Golden Peaks Hotel & Restaurant

Comfortable rooms and very good food. Location wise very near to the market and plenty of options nearby as well. Improvement possible in the hours of geyser operation. Note that most hotels in kalimpong do not have a lift. Hotel staff helped with that and there was no issue.

Out experience in this hotel was superb. The hospitality was top-notch. The rooms were too big as compared to the price. The food was also good, and the hotel is situated very near to the market. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Excellent new hotel, very friendly owner. Amazingly nice matras. Hot shower. I loved the wooden floor also. When you stay at the roadside don’t worry: they’ve made an altar glass wall that keeps out most of the noise. Breakfast possible. Would stay here again.

Altogether it was a fantastic stay at golden peaks. All the staffs are humble and polite and always there to help in their best.

I had directly booked this hotel through their contact number on google maps and was very happy to see that they had a very transparent and honest dealing with their guests, monetary wise and service wise. I was also very satisfied with their very clean and hygienic rooms and the bengali and chinese cuisine is just too good. Highly recomended as the main road is just two minutes walk away from the hotel. Not to forget ample free car parking for the guests.

The hotel was beautiful and clean, nice views, and provided a welcome rest after our 18 day trek in Sikkim. The rooms were huge, beds very comfortable, and bathrooms spotless with large shower heads. The staff was lovely and very helpful with recommendations about Kalimpong. Breakfast was accommodated early for us as we had to catch a flight. Good eggs and toast. We didn't get a chance to try the breakfast buffet. All in all, it felt like a luxurious spot for a reasonable price.

Great spot close to town. Nice spacious rooms. Owners on top of service. Friendly staff. In a town with few eating out options, great restaurant that serves an array of great food. Do fry the Indian vegetarian fare - feels like eating at home. Parking available a great plus if you are driving on your own.
