Awesome location great view from the balcony. Got a free upgrade from a studio to the 70sqm apartment. Made the trip even more memorable. Have stayed here before and will come back again. Great staff and good service.

What a gem! Really lovely little spot in a perfect location near the lake. Charming family-run business, with great food, great service, great bed, great shower, great everything! 10/10!

Just back from 2 nights stay at this beautiful Alpine lodge with incredibly friendly and helpful hosts, Claire an David. From bringing us tea or coffee in the evening as we sat in the cosy wood fire heated lounge to serving us wonderful coffee, ground specially in Melbourne , and delicious breakfast each morning, we were so well taken care of! Room was beautifully decorated, as was the Lodge, very comfortable with a spectacular view over Lake Jindabyne. Loved the Snowy Mountain toiletries provided and the great shower after a day of skiing! Highly recommend staying here while in Jindabyne!

We stayed for 8 nights, and less than impressed is the nicest way to put it. The only positive things I can say is the beds were comfortable and the outlook onto the lake was nice. Certainly not worth $350 per night!! The breakfast would be good if it was actually hot, even getting there upon opening at 6:30am the bacon was cold, eggs were generally only half cooked and sausages often reheated from the previous day. New manager made guests feel like an inconvenience for just being there, he is not a people person at all, the upside of this was the entertainment of what he might do next in the breakfast room, from running into guests without apology, throwing his hands in the air and swearing because he had to clear the tables after guests had finished their breakfasts, standing around with his hands down his pants, then briefly disappearing to the kitchen and returning with clean plates and we just hoped he’d washed his hands but not sure he’d actually been gone long enough to have had time. We were not provided with fresh linen and even when we asked for clean towels, we were not given a full set only bath towels. They did come into the room each day weather we liked it or not as there was no sign we could hang on the door, (although towards the end of our trip I did notice that some rooms had these so it must be pot luck) from what I could tell they changed the bins most days and sometimes restocked the room with toilet paper, tea bags etc but we frequently had to go and ask for these things much to the dismay of staff. In summary, the place has potential, but overall it was very disappointing and overpriced.

Room was warm and comfortable. However, bathroom left a lot to be desired - black mould in the shower plus brown, mouldy looking shower curtain. Asked for butter at breakfast for toast only to be told ' we've sold out!' Was given margarine from a tub in the kitchen - this happened 3 days in a row. Dining tables weren't cleaned for at least 2 days. Seemed to be few staff around - felt like a morgue. On the plus side - I was able to change my booking to the following week despite website saying it wasn't possible. Stayed here 8 years in a row with previous owners - unlikely to stay again.
