Struttura nuova nulla da ridire in merito. Servizio : frigo bar VUOTOOO nemmeno una bottiglia d’acqua, kit cortesia bagno inesistente ☹️ciabattine neanche a parlarne. Se rimangono con questa politica misero, dopo aver preso una Camera Superior vista mare e pagato un botto, mi aspettavo qualche servizio in più. Colazione ottima.

We returned to this hotel for the 15th time. Mixed reviews lovely welcome from Lara and all the reception team with a lovely cookie. The reception area is very green. The restaurant with Marina B Christine staff welcoming as usual, and cafe were same, great food and staff. We requested room 3127 as I have mobility issues but was given room 3135, which was much further on. 4 days later, we were offered to be relocated but didn't fancy repacking cases. The room had plenty of cupboard space but no drawers. Views spoiled by cranes going over sunbathing area. The worst change was lounge bar. Lovely welcome from Dessie Deo and staff. 3 screens were too many, and they have put in couches which children saw as a play area bouncing on them, which I found totally unacceptable. The worst department was the animation team, which cranked up the music to unacceptable levels. Hope the few things get resolved soon.

Booked a last minute break through Jet 2 to this hotel in late June 2024. We also took advantage of booking a private transfer to and from the airport - which saved a lot of travel time. The hotel is classed as 4 star and that's about right - it would have to upgrade several areas to be considered a 5 star. Firstly check in - the reception is very grand and kept very clean, as is all of the hotel - staff work hard to keep it spotless. Check in was very quick and we were supplied with wristbands as we had chosen the all-inclusive option. The All-inclusive set up was explained - Breakfast is in the Buffet, lunch can be in the buffet or in the cafe bar and the same for evening meal. There is another restaurant 'Carvv' which is situated near to the main bar at the front of the hotel and if you are AI you can get a small allowance (7 euros per person ) against a meal there. As we checked in before 1pm, we were informed that rooms are not available until 3pm - but there was a room where you could leave luggage (this was staffed). We could then go and take lunch in the the buffet or the Cafe bar. Our room was ready at 3pm and unfortunately the room we were allocated - sea view superior, had half the view obscured by the room next doors concrete wall. We spoke to reception who quickly offered us another available room, with a much better, unrestricted, view! The room was a good size with a large bathroom and walk in shower. Toiletries are provided in dispensers above the sink and shower. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. TV had a good selection of channels and the wifi was good all over the hotel. There was a fridge - no mini bar and surprisingly no water in the room - although you could get bottles in the bar or café bar and take them back to the room. Sleep quality was good - but on one night we were disturbed by the fire alarm going off twice - evidently this has happened several times in the past few weeks. Meals - we had breakfast in the buffet - the food quality is very good and an excellent choice - however the hotel was near capacity and it can be difficult to find a table. It was very chaotic at breakfast time and difficult to negotiate the food counters. However we also had lunch there - which was much quieter and there was a good selection of food - which was of excellent quality. You do have to get your own drinks - both beer and wine is on tap. There is no table service of any sort - only staff clearing tables. (Many thanks to Michael the chef here - who was very proud of the food being offered). We did have our first lunch in the Café bar - but once we realised that the menu was the same on an evening, we chose to eat in the buffet on a lunchtime and the cafe bar at night time. The Café bar does have table service for both drinks and food - but it has a limited number of tables and you need to book for both the lunch and evening meal. Nice food and very kind staff. Good pools and beautiful seaview. Great “Easy going burger”, desserts, longdrinks and milkshakes in Ombre restaurant and delicious cakes in Azure restaurant. Room was fine, spacious and with nice seaview.

Great evening dining in this beautiful hotel, overlooking the sea. Service was impeccable, a warm welcome and assistance throughout the whole dinner. Food was abundant, fresh and delicious and even provided my wife with gluten free options. Highly recommended.

Check in went smoothly, we checked in an hour earlier than check in and pleased our room was ready. Welcome cookies were delicious however not much information provided not even how to get to our room, after getting a little lost trying to find our room then navigating the hotel. No maps or information provided they have a QR code you can scan but again no much to read for where gym, pool was or opening times etc... Our room was OK smaller than expected we booked a king-size room as we were staying 10 nights and thought a bit more room would be nice but it wasn't king-size as we paid for and went to reception to question this. Spoke to Alex and advised they didn't have any available. This wasn't advised when we checked in so guess they hoped we couldn't tell the difference. We later found the air con didn't work and the overhead shower wasn't connected the button just fell off the wall the room felt half finished didn't even have two bedside tables. Alex said to come back in the morning and "would see what he could do". We returned but Alex was out back and wouldn't speak to us we had a relayed message to advise he said he would only see what he could do not actually do anything... we were eventually shown one other option after not being happy with our room this one was even smaller but everything worked at least so we accepted and moved. It was a big disappointment to the start of our holiday but other guests didn't receive the room they booked either so guess it's pot luck. Positives of the hotel, Breakfast was great, plenty of options of hot and cold meats, fruit, cheese, cereal, porridge, breads and cater for gluten diets with a separate toaster for allergens. Toiletries we're great, good quality and smelt lovely. Large dispenser bottles of Crabtree brand. Plenty of sunloungers available so no need to get up early. Wi-Fi was very good, could video call and stream without much buffering and no hassle logging on. Pools were clean only ****** there are only two plus and inside one all family friendly fine but no where to relax. Pools are all full with inflatables, balks whizzing past you and people jumping/bombing in the pool. So miss a chill out spot. Think it will be better once the hotel is completed. Still plenty of building work going on. Another year till the beach area is finished. No idea if the spa has been completed was due to be open this July but no information or signage to say where it is. The lobby bar was great, it's cashless so you'll need your card if you are not All inclusive. But very nicely decorated and staff were very attentive. Big thanks to Shudra for our lovely cocktails. Not sure I'd book here again, didn't live up to other Doubletree hotels we visited. It's a good location but still finding its feet.
