Ulasan Radisson Red Johannesburg, Rosebank

This is my second time returning to the hotel after my first trip. They remembered my name as I arrived which shows great attention to detail with customer care. I upgraded to the suite for this particular visit and honestly it was a great decision. Look forward to visiting them again when I go back to South Africa in a year’s time.

The staff was terrible and the service was bad. They dont really share concern of their guests or at least to me. Mybe because im black not sure

Llegamos muy tarde en la nochen para el check-in , al momento del check out solicitamos unos 30 minutos extra y nos fue negado, tuvimos que salir prácticamente corriendo del hotel, gracias a esto nos cambiamos al Marriot con una insuperable atención y para ese día era hasta más económico, gracias por lanzarnos a un mejor hotel.

I liked the location a lot. About two blocks from the Gautrain Rosebank station and the Rosebank mall. I don’t really consider myself a “mall person”, but the convenience for shopping is helpful, especially if you don’t have a lot of time. (The Sunday market on the rooftop is worth it.) Staff are competent and friendly and eager to please. For reasons not clear to me, I had access to the Executive Lounge and the snacks and beverages were lovely. Extra shout out to the staff in the lounge who were friendly and attentive, without being bothersome. Buffet breakfast had plenty of savory (my preference) and sweet options. Will definitely stay here during my next trip to Jozi.

Drunk barman overcharging us at Rooftop Bar. Minimal support and feedback from management on duty to make sure or at least give comfort to be able to get returning business.

New and stylish building, clean and comfortable. Room was towards small side, but sufficient for a couple.

Very good stay at the RR in Johannesburg- seems a little more restrained and pun free than the RR in Capetown where I stayed recently. Friendly welcome to the hotel and problem free check in (a couple of hours before check in time) , and a good lunch in the main ground floor restaurant. V limited tv channels, could be widened considerably? Excellent amount of power outlets in room, v comfortable and clean, nice views down Oxford Road from corner Junior suite. Difficult experience with the "24/7" room service , simple bowl of French fries order at 10h30, finally delivered an hour later, after 2 additional reminder calls. Not v impressive dish either, just a small bowl with chips thrown in - and the kitchen said they had no sweet Chilli sauce? Not much point in offering all night room service if it this poor. This was the only issue however - very nice breakfast the next morning, wide selection of the usual items. Smooth check out, at 12h00, later than most hotels?

The service from staff was bad and the food was equally bad. I went there for dinner, I don't know maybe because we were a big group they kept messing up our orders and they took long to bring the food and when the food came it was not good. I ordered a sirloin steak medium but it was almost well done and it was hard to chew, then I ordered cheese cake took them almost an hour to let us know they didn't have cheese cake. The following day we had a work conference on their facility and again we had to wait for food during our breaks (knowing the number of people who were coming why didn't they prepare enough food) even for lunch the food got finished and we had to wait 😢

Love to be at the Radisson Red Rosebank, because the staff are so professional and yet human. Love it

The price is just not worth that tiny box of a room sorry! Breakfast was great but floor service there could be better.

I will recommend my friends to visit Radisson Hotel. What I liked the most about the hotel was the attendance and the 7th flor lounge it is a very nice place. Tasteful food and a welcoming environment set up by staffing was so amazing,

My reason for the visit got inconvenienced, Did not get to do what i came for . budget disrupted as i had to make payment when i had already paid using Radisson rewards points. Not happy at all.

The safe and security is almost 100%. Caring of personal property is wonderful. I forgot my cellphone in the hotel vehicle while on the way to hotel from Airport pick up. I thought it was in the room Bar as i spend some hours there before getting in my room. I reported the matter to security, the professional lady and front desk officials a young man and young lady. They took the matter with seriously. We get it it was dropped in the vehicle. The Security Lady, the front desks officials, Roof Bar attendee and the driver are people of high intergrity. The hotel was comfortable and well maintained. The rooms are clean and adequate for a good night’s rest. The breakfast is basic and there is plenty of coffee to keep one going. The front desk is very responsive and friendly.
