Great value, wonderful staff, they have developed a faithful following. Too bad they are closing! Apparently the Palace Company of resorts sold it and is going to be turned into a top-end wellness spa. Who needs that anyway? Glad we had the opportunity to visit prior to it being closed. Again, staff was top notch! Thank you.

Food selection & quality were below standards. Was charged $290 for a romantic dinner of surf & turf that I could have ordered on the normal menu for $49 per person.

We were really looking forward to visiting this hotel after reading all the reviews. For the price we paid it ended up being a disaster. There was no breakfast or lunch buffet as promised. The management staff did not care for the guests and the hotel was rundown.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, excellent food, amazing staff. Love that it is right on the beach. So disappointed this hotel has been bought out. After staring at different all-inclusive hotels for the last 20 years, this is one that we go back to or become a member to make the trip happen more often.

This resort can’t be beat. From the beautiful rooms, to the waterside dining, to the endless drinks (beat margarita ever) to the excellent staff. We enjoyed every single moment!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights and we were blown away! The food and drink was delicious and unlike anything we had seen at other all inclusive resorts. The property was beautiful and always very clean. The hotel staff also exceeded our expectations, especially Manuel, who was keen on letting us practice our Spanish with him and always had a smile on his face (and a margarita in hand for us)! The only complaint I would say is that the resort excursion and spa prices were incredibly high comparable to similar resorts, and the hotel company was not very transparent about these prices on their website. Palace resorts advertise that you receive a certain amount of credits when you stay with them, and include a listing of the credits you receive in proportion to the number of nights you are staying, but only in very fine print specify that it only applies to members. I think this huge distribution of credits to members is why the resorts prices are so high for everybody else. Other than that, we had a wonderful time.
