If you are an Accor loyalty program member, please do not expect any special treatment. Everything you ask for is a no. No upgrades, as they will conveniently state the policy that's subject to availability. No late check outs once again sighting the subjectivity. Cleaning of rooms only when you request them. As a Accor Gold member, and paying for a deluxe room, I had a room with a view facing a dilapidated building. (Photo attached) Out of my three nights stay, I was moved to a Bosporus view room on the last night at 5 pm, that to to a smaller, superior room. Unlike the assurance of Accor to all its loyalists that they will protect pricing, I booked at 66000/- INR, as opposed to 45000/- INR available on several sites other than Accor. So please don't book this property with Accor. There is no taxi convenience at all. The Mesai bar facing the Bosporus is a fab bar, with exceptional music. Best to visit on Fri/ Sat. Engin Ecsay was the only good thing that the property had other than the Mesai. A good person in the bad property. If you are an Accor loyalist, unlike most brilliant service in Pullman Danang, Vietnam or the M Gallery Hoi An, Vietnam or Fairmont, Jairpur, India, this is bound to be a damper. A strict no no for for the price. Undoubtedly the location is fab, but there are better properties in Karakoy, Istanbul to be in at much better price and superior amenities. Please scratch this property immediately. Strict no no.

Just returned from a long weekend in Istanbul with a friend. We really liked the Azzap it's very central and well within walking distance of the usual sights. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with a lovely reception area which looks both smart and welcoming. Yes the hotel rooms are small - but it's a city hotel, what do you expect!? The beds are extremely comfortable, with lovely pillows and linen, the rooms are well insulated, I know there were people next door to me and I other than their door opening or closing I couldn't hear anything else. I was in the room above my friend and he couldn't hear me walking around. The windows open properly, so you can leave them open when you leave and the housekeeper can close them when she has done the room. I love an aired hotel room! Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the top floor so you get a great view, the choice is small but it's fine and the lady at breakfast is always cheerful and helpful. Ther are couple of things I would like to mention, but this is just for the management to take on board... *the room safes are not bolted in which is pretty pointless, guests might not realise this and leave valuables. We kept ours with us. * I loved the fact that you had to swipe your door key to go to your floor - the lift won't stop unless it is yours, you can't press any other buttons other than your own. Fantastic! * except.... you can walk from one floor to another using the stairs * the carpet on the 6th floor when you get out of the lift to go to the restaurant and bar sees a massive amount of traffic - it looks really grubby All in all, we had a great time, I'd have no hesitation recommending the Azzap.

Sadly I only stayed in this elegant hotel for one night on my return home from an extended month in Europe. It is comfortable and very well located. My only quibble is the view from my balcony was not exactly beautiful as I stared straight into the ramshackle roof of a neighbourly building. The bar on the top floor is a must with a gorgeous view of the vibrant Bosporus. What really makes this place special is the warmth and sincerity of the staff. Rarely do I highlight individuals but Valeria on the front desk is a rich asset. She is friendly and hospitable to all and makes everyone feel welcome. So five stars for the hotel and six for Valeria!

Lokasinya sempurna. Reka bentuknya sangat elegan dengan pencahayaan yang menakjubkan di bilik. Kakitangan hotel di penerimaan tetamu hebat dan mereka sangat membantu. Hanya penjaga rumah yang perlu dilatih kerana mereka selalu masuk ke bilik tanpa membunyikan loceng dan tidak mengatakan apa-apa bahkan tidak menutup pintu secara langsung. Ia berlaku 3 kali sepanjang penginapan kami, ketika saya baru selesai mandi. Seterusnya, saya harap mereka lebih mementingkan privasi tetamu.

Absolutely Perfact place for visitors. Very clean very nice and very convenient. Front Desk stuff are full of happy welcoming and always able to help you out. Morning breakfast is excellent with a lot of variety. Rooms are big with many kind of coffee and biscuits for free. Also available mini bar in room for those who they like alcohol. I am very satisfied give 10 out of 10 points

This hotel is perfect for a short stay in Istanbul. The rooms are not very big, however the hotel is spacious. Everything is clean. Breakfast that is included in the room is not very good. We went early to breakfast and the restaurant was extremely cold as they didn't turn on the AC ahead. The view from that restaurant is splendid.

Hi Hotel is in a good location; if you are able to get a room on the higher floors then the view is amazing. The room was a reasonable size and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was also good.

These guys are a scam operation. They’ll offer you airport transfer at inflated prices, there driver won’t show up, so you’ll take a different cab/taxi, then when you end up at the hotel they will make paying for the their shuttle (which was never there) a precondition for handing you the room keys (which was already paid for in my case). Total scam operation, rude front desk staff and general manager. I chose to leave that hotel there and then which my four suitcases and family of four, took a cab, found a hotel while in cab over phone, paid double obviously at the last minute, at another hotel, was greeted there again with the familiar Turkish hospitality and the worst travel nightmare came to an end. Plus the location is horrible, deep, narrow, steep alleyways, most larger van/shuttle type vehicles can’t make it without scraping their bottoms and getting damaged in the process, which if you don’t have a nice driver you may end up having to pay for. Consider your self forewarned, Don’t stay there. And like a typical scam operation they change their name frequently. Sometimes add Taksim to their name, sometime not. Pera or Agha or Orient in their name at different sites. their address is Duvarcı Adem Sk. No:35, 34435 Beyoğlu/İstanbul

Holiday Inn Istanbul City, an exceptional hotel, IHG Group! We stayed there in June 2022, 9 days! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS reception staff!!! We received, as it was my birthday, a business room of 55 square meters! With living room, bedroom, exceptional! Pool view! Also, the cleanliness is 100%! Very good location, right in the tram station, which has a separate line, so transport is not limited by road congestion. A bit disturbing is the fact that, sometimes, we had to leave the pool at 3 or 4 p.m. because sometimes they had wedding parties organized in the pool area. But these parties are very nice, not disturbing, because at 11 pm they were over. It is very easy to reach Florya beach, in approx. 30 minutes by MetroBus. We recommend!

Das Hotel ist ganz schlicht. Es ist sauber und wird täglich gereinigt. Die Mitarbeiter und der Chef sind sehr nett und freundlich. Die Lage ist neutral, da zwar direkt vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle ist aber zu der Straßenbahnhaltestelle muss man knapp 1 km erstmal laufen. Für eine reine Übernachtung ist es gut, aber die Zimmer sind wirklich klein. Frühstück war okey aber nicht übermäßig. Blick von der Terrasse auf dem Dach war schön aber keine Bedienung aktuell.

I'm not sure why this hotel is only rated 4 star! it should be 5 star and more! I've stayed in some seriously expensive hotels in my time and this hotel has surpassed every other 5* hotel! the Staff were super super friendly! Rawida arranged for us to go the dead sea and the hotel even paid for our entry fee to a resort which included lunch. Rawida also arranged a 2 day trip to Petra and Wadi Rum (she booked us a tent overnight experience and I was nervous being the clean freak I am, but honestly once again it exceeded my expectations as well); rest of the reception and Security team (Shane, Raed, Hamed, Mohammed Attar, Malik, Abu Sohaib, and Ashraf) were all amazing and were so friendly and caring including the gatekeepers who would open the gate just for us to enter on foot I cant thank them enough for making Jordan an unforgettable EXPERIENCE!

Do not recommend the area, Fatih is not a tourist area for westerners or lone women, let's make that clear. The first room I was given was on the ground level and extremely near the open restaurant area which claims to be no smoking, but my room absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. The bed was hard, there was a hair on the top sheet and the bathroom was just showing its age. Don't get me wrong, the term 'no smoking' appears to be universally ignored here, I get it, Turks love a smoke, but I have asthma. I asked the younger man on reception if Fatih is dangerous or unsafe for lone women, he rolled his eyes so far they almost fell out and laughed at me, dismissing me as if my observation was wrong. Let's get this straight, I'm pretty savvy and have been to some terrible places, but Fatih was like visiting a reenactment of an 80s Kosovan war site. There are decrepit buildings and kids playing in rubble. Older men line the street selling objects on the floor. No doubt this hotel looks good if you're on a budget but unless you're desperate or want to cosplay third world living I'd recommend it's avoidable. A tall man working at the hotel, overhead my complaints and spoke good English. He kindly helped me move to their hotel opposite (the Herton) - it was definetly an upgrade, slightly.

Заселение прошло быстро, на ресепшене доброжелательный мужчина. Из плюсов наверное все. Кровать в номере была в волосах, было очень не приятно спать. Решил, что буду спать в одежде. Было холодно, посторонний запах, ужасная звукоизоляция. Потом понял, что это был хостел (санузел был совсем рядом с номером). Там постоянно до 2 часов ночи ходили в туалет, в душ и разговаривали на повышенных тонах. В номере был чайник, но он такого качества ужасного, что я решил не воспользоваться. Еще неприятный осадок оставила уборщица, которая пришла вся недовольная и потребовала у меня ключи в 11.40 (т. е. за 20 минут до моего выезда). Почему бы не тревожить гостя и самой забрать ключи на ресепшене??
