Weil Hotel Ipoh

Connecting to a big mall, free parking and the parking at 4th floor , but I don’t think it’s a clean room, won’t clean the floor everyday,

One of the top hotels in Ipoh. Quite a big hotel, with 13 floors (including a bar and infinity pool at the rooftop). The twin room is a comfortable size for 2. All amenities provided, including complimentary snacks and 2 canned drinks in the mini bar. They've also installed a filter tap beside the basin in the bathroom that provided free flow drinking water. There's also a hot water dispenser provided at the lobby. The rooftop pool is a fair size and you get a lovely sunset view too. It's also accessed controlled by room card, ensuring exclusivity for in-house guests. There's also a gym but I didn't check it out. I love the creative Christmas tree in the lobby that had little towel animals, a running train and hand written greetings. The hotel is also connected to Ipoh Parade mall, providing great convenience. The hotel stay came with complimentary breakfast buffet from 6.30am to 10.30am and supper from 11pm to 2am! Breakfast is common but Supper is pretty innovative. Though the spread is limited to 1 savoury and 1 sweet item, the idea itself was a feel-good worthy thought. The breakfast spread is rather standard but quality is so so, I did enjoy the Nasi Lemak station and Chee Cheong Fun.

We booked 2 rooms. Initially were very happy being given connected rooms. Rooms were clean but the bathrooms were disappointing. In our king bed bathroom, the bidet spray was leaking, basin drainage was slow, water seeps from the glass shower whenever we took showers. For the double single beds bathroom, the stopper for the bathtub was loose & water just couldn’t fill up. The bathroom blind was spoilt & cannot open. We feedback to the staff & request items to be fixed while we were out during the day, but nothing was done. As for the breakfast buffet, generally most of the food were very salty & inconsistent standard for the same type of food each day. Worst experience of all, we were charged the tourism taxes again upon checkout when we already prepaid all charges online!

It's really best hotel ever . Check in / out are super fast and friendly staff . The amenities are perfect and have roof top bar . The breakfast are reanice and The evening complimentary cocktail makes me amazed

The hotel room was clean and well furnished. Good location next to Ipoh Parade which had many food options for every meal. There is also a big supermarket in the shopping mall where you can buy many household items and tourist collectibles.

Nice and clean hotel, hotel link to Ipoh parade mall. However, I only encountered carpark lots insufficient for hotel guest during my first night check in , due to the functions held in the hotel on Saturday night. Hotel management should control the carpark lot to reserve for check in hotel guests priority .
