I must say that I had high expectations given the reputation of Vannraj, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. Firstly, I found the buffet spread during my stay to be significantly lacking in variety, especially considering the price that was charged. The limited options available were disappointing and did not justify the cost of the meals. Secondly, I was disappointed with the service provided by the restaurant staff. There were noticeable delays in serving basic items like bread, and during breakfast, milk was not available for coffee. Additionally, I observed that there was a lack of anticipation regarding the number of guests present and the speed at which the buffet needed to be refilled. This resulted in inconvenience and a less than satisfactory dining experience. One aspect that particularly concerned me was the allowance of pets, specifically dogs, in the dining area. This practice is highly unhygienic as guests would come into contact with these animals, potentially transferring germs from their hands to the buffet dishes. I strongly recommend revisiting this policy to ensure a clean and sanitary dining environment for all guests. Moreover, the room cleaning staff did not meet the expected standards. On a broader note, I believe that Vannraj Resort is overhyped, and the prices charged do not align with the level of service provided. The disparity between the expectations set by the resort's reputation and the actual experience was quite significant. Finally, I would like to mention the lack of staff presence near the pool area to assist guests with towels. It was inconvenient to have to go all the way to the reception desk to request them. I recommend ensuring that there are dedicated staff members available at the pool area to promptly address such guest needs.
