Hotel berhampiran 50. Yil Parki, Istanbul

Genel anlamda iyi. Daha önce de kaldığım bir otel. Bu sefer tuvalette hafif idrar kokusu vardı. Gece saatlerinde otele giriş yaptığım ve sadece 1 gece kalacağım için sorun etmedim. Temizlik konusunda daha dikkatli olmalarını öneririm.

Amazing location, close to Kadıköy pier. From Kadiköy you can easily reach European side or islands by ferry. Hotel is new, very clean and modern. Friendly and helpful staff. Really huge room. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Moda Drei was fine for a few days. The dorm was nice and large with great AC, and the lockers are huge, really good (although their electronic locks beep loudly whenever locked or unlocked which isn’t great if the room is asleep). The beds have lovely big shelves with reading lights and a power point, and privacy curtains. The WiFi is decent, not consistent but generally fine. There are some very cute cats that live there, which I loved, although some may not be so keen on this. I have to say other than this, I felt generally underwhelmed/disappointed with this place, and don’t understand all the glowing reviews for it. I feel like the way it’s advertised (from their photos/online blurb they want to be seen as a chic concept hostel/workspace environment), vs. what it actually is, is quite different. Covid probably hit these guys hard which is sad, and when they opened a few years back this place probably was very modern and cool, but right now it’s pretty dirty and messy and has more of a student house vibe (after a house party…). The walls, stairs and doors everywhere are grotty, the common areas are small and dishevelled with big stains on most of the upholstery, and the small kitchen is usually in a gross state, really filthy, with a fridge too small for the amount of people staying and nowhere else to store dry food. No paper towels or anything in the toilets to dry your hands, and nowhere in the showers to put your stuff or hang your clothes properly. The toilets were the worst - two for each floor, always dirty and disgusting, some with broken toilet seats, some with locks so old and worn they jam (I had to help free someone stuck inside on one occasion). The place is run by volunteers (other travellers) who live there, and it shows - a proper staff and cleaners would probably keep the place in a much better state. The volunteers are generally lovely, one or two give off a very weird vibe though (the guy with the dreads in his beard). The location itself is OK, it’s technically in Kadikoy and there is a cool coffee shop or two and supermarket nearby, but most stuff of interest, as well as the ferry and bus terminals, are a 15/20 minute walk away. The street itself is a building site, the entire building next door is just a concrete shell with builders and drills working from 9am everyday which doesn’t make for a fun waking up experience. The vibe at the hostel is also quite dull, a mix of slightly aloof digital nomads and solo travellers, and there are also no social activities from what I could see. Overall while I wouldn’t return, I wouldn’t dissuade others from coming as it may be more to others’ tastes than mine, and wish these guys all the best. The hostel is fine for short stays, but there are probably others that are much better in Istanbul.

Rezervasyonumu trip.com üzerinden yaptırmıştım. Sorunsuz bir şekilde otele yerleştik. Otel konumu güzel, otopark - ücretsiz Vale imkanı mevcut. Tek sorun otelin önünde bekleme yapma imkanı yok. Doğrudan sokağa açılıyor. Personel ilgili ve güler yüzlü. Temizlik ve otelin konforu gayet yeterli.

The building is old and you can smiles sewage odder in bath room . Towels are turn and old. The is okay in size, but the air conditioner is very bad. In middle of the night it get hot.

Overall good place to stay, some staff don't speak English but as a workaround showed me exactly what they wanted to communicate by using Google translate Only slight negative I had was the rooms weren't sounds proof, very far from it.

Everything is brand new and spotlessly clean! The hostel is located in the Asian part of Istanbul and is on the 6th upper floor. There is a supermarket ”BIM” on the ground floor - very convenient. The underground station ”Bostanci” (line M4) is within 5 minutes walking distance. and goes directly to the airport ”Sabiha Gokcen SAW”. Great location! The bed and pillows were very comfortable, rarely had such a comfortable pillow. Extra thumbs up for it. Each bed has a socket and a small reading lamp on the headboard and a no basket on a wall lattice. Everything was very thought out! Bed linen, toilet, shower were also very clean! Mert, the host is extremely helpful, attentive, open-minded and the team also makes a great effort to make the hostel guests feel comfortable. Safe and welcome feeling of living! Hospitality excellent! Co-working area is well equipped. Great wifi, work stations, meeting room - everything there. The digital nomads that were on site were thrilled and are partly there for another time. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. If you want to join a WhatsApp group via a QR code - through this group, various activities are organized/communicated. Great atmosphere in general. Will book here again for the next Istanbul stay! New hotel and very clean. There are amenities other than toothbrushes. Transportation is convenient as there are buses and trains nearby. I want to stay again.

The room I was in was so small that there was barely any space to open up my bag. Even when sitting on the toilet my knees touched the wall. The biggest issue was the probably 200 people 2 meters away from your window getting drunk and partying until 6 am. I literally only slept 2 hours because there is absolutely zero sound isolation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled very nice.
