Ulasan Marpalace Hotel

I called this hotel ahead of time to check if the room was ready. I was told it was and no problem. When arriving I met what seemed to be the owner that spoke very little English. He mumbled the room was not ready something about the water. He said he has another hotel and pointed us into a direction 2 guys took our bags. We followed them because we had no other choice as it was close to 23:30pm we were desperate to for sleep. We ended up in a place called Then Moss. The room which we were given was a basement room. It smelt like mould, the linen was damp and there where clothes in the cupboard (not sure who it belonged to). I would not recommend this hotel to any one. Please stay away

I have checked into the hotel on 25 Jan 2023, I would now call it more a motel than a hotel, There is noise most of the time in the corridors. The room was in a very shabby condition. I would definitely recommend that you spend a little more money and look elsewhere. they have the sign with a lot of pictures on their website and it all looks good but none of it really fits.

This hotel is not really worth for 3*. Amenities and condition is so bad. Neighborhood is terrible. There is even no elevator.

People beware! We booked for 5 nights but only spent 4 hours until we found a new hotel. We were not refunded anything, as the owner of the hotel told us very rudely and unfriendly that we would not get a cent back. The inside and outside pictures are fake, this building that you see on the website does not exist, the other pictures do not represent the room, all pictures have been edited, the beds are dirty and do not fit properly in the room. The toilet was very dirty, my daughter could not go to the toilet because of the dirty toilet.

This place is really hard to find, there are no obvious signs. The positioning is not that accurate either. The room is relatively old, has no windows, and is relatively expensive... I personally feel that the price/performance ratio is relatively low in Istanbul.
