Завтрак так себе , но персонал очень приветливый Чайников в номере нет , после 23:00 кофе чай себе не сделать Сауну посетить или хамам , по записи и не более получаса - на а 7 евро Бассейн посетить - 13 евро - нонсенс для 5* Позднее заселение в 00:00 сторожем , по всей видимости , отобрали паспорт , так как не в компетенции сторожа проверить бронь. Отель как вокзал для больших групп на одну ночь. В общем , подумайте , в Метеоре есть частные отели в которых будут гораздо гостеприимнее чем тут К персоналу , вообще нет претензий Вай вай с перебоями - на 6 баллов из 10 Прошу прощения за отзыв , как туроператор дал объективную оценку

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff are friendly and eager to help. We enjoyed the food at Thymeli restaurant. The stuffed vine leaves were delicious!!! Also loved the breakfast!! I enjoyed using the pool and lounge area with the lovely view of the rocks, but one thing I would suggest is to fix the steps going into the pool. Bed was comfortable and rooms was very clean. I appreciate the luggage holder in the room. Small details like this make the experience more pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Nous avons passé deux nuits avec ma soeur à Oikia Guesthouse, et tout était parfait: les propriétaires sont adorables, et toujours de bon conseil, les chambres sont spacieuses et bien décorées, l'emplacement est idéal, et le petit-déjeuner très bon. Notre séjour n'aurait pas pu mieux se dérouler. Je rejoins les avis précédents qui disent que cette guesthouse vaut bien des hôtels étoilés! Bref, gros coup de coeur que je recommande évidemment fortement!

Very good hotel. When we are chick in. The front office tell us when and which place we should go. And introduce all the place to us. The root is also nice we can see the mountains in the room. I Go to the bar to order coffee, the service told me he will send it to the room . Excellence staff, every body smile. When we chick out , because we lost one room card. The beautiful ladie told me don't be mind. That's no problem. Perfect hotel in Meteora.

We stayed one night in hotel Galaxy to visit the monasteries of Meteora. The hotel is located in the city centre of Kalambaka in a little side street of the main street. That way it was peaceful yet also very close to bars, restaurants and shops. You could easily park your car for free in one of the surrounding streets. From our room, we had a stunning view on the mountains and on one of the monasteries of Meteora. Unfortunately, the walls of the room were a tad older and therefore thinner. Thus, they were not very soundproof and we could hear the visitors in the hallway and the rooms next door. The hotel staff, and in particular the receptionists, were extremely nice and helpful. Upon arrival, they welcomed us warmly and gave us a lot of inside tips and information to visit the monasteries. The breakfast buffet was extensive and fresh.

Very disappointed as I spent quite a bit of time looking for just the ”right” place to stay in this magical area. This was a long awaited trip extensive trip through Greece (and Istanbul) and as stated, I took great pains to find just the right establishment in each place I visited. My stay in Kalambaka was to be no different. With only 2 short days, this was to be of quality, not quantity. While still be somewhat budget conscious, I was not going to settle for a bottom of the barrel ”economy room” someplace in the area. I wanted a warm and inviting room with a nice balcony to relax, have some wine, look up at the Rocks and ponder over my experiences that day after a magical and spiritual day of exploring the Monasteries. After searching and reviewing any hotels, bnb's (what have you), many the same price range, if not less, I landed on Toti. Close to everything (shops, town life, markets, scooter rental, and train station), but not ”right in the middle” of it all where it wouldn't be quite as peaceful. Had simple, but warm and inviting decor and an inviting and comfortable balcony, just as I wanted (...or so it was advertised). As I have learned over the years, I had contacted the establishment to confirm the room I was booking; size, style, amenities, balcony, view etc. Upon receiving their reply email, informing me there was no coffee pot/kettle, so I should buy breakfast (???), did have a nice balcony with meteora view, as well as advising me to look at the pictures of the room they had posted, as to show what to expect for the room I was booking. With that confirmation I went through with the booking. When I arrived and shown to the room I was in awe (and not in a good way), so much so I expressed as such pretty much the minute I stepped into the room. I was simply told it had what I booked (??). When I saw the ”balcony” I was even more so taken aback. It had a metal security door on a side wall that opened up into a ”space” that was more of an outdoor landing than a balcony. No more than 5x3 feet, a metal corrugated partition, and one plastic yard chair squeezed in. There wasn't even room for a table so they had a ”tray table” attached to the railing. While it did have a view of the Rocks, it was far from comfortable and relaxing as I had to squeeze around the door just to be able to get to the chair to sit down. Forget about being able to sit back and relax, as the only way I was able to stretch my legs was to shimmy the chair out a bit to be able to close the door (leaving me outside); which I was afraid to do without leaving a wedge in the door jamb for fear of getting locked out on said ”balcony”. (as the door, handle, lock etc were some subpar ”storage unit” looking type deal). So, after a quick debate with myself to address this with management in attempt to resolve and remedy, I didnt want to waste the minimal time I had dealing with this bs. We spent 2 nights at this delightful guesthouse. It is in a great location being in a quiet residential area but only a 5 or 10 minute walk into the town which we did each night for dinner. We had a balcony room with a view of the swimming pool and the Meteora Rocks which was fantastic. The room itself was quite large and had a fridge as well as a kettle which we really appreciated. The bathroom was an OK size but as seems to be the case in Greece, the shower was on the small size. All areas were spotlessly clean. The owners were very helpful and did a great job of explaining the monasteries and even provided a map. We particularly appreciated that they had gone to the effort to put the number of steps at each monastery on the map. Breakfast was a traditional Greek breakfast with quality ingredients including home made jams and cakes. Bread that was served was fresh which we have found is not always the case in Greece. There was free car parking just outside the guesthouse. Whilst we did not use the pool, it certainly looked very inviting and if the weather had been warmer we would have gone for a swim. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Monastiri Guesthouse and would like to thank the staff for making us feel so welcome.
