I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The furniture is old and badly maintained, making the room feel uninviting. The mirror in the room was broken, adding to the sense of neglect. There were also lots of mosquitoes in the room, making it hard to relax or sleep. The breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had, with limited options and poor quality. Additionally, the WiFi didn’t work at all. Overall, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is almost at the highest location among the hotels in Kalabaka, which a bit far from the town, it makes the environment be quiet and cozy, relaxing. But no worries, you can still access to town, it took around 5 mins travelling time by car. For the room, nice view from balcony, and the furniture is in good condition and looks new. The staff is helpful and caring, they helped for taking baggage to the second floor as no lift there, they also provided us some decorations and refreshments as it’s our honeymoon trip. The breakfast is good and delicious, and most of them is homemade food.

Завтрак так себе , но персонал очень приветливый Чайников в номере нет , после 23:00 кофе чай себе не сделать Сауну посетить или хамам , по записи и не более получаса - на а 7 евро Бассейн посетить - 13 евро - нонсенс для 5* Позднее заселение в 00:00 сторожем , по всей видимости , отобрали паспорт , так как не в компетенции сторожа проверить бронь. Отель как вокзал для больших групп на одну ночь. В общем , подумайте , в Метеоре есть частные отели в которых будут гораздо гостеприимнее чем тут К персоналу , вообще нет претензий Вай вай с перебоями - на 6 баллов из 10 Прошу прощения за отзыв , как туроператор дал объективную оценку

Very beautiful hotel with simple bedspreads and room setup. The rooms are spacious, beds and pillows are comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. Convenient location to Meteora. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a morning tour the day of checkout. When we checked out the front desk held our bags for us from 9 am until our back to Athens at 6 pm. We had 2 rooms and both were clean and ready for check in upon arrival. This hotel has basic necessities nothing fancy, if you’re looking for luxury this is not for you.

We stayed here on an overnight trip from Athens, in order to do an am tour of Meteora (Visit meteora 1/2 day tour). It's not far by foot from the train station, it's on the main road so lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We were able to check-in to our room a little bit early and then we spent the afternoon exploring Kalambaka by foot. The hotel was clean and decently priced. Some of the rooms have a view of Meteora and others have a view of the other mountain range (can't remember the name). Breakfast in the am was substantial and filling. They have a mix of Greek treats with yogurt, fruit, egg, bread, cheese, etc. It's a very friendly, family run hotel. They let us store our luggage in the am while on our tour. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if ever get back to Greece.

Αν θα μπορούσα να βάλω μείον σε αστέρια θα το έκανα... Ξεκινάμε από εκεί.. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ οποίος θέλει δωμάτιο στην Καλαμπάκα με τίποτα εκεί και θα σας εξηγήσω το γιατί..είχαμε κάνει κρατηση2 δωμάτια 2 ζευγάρια και μας εξήγησε πολύ ευγενικά η κοπέλα ότι επειδή δεν υπάρχουν 2πλα κρεβάτια θα μας τα είχαν ενώσει αυτοί πριν φτάσουμε.. Φτάνουμε στο ξενοδοχείο ανεβαίνουμε στο δωμάτιο που αντικρίζουμε ότι τα κρεβάτια ήταν 2 μόνα και ενω κατεβήκαμε να το πούμε η συμβουλή της ρεσεψιόν ήταν να τα κάνουμε μόνοι μας.. Χαχαχα πραγματικά γελοίοι οι άνθρωποι.. Συνεχίζουμε με το δωμάτιο :χνουδια και τρίχες παντού το 1 κρεβάτι ήταν να κοιμηθείς και να σηκωθείς σαν τελικο σίγμα διότι πρέπει να είχε 5μιση με 6 ταβλες το πολύ και το στρώμα ήταν τσιγαροχαρτο. Ο κλιματισμός του 1980 ενω έβγαζε πάρα πολύ ζέστη ήταν σαν να είχες δίπλα σου εργοστάσιο τόσο έντονος ήχος.. Το αποκορύφωμα το μπάνιο... Σπασμένα πλακάκια που ήταν κολλημένα και ετοιμανα φύγουν το τηλέφωνο του μπάνιου μισό σπασμένο που αν δεν προσεχές μπορεί και να κοβοσουν.. Και όλα αυτά ένα δωμάτιο με 50 ευρώ..αλλα πρέπει να παραδεχτώ ότι είναι αρκετά έξυπνοι οι άνθρωποι γιατί με το που μπαίνεις στο χοτελ πληρώνεις εκείνη την στιγμή γτ λέει αν ανέβεις πάνω και δεις το δωμάτιο θα φύγεις οπότε εξασφαλίζουν το 50ρικακι και μετά έχει ο θεός.. Με αγάπη το 206..

We just left this amazing place and cannot say enough about our stay. The place is immaculate, the views are unbelievable. We had the best breakfast we have had during our stay in Greece. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Every inch of the property is well kept. Highly recommend.

Hotel Kastraki has the old charm. We had a nice and comfortable stay there. The staff gave us Meteora map and described each monastery and viewpoint, how to get there, etc. Everybody at Hotel Kastraki were friendly and always smiling. We booked a triple room. It’s got a balcony. The bed was comfortable. Towels and pillows were fresh and clean all the time. The bathroom is a little bit old and needing an upgrade though. I have never seen a hotel where floor is carefully washed each time. The cleaning lady did an amazing job. My husband walked with white socks in the hotel room, bathroom and balcony and socks had no trace of dirt at all, still very white. The breakfast was good. Everything we needed to start the day. We’re satisfied. There’s free parking in front of the hotel.
