This is an excellent guesthouse! It's very close to attractions like Zili Village and Liyuan Garden. The guesthouse itself is a historic building, full of character. The service is also wonderful; everyone is so warm and welcoming. Plus, it's pet-friendly, which is fantastic for traveling with your furry friends!

My first stay was fantastic! It's a shame I arrived in the evening and missed the sunset, but the service was incredibly thoughtful. They even turned on the AC an hour before my arrival. The breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious. I'll definitely be back!

This guesthouse is absolutely charming with a wonderful ambiance. The breakfast was exquisite. It truly felt like we were staying in our own private villa. The male host was incredibly attentive; the private chef he recommended was absolutely delicious. It was very sunny, and to save us from walking too far, he even picked us up and dropped us off for dinner in a cool three-wheeled vehicle. The female host was also extremely considerate. Overall, a resounding 100 thumbs up!

This was a last-minute booking, but I was so pleasantly surprised! I really loved the design and the concept. They made excellent and intelligent use of the Diaolou's unique structure. The bedding and furniture were spotlessly clean, and the butler was very attentive. Plus, Li Garden is just a quick 4-5 minute bike ride away.

The hotel is incredibly photogenic! The ground floor lobby, with its impressive 10-meter high ceiling, is particularly striking and great for photos. Our room on the second floor was spotless and fresh-smelling, and the balcony offered a wonderful view. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. We noticed many guests were families or retired women.

I booked the most affordable room type, and it was surprisingly well-designed, featuring a smart layout with separate wet and dry areas. The decor clearly shows a lot of thoughtful consideration. Breakfast was exquisite; though the portions weren't large, they were certainly satisfying. There's no elevator, and the stairs are a bit steep, but this is completely understandable and acceptable given it's a renovation of a hundred-year-old watchtower. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, you can add a dedicated host on WeChat who sends helpful reminders and tips.

The architecture boasts a distinct local character, and there's a private parking lot right at the entrance. The in-room facilities are very well-equipped. The bathroom features a thoughtfully designed three-part layout (with separate wet and dry areas) and even includes a smart toilet. The hotel service is incredibly attentive. On the morning of our arrival, the hotel called to confirm our check-in time and thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning in advance. The welcome snacks were delicious, and the nine-compartment breakfast was a unique highlight. A minor drawback, likely due to the original design of the old building, is the lack of an elevator and the rather steep stairs. Fortunately, the total number of floors isn't too high, but for guests traveling with elderly individuals or young children, booking a ground-floor room is highly recommended. Additionally, the entrance signage from the main road isn't very clear. It would be great if they could add more directional signs.

The location is fantastic – it's right next to Liyuan Garden and not far from several other attractions, making it very convenient. My only suggestion would be to improve the shower water temperature, as it wasn't quite hot enough.

The lobby is tastefully classic, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and it's clear that meticulous thought went into every detail, from the grand elements to the fine touches. If you opt for a room with a terrace, sitting on a lounge chair in the evening, listening to the frogs and feeling the gentle breeze, it simply couldn't be more idyllic. Should I ever return to Kaiping, I would absolutely want to stay here again.
