Hotel berhampiran Jimyoun- Hasu Temple, Kanazawa

Room was bigger than we expected. Would love to go back again in near future. It was located near to station and station itself have many food stores and restaurants!

Enjoyed the location and comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable despite being on the floor. All attractions are within walking distance and easy access to Kanazawa station. 10 seconds to omicho market which makes it easy to sample local delicacies everyday 👍👍👍

Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and very friendly staff. We chose Nikko Kanazawa because of its proximity to the train station. Hotel Nikko is actually Kanazawa’s tallest building, designed by a Japanese-French team. Rooms located on 21st-25th floors have beautiful views. Nikko is connected to the Higashi ( eastern) side of the station by the underground passageway through the Porter building. Our room at the 21st floor was large, clean and modern with a fantastic view over the city towards the Sea of Japan. It was very relaxing at the end of the day to sit in arm chairs and watch the sunset. Service was excellent. We found a good restaurant on the sixth floor of the Forus shopping center adjacent to the train station (on the right if you look at the eastern entrance to the station through the giant Torii gate). The name is Morimorizushi Kanazawa Ekimae-ten (sushi), you can't miss it - there will be people on the benches waiting outside. The line goes fast, just don't forget to take your ticket at the entrance. This hi-tech kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi joint is a fantastic place for excellent sushi at reasonable price. It is only 4-5 min. from Hotel Nikko and on rainy day you can reach it by the underground passage. We liked Hotel Nikko and would stay here again.

I’m here now and want to write about my experience as it’s happening. I’m blown away at this property. The beauty, the people, the quiet…except for the waterfall which you hear if you’re outside. I have a balcony room. The AC is splendid! There’s a tub inside the large shower area. The shower water is a little weaker than I normally care for, but YMMV. Breakfast is a huge buffet with very nice options, all Japanese and all high quality. Both mornings, I’ve been served an amuse. Tonight I’ll try dinner for the first time here, and no doubt it’ll be delicious. If you opt out of housekeeping, they leave you a big bag of two each large towels, hand towels and bath towels. Housekeeping is as quiet as a church mouse. I arrived at the Kanazawa train station, and even though I knew that there would be a shuttle bus, and which side to exit from, I didn’t know which one was mine. This information is not on the website, so I’ll tell you that you exit on the west side, and upon exiting, turn to the right, where the group bus waiting area is. And watch for a bus that is white with an orange *****e on the front. One other word of caution. There are two hotels that are named the same. Just because you see the hotel name on the outside, that may not be yours. Do you want to be sure that the driver and the accompanying guide know that the one you want is on this particular street. It’s a really new hotel, as it’s only been open for about a year. I upgraded and got the lounge access and that’s been totally worth it! The afternoon suites are so stunningly gorgeous and there’s a cocktail hour also in the afternoon, but I think it’s really like three or four hours long. The staff speaks their English, but have your Google translate ready for words that they may not automatically know. However, I will say they are extremely eager to understand and please you. I highly recommend this hotel!!

This feels like.5-star hotel but charges at a 4-star hotel price. The room is quite spacious as they have an additional window bay sofa and also a work-desk station beside the queen-sized bed. The room and it’s attached toilet bath are new and clean and everything works. They even have an in-built de mister in their bathroom mirror! The hotel staffs are very helpful, though their speak little English. An added bonus is the free public unisex Onsen baths (separate male and female in L3 and L2 respectively), which I used every night to relieve my aching muscles after a whole day out. Another plus point is it’s location near the Kanazawa station (almost fully assessable via an underground passageway from station to hotel) and it’s near to 7-11, major shopping malls and eateries around Nagoya station too. I would highly recommend this place by paying a slightly higher premium for an unforgettable accommodation experience in Kanazawa!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable onsen hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the attentive staff who kindly assisted with my luggage. The attention to detail was evident right from the start as I was asked to remove my shoes before stepping onto the pristine premises. As someone who appreciates the therapeutic benefits of onsen bathing, I was delighted to find that this hotel truly excels in providing an exceptional onsen experience. The facilities were top-notch, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating soak that left me feeling completely refreshed. Furthermore, the breakfast spread offered an abundance of delicious seafood options, providing a culinary delight that perfectly complemented the tranquil ambiance of the hotel. Overall, my stay at this onsen hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I am already eagerly looking forward to my next visit. It's truly a gem worth returning to time and time again! 🌸

I think this hotel is out of my expectations and it deserves a comment. The location is nearby the train station. Take around 5mins to get to shopping mall and train station. Staff are friendly and their English is quite well-spoken. The room is clean and new. There’s a massage chair inside. Bathroom is spacious with bath tub and shower base. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is very new, it opened just in February of 2020. I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very clean. Breakfast was very good, but only japanese style. I stayed in the superior twin room on the 9th floor and it was a nice and big room. The TV is very big, but and this is the only point is criticize, offers only japanese channels. The location is also very good, all Kanazawa attractions in walking distance. You can also easily walk from the station, about 15 minutes. Overall; a really nice hotel and I would chose them again for a stay.

Very good hotel service, quite good location to the park and Kanazawa Castle quite walking distance. However, there are not many places to eat around the hotel, you have to walk about 300 m. the breakfast is delicious and extraordinary. Very close to the park which is beautiful in autumn. Rate for food is 5/5, delicious.

Grass service! Friendly welcome staff. Unlimited free Saki after 3pm. Stayed there during the new year. And experienced earthquake on January 1st 2024. Staff was very professional about it. And evacuated everyone fast. Hotel did not collapse! :)
