Hotel berhampiran Baggersee Streitköpfle, Karlsruhe

Ontvangst, receptie en restaurant zien er keurig uit! Prijs van de kamer was ook prima. Maar de kamer was vies. Haren op bed en sanitair niet goed schoongemaakt. We kregen een nieuwe kamer aangeboden, maar die had hetzelfde probleem. De volgende kamer ook, maar die hebben we maar geaccepteerd omdat het al laat was. De reden voor alsnog drie sterren is voor de dame die ons hielp en het ook super vervelend vond. Hele vriendelijke en gast gerichte dame! Alleen het hotel moet de basis van een hotel wel geregeld hebben!

Wir waren von Freitag bis Sonntag wegen eines Konzertes in Karlsruhe und hatten wenig Ansprüche an ein Hotel. Zunächst einmal das Gute: das Frühstück war gut und wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Jedoch unser Zimmer war eine Zumutung: Schmierige Wände und eine durch Stockflecken verunstaltete Holzdecke. Das Bad war aber sauber & die Matratzen gut, daher sind wir geblieben, zumal die meisten Hotels ausgebucht waren. Der Zustand des Zimmers sei bekannt, wurde uns mitgeteilt. Sehr schade, da wir auch sehr früh gebucht hatten.

Am Vortag eröffnetes Hotel daher an der ein oder anderen Ecke noch Bauatmosphäre, besonders draußen. Lage in unattraktivem Gewerbe-Mischgebiet, mit Auto gut zu erreichen, zur nächsten Straßenbahn sind es ca. 300m. Die Zimmer und das Hotel sind modern und chic, das Frühstück hat uns auch in der Art der Präsentation und bez. der Auswahl gefallen. In dem gebuchten Hipster Studio kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank, praktisch sind auch Bluetooth-Lautsprecher für das Smartphone. Allerdings hat das Hipster Studio sicher nicht die aufgeführten 32qm! Überwiegend freundliches Personal. Zusammenfassend hat es uns gut gefallen, aktuell auch gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

The hotel is located near a tram line, very close to the city with many restaurant around. It has parking underground (not a cheap one but if you have car and hard to get parking on the street, it is a big help. Clean and cosy hotel. Surprisingly nice breakfast food/breakfast area. it is under renovation and some floors just refresh and some not.

I was originally staying at another hotel for the duration of my holiday to visit some friends in Karlsruhe, but ended up getting the dates mixed and needed an extra night at a hotel. The price for the one night stay I had was really affordable, and it was not a long way from my friends. Even if the stay was only for one night, the hotel and the room itself was really nice! The staff was nice and helpful as well, which made my check-in and check-out very pleasant! The area was nice and quiet, and I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel considering it was only for one night!

Hotel is closely located to the Messe Karlsruhe and easily accessible by public transportation. The look and feel of the hotel is modern in overall and is nicely done (floral-themed), the rooms clean and nicely furnished. Overall nice stay. However, two things we weren’t pleased about and also heard other people complain about: This hotel is not accepting any cash but cards only. For guests from abroad, even small bills needed to be paid with card and commission usually apply for each transaction. Totally get the thinking of the cards-only policy but it definitely is not guests-friendly at all. The other thing is that we forgot to bring our travel adapter. Not the first time but in all previous hotel, we have also been able to borrow one from the reception. From a hotel which is located closest to a venue like the Messe Karlsruhe and with almost 160 rooms, we would’ve expected that they are prepared with a few travel adapter. Fact is: they have not a single one. As said: overall nice stay and we would probably book again, if we’re going to visit the Messe Karlsruhe but otherwise, we would definitely look for another hotel.

I have chosen Radisson Blu based on my many experiences with the hotel chain I gained in USA before pandemic, boy was I wrong to chose them in Karlsruhe. The room was clean and as on the photos, in order and ready to be used - that's about it. At the arrival I have informed the receptionist we don't have a reservation but that I could do it online right away, she promptly offered to do it herself, when I asked about the price difference I have been told ''it should be more or less the same''. Her booking was 151 euros, the online was 71 euros.. so I booked online with my phone right in front of her. We needed to leave early in the morning so we were happy to learn the breakfast is 6.30am so we confirmed our attendance. When we presented ourselves at the breakfast 6.30am sharp we have been told there was an error and it will be served later. So we waited, when we were allowed to access the breakfast the staff lady realized our room number have not been charged for the breakfast, we offered to pay at the check out as the wallet was in the room upstairs, unfortunately the lady would not bend the rule and insist on the payment before consumption. Early morning, with a hungry 7yo, after waiting already because of wrong information provided, that's not what you want to hear. Fast forward, we are about to leave just to learn the parking was not part of the deal - 17euros from 9pm to 7.30am. Unfortunately the whole experience was not over, my daughter forgot her stuffed animal in the room, when I called the receptionist asking for options on how to get it (we were hours of driving away) I have been told they are ok to hand it over to a currier if I organize one. I am genuinely asking myself if Radisson Blu is still in hospitality business, the complete lack of focus or consideration of client's needs is just striking. I have provided my review to the Radisson Blu directly using the platform I booked with, they came back with automatic answer telling me they have ''taken care'' of the issues signed. I won't come back and I won't recommend.

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt für Wellness und Erholung. Sauna Erlebnis und Badelandschaft sehr gut. Die Peeling‘s und Getränke runden das ganze Erlebnis ab . Das Frühstück und Abendessen ist sehr lecker. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist sehr Vielfältig. Die S-Bahn stellt keine Lärmbelästigung dar. Personal war zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Wenn man sich erholen möchte und ein erholsames Wellness Erlebnis sucht ist es hier perfekt. Qualitativ gut und sauber.

Seit 15 Jahren ( oder mehr? ) sind wir Gäste in diesem Hotel. Auch für diesen August haben wir bereist am 31.12 reserviert mit dem wichtigsten Hinweis : Lage wie immer nach hinten ruhig. Kaum zu glauben, das hat diesmal nicht funktioniert, trotz so frühzeitigem Hinweis. Man war zwar bemüht etwas vor Ort zu ändern, aber nicht möglich ( es kann natürlich keinem anderen Gast ein Umzug zugemutet werden, aufgrund Fehler der Rezeption und / oder Reservierungsabteilung). Die Nächte waren grauenvoll…anders nicht zu sagen. Autolärm und in der ersten Nacht eine Feier mit extrem lauter Musik und vor allem BASS..bei dem weder Ohropax, noch geschlossene Fenster, noch Kopfhörer halfen, die Betten haben vibriert. Wir sind enttäuscht und verärgert. Alle Mitarbeiter sind grundsätzlich bemüht, könnten jedoch üben zu grüßen. Insbesondere sollte die „neuen Jungen“ darin eingearbeitet werden. Allerdings leben das die anderen auch nicht vor. Hervorheben möchten wir 2 Mitarbeiterinnen vom Frühstücksbuffet, die sehr zugewandt und aufmerksam waren . Positiv ist auch das wirklich große Angebot und die Frische des Frühstücksbuffet.
