I am staying at Carawan Hotel Jeddah since 8 days and have a reservation for another 4 nights Yesterday I found couple of small cockroaches in the room and complained about them to the receptionist and he started smiling as if this a a normal thing for him and promised me to change the rooms within no time Nothing happened and I went out and came late Today again I found cockroaches crawling on the bed and went down to the reception immediately and again he promised to change in half an hour Waiting for an hour I went down and was told that the “labours” are on break and will be back after half an hour I asked him to connect me to the manager and he refused to give me his no and upon my insistence he called him and His excellently the manager refused to speak with me and I was told to go back to the room and wait I am also refused refund as this is a prepaid online reservation house keeping is on ”request” and not on daily basis

The visit was ok I would like to highlight three points and it would be great if they are available : 1- A place for women prayer on the 10th floor 2- The swimming pool area was not ready. cleaners were still cleaning at 9:30 am although big groups were at the area. 3- At the time of women groups or events, it would be better if the staff all be women and no men at all in the whole 10th floor. It was difficult to swim and move to the showers while male waiters were around. Thanks

The Aluya Hotel is situated in the Al Hamra area of Jeddah and a perfect position for getting around both in a taxi or walking. The location is very close to Palestine Street which is full of shops, cafes and restaurants and leads to the middle corniche. As soon as I entered the hotel I was impressed. There was a beautiful aroma in the air and the entrance way and ground floor area well presented. I have to say that a stand out for me about this hotel is definitely the staff. They are all delightful, welcoming and eager to make your stay the best it can be. I would like to thank all the staff but in particular Naif, Nadia, Samar and Ahmed Bin Afif (the owner). They are clearly all working hard to make this hotel the best it can be. The facilities of the hotel are superb. I reserved a deluxe king room and on arrival for one night I was upgraded to the executive suite. What a wonderful treat that was. The hotel thoughtfully provides all the traveller may need. There are nice toiletries, a hairdryer, tea/coffee and water, good air conditioning, entertainment and if required an iron on request. The rooms are exactly like the pictures on the hotel website. The king sized bed was wonderfully comfortable and I was afforded a nice view from the room. My room was at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was included and was served on the 6th floor. The choice was very good. They have traditional breakfast items and then also continental breakfast items. There is plenty of tea and coffee and juice to accompany the breakfast and the restaurant is really pleasant and provides a fantastic view. They also encourage guests to visit this area of the hotel at other times of the day to enjoy tea or coffee. While I was there I was served Saudi Arabian coffee by Hamid. He took the time to explain to me how the coffee was made and it tasted delicious. All in all I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you are looking for a hotel in a great area, with really nice facilities, at a very reasonable price and that is staffed by wonderful people, look no further than The Aluya.

فندق مريح و استقبال ممتاز من موظفين الاستقبال الرائعين و العمال و جلسات رائعة غير الموقع المميز سهل الوصول و كذلك مطعم متنوع و عمال و مشرفين على درجة عالية من المهنية كانت اقامة متميزة و مريحة تجربة يجب ان تكرر

I spent a weekend there during the month Of March. Hotel is nicely located - quiet district although it is hard sometimes to find a suitable car parking - hotel parking is full and same goes for the surrounding Room is spacious - I have booked an executive suite 2 bedrooms- it is perfectly suitable for a family of 4 Cozy Restaurant - matching with hotel size- breakfast buffet was included in the price. Variety is OK Lobby is a bit small, they have a fitness with a covered swimming pool - tiny one - Building apparently is old… furniture in rooms , lobby & restaurants are exhausted and need to be changed Overall the hotel with its prices & services is worth to stay I do recommend it for families I’ll come back again

Perfect hotel for people visiting jeddah for the first time great location near the airport

كانت التجربة في جناح تنفيذي بانورامي، فندق رائع جدا وتصميم مريح بالاستقبال والممرات. والجناح ببلكونة كبيرة وواسعة ومطلة على الكورنيش وايضا ديكور الغرفة جميل ومريح للعين والجناح كان اجمل بكثير من الصور . موقع الفندق على كورنيش هاديء ولا يوجد ازعاج او ازدحام ومطل على المرسى باطلالة مميزة عن باقي الفنادق المطلة على البحر في جدة وطاقم العمل بالفندق ودود جدا وتجربتي الشخصية كانت مع المشرف ماجد الحربي الذي كان حريص على ان تكون اقامتي متكاملة وتوفير جميع الخدمات الممكنة وايضا اجاباته عن جميع الفعاليات المتوفرة في جدة في وقت اقامتي بالفندق والخدمات القريبة من الموقع والمطاعم المميزة والكافيهات . الفندق ايضا قريب من اكبر مركزين تسوق في جدة والواجهة البحرية ونادي اليخوت والمطار و جدة سوبردوم وطريق الملك احد اهم واكبر الشوارع بالمدينة

أقمت في هذا الفندق أكثر من مرة وهو من الأماكن الجميلة التي زرتها وأقمت بها لديه الكثير لقدمة لك ويتميز بالكثير ومنها: - الموقع متميز يسهل الوصول والإنطلاق من الفندق لأي مكان في مدينة جدة. - فريق عمل ودود وخدوم يثري تجربتك في الفندق. - المرافق التي يقدمها الفندق للزائرين ممتازة وتحسن من تجربتك فيه. - مواقف سيارات ذات خدمات أمنية جيدة تساهم في الدخول والخروج من الفندق بكل يسر وسهوله. - إرتباط الفندق بمول الأندلس يعزز من تجربتك من حيث الجوانب الخدمية والترفيهية حيث أن المول به عدد كبير من المحل التجارية والماركات العالمية كذلك به ملاهي جداً ممتازة وسينما تعزز من التجربة ومطاعم والسوبرماركة. من حيث الغرف فحجمها ونظافتها وهدوئها جداً ممتاز، كذلك المطعم يقدم خدمة إفطار جيدة جداً ومتنوعة تلبي كافة الأذواق والثقافات وتعتبر من التجارب الجيدة في هذا الموضوع

1. I had european devices. No converters were available . This was my 3rd hotel in ksa and the onlz one that didnt have converter. The reception tried to work the problem out, sent me a technician who made a temp solition for one device but honesyly this was so bad . Not having converter 2. While being out i tried to contact the reception many times as i needed to ask about atms around . It was after midnight, 5 times i called and nobodz replied 3. The hotel is very far away from jeddah center 4. Room is cold even though weather is hot and ac i turned off. 5. I went to 3 hotels as said in 10 days in ksa, this is the least i enjoyed. 6. I honestly wouldnt consider coming ti this hotel again although the staff are so friendly but i had the impression that when i needed support , nothing happened . But the people's attitude was friendly to be honest but at the end of the day i wouldnt come again
