Very nice view, pet friendly , the hotel is by the river so nice picturesque. Good breakfast options. For vegan the restaurant went out of the way to make vegan meals which was not in the menu. Very friendly staff

I usually stay in international business hotels but with none obviously available in Kanchanaburi, we read TA reviews and chose Chez Bure. What a great hidden gem! Simple but effective decor, the room was perfect for a one night stay with hot water and a clean comfy bed. The service was lovely, with the team members always happy and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so generous. Free home made muffins, cookies and even snacks in the room! Breakfast was simple but filled a hole and was perfect. One final things I wish to highlight was how clean the room and all areas were. Better than some hotels I stay at! Overall highly recommended for a short stay.

Stayed in Nov 2022 in a standard room. Pros: -bed is medium firmness but comfortable -pillow is fine too -2 free glass bottles of water -breakfast not bad with ham, eggs, rice porridge, noodles, rice, salad, bread and toast, sausage, fruits and pancake. the lady here while english not perfect helped me navigate some food intolerances i had, so my thanks to her. -swimming pool looked nice and the gardens were relaxing. -hand soap bar provided. -1 toilet paper roll and shower gel and shampoo is provided. -shower is nice once it gets started. -towels for shower and towels for swimming pool is provided in the room. -room safe, kettle, tea and coffee and a small fridge is provided. -in a good location with some food pretty much across the road and 7-11 further down the road. -staff are friendly and courteous -wifi is good -overall rating 4.25/5 would recommend Cons: -no tissue box provided -bathroom sink is low -the hot water of the shower takes a while to stabilise.

I made a mistake and booked the River Kwai Hotel instead of the Glory River Kwai one. We eventually arrived at the hotel I booked and just to be clear, it has nothing to do with the river. It's not even near. Sandwiched in between a club and a rather suspicious massage parlour 😁 Anyway, the rooms are large, but rather old. The bed was okay, the pillows really comfortable. Curtains had to be fastened with a paperclip, hooks were missing. Air-conditioning worked very well, not blowing on your face and the temperature was well adjustable. But.... The bathroom!!!! That was really, really awful. Mould everywhere, yellow bathtub that used to be white, corroded taps, a shower curtain hanging in the bath taht had seen cleaner days. Stains of leakages all over the ceiling. In our friend's room the person above took a shower and all the water came splashing down in her bath. I even took pictures so you can see I'm not exaggerating. Breakfast was okay, egg station and toast, instant coffee or tea. The pool is nice.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel 3 jours et avons apprécié la gentillesse de l'accueil, la propreté des lieux, des chambres. La nôtre était l'une des plus spacieuses de notre séjour, avec banquette (lit d'appoint je suppose) équipée d'un grand frigo congélateur ce qui est rarissime. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était inclus, pour ma part rien à redire, à part le café soluble.... choix de fruits et légumes, plats thaï, œufs au plat, jus de fruits (non frais) Gros avantage: cet hôtel est situé à 10mn à pied du night market et de la gare routière. C'est depuis cette gare que nous avons pris le bus pour visiter le parc national d'Erawak et ses célèbres cascades. Nous avons commandé un taxi (songathew) pour visiter le pont de la riviere Kwai

Great little budget hotel next to railway & Bridge over the river Kwai with spacious rooms. Great location to catch the train (we went on Sunday to Erawan waterfall by chance at 10am) The journey was fantastic over death railway, well worth the trip just for that as the upper tiers of the waterfall were closed due to covid one of the national park workers told us. The hotel was a bit dated but spotlessly clean everywhere, warm water and good shower & pressure. Clean towels everyday & bed linen changed after 2 nights! The bed & pillows were really comfortable too. Waters & Herbal tea & coffee provided every day but would have been nice to have black teabag in room. Wi-Fi a bit slow but we knew that before we came however we weren’t here to sit on the iPhone all day😁 Breakfast was nice & hot and you could choose more than 1 menu for each person. Nice short stay in good location and I would recommend. Plenty of bars/restaurants at other end of the road with cheap taxi fare (under 100THB for a grab taxi) Nice floating restaurant on the river less than 2 mins walk right by the bridge. Couldn’t take pic of the large bed as I have disturbed it.

We recently spent two nights at U inchantree. The property has a beautiful location right on the river Kwai with beautiful views and thoughtfully appointed grounds. The restaurant was excellent for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service was excellent and the food presentation was fantastic. The rooms were clean and lovely. We also utilized their massage services and it was top notch! What really makes U Inchantree stand out is the friendly employees and excellent service. Gigi and Big went out of their way to make our stay memorable. They were fantastic and every employee was courteous and friendly. I would definitely recommend U Inchantree for your next stay in Kanchanaburi!

Just an all round nice place to stay. The views were amazing from our balcony and the rooms were on the smaller side but were clean and well air conditioned (needed for the 37°C heat). The pool was really refreshing and the location overlooks the river Kwai, just off a main road full of restaurants and bars which can sometimes be a bit noisy while trying to get asleep but nothing too bad. We also had a few little lizard friends that managed to bunk into our room without paying. None we’re very big but this could be a turn off for some. It was fairly difficult to find people who actually worked there, both when checking in and out, but we enjoyed the place and would gladly stay again.
