I was originally staying at another hotel for the duration of my holiday to visit some friends in Karlsruhe, but ended up getting the dates mixed and needed an extra night at a hotel. The price for the one night stay I had was really affordable, and it was not a long way from my friends. Even if the stay was only for one night, the hotel and the room itself was really nice! The staff was nice and helpful as well, which made my check-in and check-out very pleasant! The area was nice and quiet, and I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel considering it was only for one night!

I had the opportunity to spend nine days in this hotel. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Most of them have a working knowledge of English, which was a great help for me. They do not have coffee/tea-making facilities in the room. For me, it is a severe drawback. Housekeeping is also not as efficient. They just made the bed and never cleaned the room. The location is very convenient. They are within walking distance from the central train station and have a tram stop just in front of the hotel.

Hotel della catena B&B Hotels che ben conosciamo grazie alle esperienze positive avute in Francia, Italia e Germania, comodamente situato a breve distanza dall’ingresso sud della stazione centrale di Karlsruhe. Prenotato tramite il sito internet di B&B al costo di 78€ per una notte, due persone, colazione esclusa, posso dire che si è trattato di un ottimo soggiorno. Probabilmente il prezzo è stato un po’ oltre alla media ma, la presenza dell’ampio parcheggio gratuito in garage, collegato direttamente alla struttura tramite ascensore, è stato perfetto e ci ha permesso di girare la città anche il mattino successivo, solo questo vale un voto massimo. La camera è la classica di questo tipo di albergo (qui era presente anche un terzo letto) con bagno (dotato anche di phon) Wi-Fi, aria condizionata e, dietro al letto, una riproduzione della particolare mappa cittadina a ventaglio. Come in tutti gli alberghi della catena però, la mancanza un piccolo frigorifero è la cosa che più si fa sentire e, almeno per mio modo di vedere la stanza, aggiungerlo cambierebbe molto. In ogni caso, il gentile personale dell’albergo si è mostrato disponibile a mettere in fresco dei ghiaccioli, utili per trasportare qualcosa nella nostra borsa frigo. Grazie alla vicinanza alla stazione, basta percorrere il lungo passaggio che dall’ingresso sud porta all’ingresso principale per trovare diversi tram comodissimi per il centro città oltre a treni diretti nelle vicinanze o anche oltre e, ancora più in periodo di 9-Euro Ticket, questo è stato veramente perfetto. Un ottimo albergo, comodo, silenzioso, ben gestito, sicuramente sarebbe la prima scelta per un nuovo soggiorno a Karlsruhe.

I stayed at the Hotel Royal for one week while I attended a conference. The concierge called me to know my arrival time, as the reception is usually closed in the afternoon. Don't be scared by the grid fence which protects the reception - the staff is a professional team. The check-in is supported via an automat who accepts normal credit cards. Breakfast is always extra (18€) and served until 09:30 only. The single room is a bit narrow, especially if you have bigger luggage. The edge of the bed meets the edge of the desk so some climbing needs to be done. Bathroom meets expectations. In summer the terrace will be opened also, which provides the opportunity of having a drink in quiet courtyard. Karlsruhe castle is not far away, and there is also tram station just around the corner. All in all, a good hotel for a business trip.

This is a old fashioned split level apartment. The bedroom is upstairs, accessible by a half staircase which may be difficult to manage for elderly people or those with limited mobility. Even for the sprightly care must be taken when descending in the night, eg to go to the bathroom. Otherwise the bedroom is nice, with a tv and a skylight. Downstairs the half-staircase ends in the little hallway with suitcase rack, a tiny bathroom with a tiny shower (old german style), and a small kitchenette with microwave and two hobs and refrigerator. The provided crockery and pots were clean and everything worked ok. The front room is a small sitting room with tv, two rather worn (with peeling plastic covers) chairs, and two tables. There was also a very small balcony with two plastic chairs. So everything was there, it was just a bit old fashioned and some things were a bit worn. Overall however it was clean and functional.

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt für Wellness und Erholung. Sauna Erlebnis und Badelandschaft sehr gut. Die Peeling‘s und Getränke runden das ganze Erlebnis ab . Das Frühstück und Abendessen ist sehr lecker. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist sehr Vielfältig. Die S-Bahn stellt keine Lärmbelästigung dar. Personal war zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Wenn man sich erholen möchte und ein erholsames Wellness Erlebnis sucht ist es hier perfekt. Qualitativ gut und sauber.

We we’re driving from Hook of Holland to Bari to catch a Ferry to Greece. On our first days driving we were very tired to decided to stop here and rest. We were two friends and a dog! We used the hotels near us feature on *********** and found this hotel. The price was fabulous and the hotel could not have been better for our needs. Super comfortable beds. Quiet room. Clean and a decent breakfast! The staff on reception were amazing offering us free parking and checking us in quickly. They recommended a local Italian restaurant which was great. The hotel is very much on the edge of town but for an overnight stop like us it’s was perfect! Finally my friend left her iPad behind on our departure. We’d didn’t discover this u til we were well in our way. On contacting the hotel they could not have been more helpful. She has her iPad safely back in the post. Great service from great people.

Hotel is closely located to the Messe Karlsruhe and easily accessible by public transportation. The look and feel of the hotel is modern in overall and is nicely done (floral-themed), the rooms clean and nicely furnished. Overall nice stay. However, two things we weren’t pleased about and also heard other people complain about: This hotel is not accepting any cash but cards only. For guests from abroad, even small bills needed to be paid with card and commission usually apply for each transaction. Totally get the thinking of the cards-only policy but it definitely is not guests-friendly at all. The other thing is that we forgot to bring our travel adapter. Not the first time but in all previous hotel, we have also been able to borrow one from the reception. From a hotel which is located closest to a venue like the Messe Karlsruhe and with almost 160 rooms, we would’ve expected that they are prepared with a few travel adapter. Fact is: they have not a single one. As said: overall nice stay and we would probably book again, if we’re going to visit the Messe Karlsruhe but otherwise, we would definitely look for another hotel.

Every time we pass through Karlsruhe we stay here - the atmosphere is great, staff are wonderful, breakfast is included and many other perks for free (that other hotels have since long stopped providing), fantastic rooms, and even jogging route suggestions. And then the location - so central, easy parking and great shopping, walks and eating possibilities just on your doorstep. Warmly recommended!

Hotel is nice and clean, staff friendly at check in. Low quality breakfast though. Arrived two hours before closing and they were out of almost everything and nothing was refilled. The orange juice was empty, bacon empty, eggs cold, pancake machine just switched off etc. Saw people (not sure if guests or contractors) filling up their own containers with drinks and food, which is also unsanitary but the staff didn’t care. Also this hotel suffers from something that is common in Germany. The knocking on doors when they know someone is in the room still even though it’s not checkout time. This is a practice that must stop. A good nights sleep and friendly reception staff but that’s about it.

My wife commented this was one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in on our many trips to Europe as she walked in the room. Humidity affects her hair and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom to remove the excess humidity. Fortunately, there was a plug outside the bathroom with a big mirror on the opposite wall. unfortunately, the bar was eyelevel, but it worked. On day two, the plug did not work. For both of us, it was very, very difficult to find the right spot between too cold and too hot for the shower. Once found it was ok, till someone, somewhere, caused the water to be scalding hot. I personally remember getting burned at least 3 times. Other than these items, showers and getting ready in the morning, the place was great. The arrival staff was superb, especially Tom. The maid was also very helpful about the plug. She brought her vacuum down to test the plug. It was head. She went out of her way for service. When we spoke about the plug at the front desk, one lady said, technicians in on Monday. Someone else heard the conversation and gave us an extension cord which we could plug into the bathroom and use outside the room. Very helpful. Great Bar service and the dinner salad dressing was superb. The bed was much better in terms of support than the bed at the Mercure in St. Germain En Laye. With the tram stop right outside, hotel is very convenient. The 5 steps Up / Down are not friendly with luggage or handicap. We were also in a remodeled room and it was nice. The glass hiding the coffee cups is inconvenient and finding the hot water pot was difficult to find at first. I hope they get the hot water fixed as I would want to stay again.

PPengguna TetamuDie Lage ist sehr gut, da nicht in der Stadt aber auch nicht zu weit von der Stadt weg. Kino ist auch nicht weit. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und für jeden was dabei. Zimmer ist schön und gut ausgestattet, es gibt aber leider keinen Schrank wo man evtl. den Koffer verstauen kann. Ist aber eigentlich kein Problem, es gibt eine Garderobe oder sowas ähnliches mit Kleiderbügel. Im Bad findet man einen Föhn, Hygienebeutel, Taschentücher und Shampoo mit Duschgel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt genug Parkmöglichkeiten neben dem Hotel und in der Nähe.

Wir waren in einer Gruppe von 12 für 2 Nächte in 12 einzeln genutzten Zimmern Anfang Mai 2022 dort. Zudem hatten wir 2 halbe Tage einen Meeting room mit Service angemietet. Ich habe solche Treffen schon öfters organisiert und kann daher feststellen, dass zum ersten Mal alles funktioniert hat. Alle Anschriften, Rechnungen und organisatorische Vorbereitungen passten vorzüglich. Die Zimmer waren modern, nicht überladen, sehr funktional und sauber. Der Check in sowie die dortige Betreuung während des gesamten Aufenthaltes war absolut top. Das Frühstücks-Buffet war überraschend umfangreich und abwechslungsreich. Die Bar wurde zwar „nur“ von der Rezeption mitbedient, reichte aber absolut aus. Dieses Haus ist für Städte-Reisende und Geschäftsreisende gleichermaßen empfehlenswert.

Von Anfang an fiel mir ihre herzliche Begrüßung und ihre positive Ausstrahlung auf. Sie war stets bestrebt, meinen Anliegen und Bedürfnissen entgegenzukommen. Egal ob es um das Einchecken, das Buchen von Zusatzleistungen oder um Empfehlungen für lokale Sehenswürdigkeiten ging, sie war immer äußerst hilfsbereit und kompetent. Die Rezeptionistin bewies außerdem ein bemerkenswertes Organisationstalent. Sie schaffte es, die Anfragen mehrerer Gäste gleichzeitig zu bearbeiten und dabei stets einen ruhigen und professionellen Umgang zu wahren. Egal wie stressig es hinter dem Tresen war, sie behielt stets ihre positive Einstellung und vermittelte den Eindruck, dass sie sich um jeden Gast persönlich kümmerte. Darüber hinaus war die Rezeptionistin immer zuvorkommend und einfühlsam. Sie nahm sich Zeit, um meinen Fragen und Anliegen geduldig zuzuhören und mir dabei das Gefühl zu geben, dass mein Wohlbefinden für sie höchste Priorität hatte. Ihr Service war stets von einer persönlichen Note geprägt, die meinen Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Insgesamt möchte ich die Hotelrezeptionistin für ihre außergewöhnliche Leistung und ihre herausragenden Fähigkeiten loben. Sie ist eine wertvolle Mitarbeiterin, die das Hotel Engel durch ihre Professionalität, ihre Gastfreundschaft und ihre aufmerksame Art bereichert. Ich kann sie wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, in dem ich sicher sein kann, dass ich erneut auf einen so qualifizierten und herzlichen Empfang treffen werde.

With booking Agoda it’s mark parking included but hotel staff not agree with this they charge us 48 euros for 2 night park your car which is not kind and they don’t care of what is written on your voucher they just looking way of them So finely it was very bad experience with Achat plaza hotel in Karlsruhe, Germany Never want to go back there and recommend to others please make clear before if there heater and one more thing Zero room service we call for tea because my wife get sick they say go down in restaurant to search we don’t have room service and in the restaurant 6 clients eating around of them 4 waiters Super hard work …… Very very upset Zero Service Achat hotel

PPengguna TetamuWir waren von Freitag bis Sonntag wegen eines Konzertes in Karlsruhe und hatten wenig Ansprüche an ein Hotel. Zunächst einmal das Gute: das Frühstück war gut und wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Jedoch unser Zimmer war eine Zumutung: Schmierige Wände und eine durch Stockflecken verunstaltete Holzdecke. Das Bad war aber sauber & die Matratzen gut, daher sind wir geblieben, zumal die meisten Hotels ausgebucht waren. Der Zustand des Zimmers sei bekannt, wurde uns mitgeteilt. Sehr schade, da wir auch sehr früh gebucht hatten.
