I recently had the delight of staying at Izu Marriott, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location of the hotel. Nestled in the picturesque town of Izu, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The hotel itself is equally impressive. It is well-designed and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff at Izu Marriott. They were incredibly polite and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable stay. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or assistance with my room, the staff was always available and eager to help. Especially thank Roshan and the front desk team, who provide exceptional service to us.

食事のおいしさはピカイチと感じました。 2泊して昼食を和食と洋食にしましたが、和食のおいしさが光ります。 料理長さんの味付けがとても気に入りました。 朝食に供された焼き海苔は、 木箱に入っていて、箱の中で温めている。 食事している間はパリッとした焼き海苔の食感が楽しめます。 部屋の露天風呂もとても良い。 時間があったので40分ほどの山歩きをした。 残念ながら曇天で富士山を見ることはできませんでした。 もう一度訪れたい思い出深い旅館のひとつとなりました。

河津桜まつりに合わせて、予約しました。 到着してすぐ温泉に入りましたが、広い内風呂と、外の岩風呂は開放感があってとても最高でした。 泉質がとても良く、湯あたりもしないので、何度も楽しむことができそうです。朝も5時から入れるのが嬉しい！ 夜少し外を散歩したら、満天の星空でとても感動しました。 スタッフの方々もとても親切で、全体的にとても満足しています。 ホテルの目の前がゴルフコースだったので、次回は仲間と泊まってゴルフの予約をしたいと思います。

Our room has a Mount Fuji view, which was great! However, the location of the hotel is situated on the hill, so May not be so convenient for travellers who don’t drive. Also, if you want to go to the public onsen within the hotel, you will have to take the shuttle bus, which is a bit inconvenient. However, overall this hotel is still a good choice!

We had the most wonderful time at Ochiairo! I came here for a birthday trip with my husband and best friend and we stayed in the spacious Aofuji room overlooking the river. The spatial arrangement offered more than enough space and privacy for 3 people and probably 2 couples or a family and kids. The white noise lulled us to sleep every night and it was simply magical. The international staff was so helpful to us. While we don’t speak Japanese, they did their best to understand and attend to us and it all worked out. They went above and beyond making my birthday feel very special. It was the small details that really mattered - ensuring that we had bikes and activities arranged the night before, coming to our room to teach me how to wear my yukata when I asked them to help, and even cleaning out and lovingly packaging some souvenir bento containers we arrived with when they saw them in our mini fridge! Everything about this place is just so beautiful. A few notes: - THE BATHS! When I tell you that I screamed when I saw the cave and private onsen in particular - just trust that they cannot be missed. - We are all tattooed - one of us significantly so. They have small tattoo covers but ask that you do cover them in the main bath areas (I only know this because I asked and they were incredibly polite about the advice) - We brought tattoo cover but in case you don’t want to bother, please take advantage of the absolutely stunning outdoor private baths - The food is great and eat dinner in sitting rooms upstairs (not served in your room) - You get unlimited drinks (alcoholic and otherwise) and snacks which was another pleasant surprise because they are so tasty! - The koi fish in the front swim up to you and follow you around with such enthusiasm. It’s as if they’re little pond puppies. The staff allowed us to feed them so if interested, please ask. - Don’t miss the swing next to the suspension bridge! - While I loved our room - please note that there is an abandoned hotel directly across the river from it. Kind of ruined the “I am communing with nature” vibes but it was fine in the long run. I could go on, but just trust that this place is just exceptional!

My family and I loved our experience at this onsen! The accommodations are first-rate and blend superbly a traditional japanese inn experience with modern comforts and luxury. The hot spring baths are all private and thoughtfully integrated into the rooms. It's incredibly relaxing to submerge yourself in one after a long day exploring the Izu peninsula! The service is impeccable and the staff are uniformly gracious and attentive. Finally, the food at the inn might have been the highlight! Breakfast and dinner are included and each is a high-class, multi-course meal. We were all amazed by how ornate, delicious, and varied the food was each time we sat down. Overall, we could not recommend this stay highly enough! It helped make our experience in Japan very special and one we'll cherish for many years.

We, me and wife stayed at their exclusive and independent cottage called “Suguro” for a night. In conclusion, the premises was superb in terms of accommodations, facilities AND of course sophisticated services. Very specious 180 sqm, 100 years old, but fully renovated consists of exterior private hot spring bath, a kind of steam sauna, bed room, living&kitchen, Japanese traditional Tatami mat room, study room, balcony with river stream, even with great sound audio system provide the most relaxing time in the nature. Fusion Italian with a sense of Japanese artistic additions with paired glacé of wine at main dinning was also incredible. The breakfast was authentic with local vege, fish and ingredients. I’ve been staying a bunch of lux hotels, however this was really one of tops!!

Located near the downstream of the Katsura River, the hotel straddled both sides of the river. It is a historical building built nearly a hundred years ago with several phases of expansion. Check in was smooth though it took a while to finish. We went into our room and found it is one of the largest rooms we have ever stayed in Japan. The room was in fact a suite with separate bedroom and living room, and an additional sitting area, toilet and bathroom. My view was facing the hillside with lots of green. It was really an old house and it sounds when you are walking on the wooden floor. The hotel is quite big, with a restaurant, 2 public baths, one oudoor and and indoor, and 4 private baths, a bridge inside the hotel, a souvenir shop, a coffee room and many rest area. Free afternoon snacks and late night noodle is provided to guests. Japanese style dinner and breakfast was served. The quality and portion were both very good, and service was of course outstanding. I particularly like the option of soba in addition to white rice. Another excellent offer of the hotel is teh check out time of 12 noon. I have never stayed in a onsen hotel with check out time of 12, it gives you enough time to enjoy the hotel facilities.

■立地 　修善寺駅から路線バス（220円現金のみ）で、みゆき橋下車2-3分。桂川沿いで新しい橋を渡った反対側。路線バスの修善寺温泉駅からも徒歩7分ぐらい。高層の大型旅館。紅葉の時は景色が綺麗かもしれない。 ■近隣アトラクション 　無料貸出の電動自転車で虹の郷まで行くのがオススメ。自転車もPanasonic製で新しく、坂道でもパワフルだった。20分ぐらいで到着できる。虹の郷ではSLや富士山の景色などが楽しめる。また、修善寺温泉に宿泊の領収書などがあると、虹の郷は３割引に窓口してくれる。 ■部屋 　部屋が広く、畳にベットを設置してあったので寝心地も快適だった。加湿器があったのが良かった。 ■食事 　品数で勝負のビュッフェスタイル。子連れであれば、エンタメ気分で楽しめる。綿菓子などの縁日仕様にすればもっと楽しいかも。逆にごちゃごちゃしているので、ゆっくり楽しみたいや雰囲気重視の方にはおすすめできない。 ■アメニティ 　旅館内のデイリーヤマザキのコンビニ前で好きなものを好きなだけ取るスタイル。大箱ホテルだけにこのように人件費・メンテコストを下げる経営努力は、合理的だと思う。浴衣が選べるサービスは非常に良いと思う。有料でスペシャルな浴衣があってもいいのでは？インスタ映えするようなデザインがあれば。 ■ホスピタリティ 　チェックインが17時をまわりそうだったので、事前に連絡。その際は、夕食は18時と18時半の２回しかなく、１９：４５の２部制は今の時期はやっていないとのことで、昼飯も食べずに急いでホテルに向かう。宿のフロントでは、１８時の次は、１９時半の２部制と言われ、電話と時間の食い違い有り。それに対してクレームしたものの、受付の女性はクレームが日常茶飯事なのか、全くお詫びも確認もなく淡々としたもの。おそらく、電話の方は勘違いで時間を伝えたものと思われるが、こちらが１９：４５はあるのかと聞いて、ないと念押しをしているのに、間違った時間を伝えたのが残念。ミスは仕方がないが、受付のフォローがなかったので失望。

【2泊3日で1万円。それでこんなにサービス良くて立地良くて。いいんですか⁈】 ・2泊3日素泊まり(1人約10,500円) にて宿泊させていただきました。 ・伊豆半島の西側、「土肥(とひ)」という地の海沿いに佇む「西伊豆土肥温泉 碧き凪ぎの宿 明治館」さん。おそらく、全室がオーシャンビューで、低階層でもしっかり海が見える素敵な旅館さんだと思います。 [お部屋] ・8畳間と4畳くらいの広縁、バストイレ別の独立洗面台ありなお部屋でした。昭和からよくある構成のTHE 旅館なお部屋ですかね。年季の入ったお部屋ですが、きちんと清掃などされているので、「古汚い」という印象はありません。 ・電源は少なめなので、沢山のIT機器を充電したりする場合は電源タップなど持ち込むことをお勧めします。 ・何より、広縁が壁全面が窓になっているので、海がしっかり見えます。特に夕日が沈むさまを部屋から愉しむことができて、非常に心地良い空間です。夜には同じ広縁で、照明を全て消して少しだけ窓を開け、外の明かりと波音に耳を澄ませながらお酒をちびちびと愉しむ。こんな贅沢な時間を過ごしたのは久しぶりです。 [温泉] ・老舗旅館なのに、設備、空間に清潔感があります。もちろん経年劣化な部分は感じますが、かなりしっかりと清掃されていることが伺える気持ちよい空間になっています。外の光を目いっぱいお風呂の中に取り入れているところも素敵です。湯は透き通っており、温度も熱すぎずぬるぬるすぎずの適温。朝に貸し切り状態で利用させていただきましたが、これまた贅沢なお時間。 ・貸切露天風呂は「うららの湯」と「ぬくみの湯」の2種類が用意されています。有料で、45分2200円かかりますが、一度は体験してみてよいと思います。設備はさらに綺麗。木で作られた空間に内湯もあり、外の露天では海を見ながら優雅な時を過ごすことができます。もちろん、洗い場もしっかりあります。こちらは大浴場と異なって、かけ流しのお湯の為、少し熱めです。お好みで水の量を足して、ちょい熱めでも、しっかりぬるめでも愉しむことができます。 [お食事] ※今回は未利用です。次回、是非体験させていただこうと思います。 [館内・ロビー] ・1Fロビーには、お土産売り場とお菓子の売店、ゲームコーナー(※訪問時はコロナ禍の為、閉鎖中でした)など子供も愉しめるアクティビティが沢山です。荷物を運ぶ用の大きなカートもあり、子連れで大荷物でも安心です。 [接客] ・お食事などなかったので、あまり接点はありませんでしたが、車を預ける際や、貸切露天を借りる際など、非常に明るく優しく接してくださいました。とても気持ちの良いものでした。 [その他] ・子連れにとって、非常にありがたいサービス満載です。大浴場にも貸切露天にも、ベビーバスからベビーチェア、玩具などが用意されています。お部屋には、幼児用のマットやおむつ入れなどママには安心すぎるアメニティがあり、しかもそのどれもがキャラ物や可愛らしいもので統一されており、とても嬉しいサービスです。受付では「おむつは大丈夫ですか？」と足りなくなったらおむつまで提供してくださろうとして、子連れにとっては至れり尽くせりなサービスでした。 [全体] ・総じて、ゆったりと過ごすことができるお宿さん。そして、目の前の海で朝でも夜でも遊べるワクワク感。朝の光で目覚めることができる気持ちよさ。子供連れでも快く迎え入れてくださる驚くほどのサービス精神。素敵でした。 ・部屋の「綺麗さ」は人によって感じ方にかなり差が出るものなので、昨今の新しい旅館やホテルと比べたら、それは年季が入ったお部屋と言わざるを得ませんが、個人的には昭和・平成の時代から生き抜いてきたTHE旅館であり、その中でもリノベやリニューアルせずともしっかり綺麗に保たれているとすら感じました。加えて、サービスと立地が素敵。そして、2泊3日で1人約1万円ぽっきり。コスパ良すぎやしませんか？笑 ・ということで、とてもゆっくりした休日を過ごさせていただきまして、本当に感謝です。ありがとうございました。 #旅館 #ホテル #西伊豆 #宿泊 #高コスパ #明治館 #土肥温泉 #子供連れ大歓迎 #貸切露天風呂 #露天風呂 #温泉 #Ryokan #Hotel #Nishiizu #Accommodation #HighＣostPerformance #Meijikan #TohiHotSpring #ChildrenWelcome #CharteredOpen-airBath #Open-airBath #HotSpring
