I made a mistake and booked the River Kwai Hotel instead of the Glory River Kwai one. We eventually arrived at the hotel I booked and just to be clear, it has nothing to do with the river. It's not even near. Sandwiched in between a club and a rather suspicious massage parlour 😁 Anyway, the rooms are large, but rather old. The bed was okay, the pillows really comfortable. Curtains had to be fastened with a paperclip, hooks were missing. Air-conditioning worked very well, not blowing on your face and the temperature was well adjustable. But.... The bathroom!!!! That was really, really awful. Mould everywhere, yellow bathtub that used to be white, corroded taps, a shower curtain hanging in the bath taht had seen cleaner days. Stains of leakages all over the ceiling. In our friend's room the person above took a shower and all the water came splashing down in her bath. I even took pictures so you can see I'm not exaggerating. Breakfast was okay, egg station and toast, instant coffee or tea. The pool is nice.

Hotel and room was clean but the hotel room was a bit too expensive for what it basically was. Paid a little less for another hotel room nearby earlier which was way more luxurious and modern. Anyway, nice place.

The attractions that we are impressed with and have been able to experience the atmosphere. Is Mida Hotel is a luxury beach hotel available. The interior of the room is decorated in a simple modern style that looks comfortable and the bathroom is clean and has all the amenities. There is a pool to play. And there are food arranged in a buffet style. There are both local food to food in a 5 star hotel I had the opportunity to travel because my sister was an employee in Mida Company. Me and my family are very impressed with that place. Good service, good conversation and natural Phil.

Booked hotel for a few days when visiting River Kwai, hotel is a few kms outside Kanchanaburi and hotel provides a shuttle into town twice a day, it is difficult to get a GRAB taxi though. Rooms are massive and beds really comfortable although a little dated. Tea coffee and water provided. Breakfast which was included was fantastic. Hotel is very peaceful and backs onto the River Kwai. The pool is fantastic Had evening meal twice , food was really good albeit more expensive than in the town Great location though for visiting River Kwai bridge and museum

Tellement propre que l on mangerait par terre. Très confortable. Chambre bien agencée. Bonne climatisation. Jacuzzi. Petit mais suffisant. Petit balcon pour faire sécher son linge. Je recommande vivement

The setting with grounds flowing down to the river is idyllic. The hotel itself is quite grand at first blush, but lack of maintenance and limited housekeeping soon becomes noticeable. Our room was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool and the river. Lack of a screen door meant you had to run the AC and keep the door closed to keep out mosquitos. Annoyingly out room was half a step up from the hallway and the large bathroom was half a step down. A bit of a tripping hazard and not suitable for a wheelchair user or any one with any mobility limitations. 2 beds had been pushed together to create a double but that meant the headboards did not line up with the bed or the single bed side table. Beds were comfortable, AC and internet worked fine. The whole place was passably clean but plenty of dust and insect casing were present on higher walls and surfaces. Breakfast was ok not great. Coffee was a little odd. Beautiful gardens but not convenient to town. Neigbouring property throws loud parties so noise could be an issue. Towels were threadbare but sheets were nice. We left housekeeping a tip anyway figuring people had been hard up during Covid. No nearby dining so captive audience situation at dinner as town is hard to get to. The rice barge dining room floating on the river was delightful as was the pool. Quite a lot of contradictory experiences in a single stay but could be splendid - having said that rates were fairly inexpensive.

Was really nice…. a long time ago? This was a very strange experience. The Comsaed appears that it was once a bustling and lively resort, with amenities for many guests, stalls for vendors to set up, bars located throughout the resort property, lovely pool…but aside from one other family, another couple, the staff, and several monitor lizards walking about, it was deserted! There were no vendors or bartenders at the empty bar areas, hardly any guests. Maybe it was the off-season? It was odd. The room was clean (though dated), the staff was accommodating and friendly, the food was decent, the pool was clean and refreshing in a lovely setting. Just strange to be in a big resort with hardly a soul.

Fallingwater Poolvilla #พูลวิลล่าน้ำตก สุดหรูที่กาญจนบุรีกัน บอกเลยว่าที่นี่เป็นอีกหนึ่งที่พักที่ปังสุดๆ ดีเทลการตกแต่งเก๋ๆ สุดครีเอท ที่ได้นำเอาความเป็นเมืองกาญจนบุรีเข้ามาใช้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นน้ำตก ภูเขาหินจำลอง หมอนลายหิน และห้องพักที่จำลองมาจากถ้ำ มีมุมถ่ายรูปสวยๆเยอะมากกก . สำหรับ Fallingwater Poolvilla เป็นห้องพักแบบพูลวิลล่า ขนาด 2 ห้องนอน 3 ห้องน้ำ 1ห้องนั่งเล่นและ1ห้องครัว สามารถเข้าพักได้ 4-5 คน ภายในห้องพักคือกว้างขวางมากๆ ตัวห้องพักมีขนาด 3 ชั้นแบ่งเป็นชั้นบน ชั้นกลางและชั้นล่าง 👉ชั้นแรกเมื่อเราเข้ามาจะเป็นชั้นกลาง เป็นโซนห้องครัว ที่มีทั้งไมโครเวฟ เครื่องชงกาแฟ และมินิบาร์แบบแน่นๆ ถัดมาจะเป็นโซนห้องนั่งเล่น มีโซฟาให้นั่งชิลๆมองวิวแม่น้ำแควผ่านกระจกบานใหญ่ได้แบบ 180 องศาเลย 👉ชั้นบนจะเป็นโซนห้องนอนวิวแม่น้ำ มีระเบียงเล็กๆ มีห้องน้ำในตัว มีห้องแต่งตัวแบบ Walk In Closet มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน ตรงบันไดทางขึ้นมีอ่างจากุชชี่ให้แช่ตัว และยังมีทางออกไปนั่งเล่นน้ำ แช่ตัวในน้ำตกจำลองได้ด้วย 👉ส่วนชั้นล่างจะเป็นชั้นใต้ดินซึ่งเป็นห้องนอนที่ 2 ออกแบบมาให้เหมือนกับเราเดินลงไปในถ้ำ แต่บอกก่อนว่าภายในห้องนอนจะไม่อึดอัดนะ เพราะเค้ามีกระจกบานใหญ่ มองเห็นวิวสวน ให้ความรู้สึกโปร่งโล่งสบาย ภายในห้องจะมีห้องน้ำในตัว มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครันเช่นกัน

I’m maybe above average interested in history and traveling. When traveling I prefer good quality. And this place was far above expectations. And for vegan travelers, just tell and they will prepare a fantastic dish for you. The design was great. Both the bungalow and common areas. The staff is amazing, you feel welcome before you arrived and just getting better. Private swimming pool and the view fantastic. I was most impressed with the quality in all steps, food, staff, location. A small high end hotel 12 bungalows, for families and couples, yes for all Thank you for having me as your guest.
