Villa Knezevic

the property is in a beautiful area. close to Entrance 1 to Plitvice lakes, friendly service.

Great location in the national park; walking distance to the park entrance. Clean and quiet suite with galley kitchen and compact shower in the bathroom. Restaurant right next door with simple food at a reasonable prices and nice local a**osphere (apparently doubles as a ski lodge in the winter). Wi-Fi would not connect supposedly due to “security concerns” with the router, though cellular service at the property was adequate for internet access and phone service. We did not try the breakfast offered at 12 euro per person as inexpensive food was readily available at the market in the little community next to the Villa Knezevic (5 minute walk) and the kitchen in the unit was more than adequate for food storage and preparation.

Good no nonsense stay. Good breakfast. Comfy beds. good pizza place next door, very reasonably priced. Easy parking. We had a room with a balcony which was a nice treat. Staff were great very easy check in and check out.

Very helpful and polite staff. Excellent apar**ent, modern and clean, minor issue was that the dishwasher wasn’t working.

It is a well kept property and staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stay in hotel only for one night, but opinion about this hotel is good. First of all hotel’s location is great, to the Plivica Lakes You could go on foot. Hotel administrator or owner I don’t now, suggested to left our car in they parking, while we will attending the park, that was really nice from them. Breakfast were good, the staff very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean, but small, for the one night good, but for longer time would be good to get room with more space. The view through the window is stunning: mountains, green trees and absolute quitness. Near hotel is located Bistro Vučnica, were we ate the best pizza’s ever. All food in this bistro were great, next day, after visiting Plitvica Lakes Park we ate there dinner and we felt very happy, because the food were great, the staff also very helpful and kind. I honestly recommend this hotel for Your stay. I hope that we come back here for longer time, because the place is awesome.

This was a really cute, clean hotel stay. The owner checked is in and was very helpful. The room was small but perfect for what we needed. It was very clean. The shower pressure is great. The owner has a restaurant nearby which you can have dinner in. We had a car so getting around was easy. There is a playground for children. We opted for the breakfast which was €8 a day - it was a pretty standard spread with breads cereals meats cheese cakes etc. This hotel is about 15 minutes walk from entrance 2, from there (if you start early) you can do the whole lakes in a day. If you follow route K you will see both the upper and lower lakes. We had two nights here and split the upper and lower lakes across the days but this wasn’t necessary and we could have done it in a day.

Lovely hotel, about 20 minutes walk from Plitvice lakes entrance. Good parts: a really charming hotel and surrounding village, nice staff, free parking on site, small refrigerator in room. Less good: no air conditioning in room (but was a fan), missing wall sockets near bed, room a bit small (there might be bigger rooms, ours was a bit compact). Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location from which to access the 2nd entey to the park, and only a few meters away from the bus stop to Zadar/Zagreb. The room is basic but clean and comfortable. Be aware there is no air con and very few choices of places to eat nearby unless you have a car. The people are very warm and welcoming. Great value.
