The hotel has chosen wisely with their staff . Maritsa and the lovely young girl with the pony tail were really good at being attentive but unobtrusive. The boys were all good too. I wanted to bring Maritsa home to work with me !!! Really lovely stay. Thank you all for everything

Arrived very late on an evening, told we couldn’t have the private pool room we had paid for for 2 nights of our 5 night stay. Did offer half board upgrade but as we explained we had got the private pool and no half board as this is what we wanted. Tried to speak to the manager for 2 days and apparently never appeared. Have taken this further and will be getting some money back. It meant our first 2 days on holiday were spent making calls back and forth to try and solve the problem. Saw this happen to other couples whilst here so if you book a private pool room don’t expect to get one. On our first night in the private pool room we saw two large cockroaches running across the floor in the bedroom, called reception who just came and sprayed bug spray so for the rest of our holiday we were on edge. The shower in this room was also very low pressure and leaked all over the bedroom. The private pool is lovely and quite big if you manage to get it. The staff are also lovely.

The Hotel is well presented and situated outside Faliraki and only a 15-20 minute walk to the Marina, so it's quiet and relaxing. There is a supermarket about five minutes walk away, two Sports Bars (Thomas's) a bit further away if you want televised sport and an excellent bakery (Sarikas Patisserie) close by on the way to the Harbour and beach. The Hotel is kept very clean throughout and the staff always very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them .They all worked very well together as a team to deliver a relaxing experience. The guests for our stay were mixed age groups and nationalities and this worked well. It's a great place to decompress, the pool area has sufficient loungers, seats, four poster beds and a jacuzzi as well as the pool , none are heated but that's not a bad thing. We had two nights entertainment, a Greek evening including a band and dancers, and a solo saxophone/clarinet player. Both acts were excellent musicians. Another night's entertainment was cancelled due to rain. We were half board the food is well presented, lots of it, and the quality good, delivered quickly by staff who were always on point. The only thing I'd ask for is coffee machine at breakfast was a bit tired, would it be possible to serve coffee at the table ? The hotel offers tours, to Lindos which is an excellent place to visit, with a wonderful cove at St Pauls Bay and an Acropolis overlooking the town, entry is 12 Euros but its worth it) There are lots of good places to eat. .I'd get the public bus to Lindos they keep a timetable at reception, or do the organised tour as a night trip. The Lindos day trip advertised at the hotel includes the Seven Springs, which I wouldn't recommend as there is a distinct lack of water and lots of obstacles to get the top springs. Its easy to catch the local bus (number 24, timetable at reception) to Rhodes Old Town (cost 5 Euros return) and explore it yourself. The Tourist information centre is by the docks a long way from the public bus station. Its a real maze of streets bars and shops within the city walls. Boat trips are available from Falaraki Harbour that visit two or three coves with snorkelling, drinks and food all options. We didn't, but spoke to several guests who did. There are so many boats in the harbour they will even do bespoke dusk tours if that's what you want. We also went to Symi a beautiful island about a 75 minute boat trip from Rhodes which included a trip to the cove at Paramitis to visit the monastery and see two resident turtles in the harbour. We hired a motorbike and a Quad bike from City Club (Faliraki) through the Hotel, they come and collect you and drop you back to the hotel. Its a great way of exploring the Western side of the island which has spectacular scenery and sparsely populated with little traffic. From the hotel staff, I'd like to thank Georgia and Aggeliki on reception for answering all my many questions about the island, Krallis the res

Myself and my partner visited Aloe hotel from 28th May and will leave tomorrow on 7th June 2024. We stayed in a nice little room that had a nice bed, balcony and bathroom. There were rooms with private pools that look amazing, but we didn’t feel that we needed one since we were going to be out of the hotel on a lot of the days. Positives of the place: The staff are really friendly and they work hard to give you a great experience at their hotel. Some of our best memories from our holidays are our interactions with the staff from the hotel. As British people, we are rubbish at learning other languages but they all spoke English as best as they could and our communication with the staff was effective. We had plenty of pleasant conversations with the receptionists about what we’d done in the day and they were very down to earth. They helped us very much with our travelling around the island as they booked us taxis to get to our destinations. The staff around the pool were very friendly and we liked them all. They were so good and we will miss them. The food at the restaurant was good. We enjoyed all of our meals there. It was a safe and good option if we didn’t fancy going out to eat. The pool and jacuzzi were great because it was very hot weather when we went. The jacuzzi wasn’t actually doing it’s bubbly thing at all when we were there. But we didn’t care because we were more concerned about just using it to cool down from the heat. The sun beds were so comfy! The breakfast was great. I had it every day I was there and there were no issues. Negatives The only thing I wish that could change about the hotel (and this goes for all hotels because it happens at every place we go to) is that I wish there was a policy where you are not allowed to reserve sun beds by just putting your towel on them. No one wants to find themselves in conflict over sun beds with other hotel users because it’s a silly thing to bicker about. We noticed that some people would leave their towels on their sun beds and then leave the hotel for a few hours and then inevitably go back to their reserved sun beds when they got back when really, they should have just removed their towels when they left to make it fair for other hotel users. However, this wasn’t much of a big issue because there was only one day that we had in our time in Rhodes were we specifically planned to just stay by the pool and we eventually found some free sunbeds to use. Overall, this place deserves its 5-star review that I have given it and I would recommend it to others who want a nice relaxing holiday to Rhodes. Thank you Aloe hotel for our lovey experience!

Me and my partner went in late may/early June. The rooms are lovely, well ventilated and very modern. The service at night was outstanding and we were always properly served and looked after. We chose the half board option, which gave us a choice of appetiser, starter, main and desert EACH every night. The food was amazing and lots of options in the morning and evening. All round amazing trip.

Just back home from an absolutely wonderful week at the Aloe Hotel. We were delighted to have a good sized room with a private pool backing onto the main pool area. The staff at Reception, at the Restaurant and Bar as well as Cleaning staff were all so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They are a credit to the hotel. Even in the shops around Faliraki, everybody was so pleasant and friendly. It was quiet and very relaxing and would return here. We would definitely recommend a stay here. Probably, the only negative to our Greek experience, for which we cannot hold the hotel responsible for to be fair, were the dreaded mosquitos, and the many bites we received. Karen & Ray (Ireland)

On arrival, we checked in to the hotel and were given keys to our room to which we discovered they were nothing like the pictures online. The bathroom was dirty, the mirrors were chipped and cracked and the room was very dingy . We had booked a “sea view” room and were extremely disappointed when we could only see the hotel car park. So immediately displeased, we went down to reception to ask for a new room or at least something like the pictures. The lady on reception, Aggeliki, was extremely rude and passive aggressive when I confronted her about the issue. Her excuse for the cracked mirrors was that “some mirrors just come like that”. After arguing for 10 minutes after such a long flight and tired, we were given an alternative room that we just took as we were exhausted and couldn’t be bothered with the hassle. The room was still very basic and nothing like the pictures. For example, the view only overlooked the rest of the hotel, the bed and pillows were rock solid and the room was infested with ants. However, we continued on with the holiday after already seeing how stubborn the staff were and that we would not get anywhere with complaining. When we went to the buffet for breakfast the next morning, we were surprised to see how simple the food was. There were a lot of flies around, the food was cold, and the bacon resembled ham. When we expected fresh fruit for breakfast and were instead served dry, outdated-looking canned fruit, we were largely let down. The cake, bread, and donuts were also really solid and stale. Their hesitation and security on towels was another thing we found to be really odd. We were informed that we needed to provide our room number and ask for towels at reception. Up until the second day, when the receptionist advised us to get a towel without asking, I complied with this requirement. When I went to get a towel the next day, a different receptionist told me that I couldn't just take a towel without asking, which made us feel like young children. She came across as really rude about this and was by no means polite about it.Their hesitation and security on towels was another thing we found to be really odd The hotel is 100% not a 4 star, I would not recommend and we will not be returning.

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the main ***** and only a 5 minute walk to Thomas’ Sports Bar and to Mike’s Bar. Also there are a couple of supermarkets very close by. We had private pool room which was absolutely lovely. The bathrobes and slippers were a great touch as well as the mini fridge. The staff were attentive and friendly. The seafood pasta at lunch time was delicious as well as the cheeseburger! I can’t wait to come back again and I will definitely recommend this hotel to my clients. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

We had eagerly anticipated a luxurious and relaxing getaway to Faliraki, Rhodes, having invested in a Premium Double Private Pool room, the highest-tier accommodation available. Regrettably, our experience was far from satisfactory, and we felt that the premium price we paid was not commensurate with the quality of service we received. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we encountered a series of distressing incidents that significantly tarnished our holiday. Despite booking Premium rooms, we were met with rude and discriminatory treatment from the hotel manager, who refused to serve us in the restaurant, claiming that we could not sit in the restaurant with items we had purchased from the town, and made us feel unwelcome. This behaviour was not only distressing but also deeply disrespectful, especially considering the premium status of our accommodations. One morning, my partner did not feel well enough to come upstairs for breakfast and I went to the buffet and asked if I could bring breakfast to my partner and also explained his circumstances. However, they refused and made no effort to accommodate him in any way. The only suggestion they came up with was that I could take food from the buffet to my partner on a small napkin, which I refused that was not only derogatory, but also inappropriate for guests who have chosen to invest in their hotel. We also noticed that when asking for a cup of cups of ice anonymously, we were provided with full cups of ice, as requested. However, when we went to the bar and asked for the same order in person we were given 1, or 2 if we were lucky, ice cubes in our cup. I believe this was a direct display of passive aggression, as 1-2 cubes of ice would not suffice while experiencing the temperature at the time of 25°C and above. Furthermore, throughout our stay, we were dismayed by the lack of essential information provided by both the hotel. We were blindsided by the “hot tub” as listed on various booking websites, being freezing cold, the limited availability of room service, information purposely omitted by both Aloe Hotel, and the frequent disruptions to the water supply. These oversights left us feeling frustrated and disheartened, as they directly impacted our ability to enjoy the premium amenities we had paid for. Room service is during the hours of the day when you are most likely to be out in the town. Additionally, the hotel's maintenance issues were alarming and unacceptable. The pool, a feature we had looked forward to enjoying, became muddy and murky following a water supply disruption, rendering it unusable. Moreover, our Premium room was infested with ants, which detracted from our comfort and overall enjoyment of the accommodation. Ants filled our sink 24/7 and was not pleasant. Breakfast is cold and stale. The “bacon” seemed more like wanted ham slices. There were flies around the breakfast buffet which I had seen mentioned in reviews from years ago, meaning they have yet to fix this is
