This place is a hidden gem. It is very close to Newport station and takes less than an hour to reach main attractions in NYC. When we checked in, Harry was extremely helpful. He not only greeted us well and, but also came out of his desk to show us the path to go to Newport station. He also shared a guide map copy of the location. Breakfast is in downstairs in front of reception with 4 seating inside and more outside patio.There is couple of sweets options with juices, yogurt, coffees and fruits. If you are visiting from UK, you might find portion size is a bit big. The room is quite spacious. We took a king room. Although housekeeping is on request, they cleaned our room on the second day, which we were not prepared for.

I stay at this hotel every time I visit NYC. This is my third time staying at this hotel. I love Jersey city, and how close the Newport Mall is to the hotel. If you walk through the mall, you can get to the metro station easily.

The hotel was a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was an easy walk to 2 separate PATH stations to get into the city, and we had no issue grabbing an Uber on the occasion we needed it. Free parking rounded out the deal! We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. It was a 10 minute walk to the PATH train, which made getting in and out of the city a breeze! It was our first time to NYC and we couldn't have had a more perfect trip. Free parking at the hotel was wonderful, the gentleman at the front desk provided us with TONS of helpful information. We felt very safe out entire stay! Would definitely come back and stay again!

Front desk employees were great. Breakfast is pastries and coffee. Also the free parking is a plus! The room overall was pretty clean but our sheets had yellow stains and kept coming off the bed.

We stayed at this hotel in 2016 and we liked it so much that we came back this year to explore NYC a little more. The staff is super friendly, PATH station is within walking distance, and it is a short commute to Manhattan.
