Hotel berhampiran AEON(MORINOSATO), Kanazawa

I’m here now and want to write about my experience as it’s happening. I’m blown away at this property. The beauty, the people, the quiet…except for the waterfall which you hear if you’re outside. I have a balcony room. The AC is splendid! There’s a tub inside the large shower area. The shower water is a little weaker than I normally care for, but YMMV. Breakfast is a huge buffet with very nice options, all Japanese and all high quality. Both mornings, I’ve been served an amuse. Tonight I’ll try dinner for the first time here, and no doubt it’ll be delicious. If you opt out of housekeeping, they leave you a big bag of two each large towels, hand towels and bath towels. Housekeeping is as quiet as a church mouse. I arrived at the Kanazawa train station, and even though I knew that there would be a shuttle bus, and which side to exit from, I didn’t know which one was mine. This information is not on the website, so I’ll tell you that you exit on the west side, and upon exiting, turn to the right, where the group bus waiting area is. And watch for a bus that is white with an orange *****e on the front. One other word of caution. There are two hotels that are named the same. Just because you see the hotel name on the outside, that may not be yours. Do you want to be sure that the driver and the accompanying guide know that the one you want is on this particular street. It’s a really new hotel, as it’s only been open for about a year. I upgraded and got the lounge access and that’s been totally worth it! The afternoon suites are so stunningly gorgeous and there’s a cocktail hour also in the afternoon, but I think it’s really like three or four hours long. The staff speaks their English, but have your Google translate ready for words that they may not automatically know. However, I will say they are extremely eager to understand and please you. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Very good hotel service, quite good location to the park and Kanazawa Castle quite walking distance. However, there are not many places to eat around the hotel, you have to walk about 300 m. the breakfast is delicious and extraordinary. Very close to the park which is beautiful in autumn. Rate for food is 5/5, delicious.

This hotel is very new, it opened just in February of 2020. I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very clean. Breakfast was very good, but only japanese style. I stayed in the superior twin room on the 9th floor and it was a nice and big room. The TV is very big, but and this is the only point is criticize, offers only japanese channels. The location is also very good, all Kanazawa attractions in walking distance. You can also easily walk from the station, about 15 minutes. Overall; a really nice hotel and I would chose them again for a stay.

Enjoyed the location and comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable despite being on the floor. All attractions are within walking distance and easy access to Kanazawa station. 10 seconds to omicho market which makes it easy to sample local delicacies everyday 👍👍👍

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable onsen hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the attentive staff who kindly assisted with my luggage. The attention to detail was evident right from the start as I was asked to remove my shoes before stepping onto the pristine premises. As someone who appreciates the therapeutic benefits of onsen bathing, I was delighted to find that this hotel truly excels in providing an exceptional onsen experience. The facilities were top-notch, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating soak that left me feeling completely refreshed. Furthermore, the breakfast spread offered an abundance of delicious seafood options, providing a culinary delight that perfectly complemented the tranquil ambiance of the hotel. Overall, my stay at this onsen hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I am already eagerly looking forward to my next visit. It's truly a gem worth returning to time and time again! 🌸

This feels like.5-star hotel but charges at a 4-star hotel price. The room is quite spacious as they have an additional window bay sofa and also a work-desk station beside the queen-sized bed. The room and it’s attached toilet bath are new and clean and everything works. They even have an in-built de mister in their bathroom mirror! The hotel staffs are very helpful, though their speak little English. An added bonus is the free public unisex Onsen baths (separate male and female in L3 and L2 respectively), which I used every night to relieve my aching muscles after a whole day out. Another plus point is it’s location near the Kanazawa station (almost fully assessable via an underground passageway from station to hotel) and it’s near to 7-11, major shopping malls and eateries around Nagoya station too. I would highly recommend this place by paying a slightly higher premium for an unforgettable accommodation experience in Kanazawa!

ビジネスで利用しましたが、お部屋がとてもきれいで広く快適に過ごせました。室内のドライヤーもパナソニックのナノケアだったことや、サロニアのアイロンやコテ、ドライヤーが無料で貸し出しできるのは女性にとってとても良いと思いました。

My stay at Dormy Inn Kanazawa was almost the end of the vacation started from Nagano, Hakuba, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Kurobe Gorge. Believe me that staying at this hotel is money worth spent. Dormy Inn usually are near train station but away from noisy traffic, with nice indoor and outdoor Onsen at rooftop together with FREE Soba for supper (9.30-11pm). However, at Kanazawa only (maybe) they provide complimentary Happy Hour from 7-9pm with free flow of red & white wine, beer and party nut and cracker mix. So you probably want to stay until 9.30pm to continue with Free Soba Supper. Sounds good right? Rooms are very clean, staff are friendly. One thing I like about Dormy Inn is they have ice cube for free at the machine. So you can get cheap and nice sake or beer from stores nearby to fix your own drink. Another plus point is free usage of laundry machine and detergent. You only pay for the dryer. I highly recommend Dormy Inn to everyone visiting Japan.

This hotel seems like it has lost its glory. The pictures make it seem like a nice view is guaranteed, but the lobby (where the photos are taken from) is on the top floor. Also, the cooling function of the airconditioning is turned off, meaning you must open the window at night - a nightmare given the trains passing by. The entrance is also in a back alley and not that close to the station as it seems. I think there are much better hotels in Kanazawa.

Room was bigger than we expected. Would love to go back again in near future. It was located near to station and station itself have many food stores and restaurants!
