Ulasan Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Old City

Our stay at Hilton Istanbul Old City was enjoyable. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable. The hotel is located near a tram stop, making it an ideal location for exploring Istanbul. However, on the first day of our stay, the towels were very old and had holes. Furthermore, the breakfast was quite disappointing, as there was a limited selection in comparison to other Hampton by Hilton hotels in Europe.

It’s close to public transportation, especially the airport bus station. Everything worked and the room assigned to us js spacious. There are grocery stores nearby. All the staffs are friendly and helpful, especially one of them sent us coffee and water while we were waiting for our room. The only disappointment was the daytime front office manager (short, chubby and mid age) - he lied to us that we can not get Istanbul card by ourselves in the metro station due to language issue and suggested that we pay more to get it somewhere else.

The room is fine, but the bathroom is without door for the whole period of my 4 days 3 nights stay. I did tried to feedback to the front desk, but they said the door is being removed for repair, and there is no extra room for us. The attitude of the front desk personnel was unfriendly and unhelpful.

A hotel modern design, clean rooms, a rich breakfast, luggage storage service, a grocery store and LC.W clothing. It is 700 meters from the Yanikapı metro, 250 meters from the Yusuf Pasha tram, and 600 meters from the airport buses.

The first time I’ve been disappointed with a Hampton. Arrived to an unclean room (bundle of hair in shower, black curlies in sink…) and was told that it was ‘fixed’ upon arrival back at the hotel later that evening. Was then given a new room, but clearly housekeeping is below par. Breakfast way below Hampton brand standard. No waffles, no bacon(!?!!) and no pastries or sweets - what’s going on? People going to a Hilton, do not want local breakfast. They want a western standard. Even the coffee machine is behind the counter, so guests are unable to pour their own drinks. Very bad overall, and the first Hampton in many I have visited, to have been this way.

good location for airport bus. hotel is decent, a bit noisy in the evening.

Very high room, highly recommended and near to tram station yusufpasa just 120m walking distance.

Amazing location close to Aksaray metro and direct express bus line to airport (HAVAIST-12), also a tram stop right in front of the hotel was our main method of transportation because of its convenience. Variety of venues to eat around, mall with Starbucks within 10m walk. Good breakfast. Friendly staff at the reception met us with turkish tea at check-in. Housekeeper Aynur did an amazing job in terms of cleaning and meeting our every need.

Modern hotel, very good location near tram (T1), metro 3 lines, ferry, airport bus station (aksaray), in the heart of wholesale market, good breakfast, helpful and fast response staff

This is the most horrible location, awful staff, and terrible security. Please never ever stay in this area. My bag with all of my belongings (my money, passport, credit cards) was stolen during breakfast when I was away from my table for 2! minutes. FOR 2 MINUTES! Staff was barely & almost unwilling to be helpful to contact the police, check security cameras and do something about the situation. When they finally showed me footage from the security cameras, it was a man who had been walking around at the restaurant and lobby for 3 WHOLE days prior to stealing my things because I've been seeing him around and didn't suspect anything. What kind of staff is that who don't even check who is coming in to the hotel and who can access it. The staff on duty that day (especially receptionist Furkan) was not even trying to fake to be worried about my situation, utter indifference and arrogance. If your next question is about whether police did anything, no they did not. The rooms were fine & breakfast was okay too, nothing fancy. JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL AND JUST DON'T COME TO THIS COUNTRY. I wish I never did.
