Top notch experience! Managed very well. They don’t miss anything making stay unforgettable. Perfect add-on after African Safari. Located on beach at northern end of Zanzibar about hour drive from airport. Provide beach security so local beach vendors unable to enter private areas.

After one day back at home, we already miss Zuri deeply. It was a week to remember, and Zuri Zanzibar delivered in every possible way. On arrival, it felt like the world was left behind, and we were transported into a tropical garden resembling an Eden. We stayed for a week, and it was the most wonderful stay in paradise. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and made our stay so memorable. We were greeted by many smiling faces throughout our stay, from Masaai security to the housekeeping and gardening team. A friendly "Jambo" wherever we went. What really stood out about our stay at Zuri was the programme and how well thought out and considered it was. The events were authentic and exciting and felt so real and beautiful. We especially loved the African afternoon of dancing, the Masaai ceremony and live music. Every event organised was wonderful, and we loved how Zuri celebrates and supports the local communities around them. Everything from bringing in a local artist for a weekly painting session to organising a night market with local vendors (bring cash to the market and pls support these incredible people!). The yoga programme is also amazing, with two included classes per day taught by two wonderful teachers. We decided to choose the half-board option, and it was so worth it; so much was included, and the choice throughout was amazing. The food was a real highlight, with so much choice and varied options. We never felt like we were eating the same things, and the delicious dishes were a highlight. The beach BBQ is a memorable and delicious meal with a live sax performance.  We could go on forever about what we loved, but I will finish with the fact that we couldn't help but feel truly lucky to be the ones lying on the beach at Zuri while the world passed us. Our trip to Zuri will stay with us forever, and we can't wait to return one day.

This place runs like a well oiled machine- the cottages are luxuriously well appointed, lovely staff, , great service, fabulous food, excellent yoga each morning in the gorgeous pavilion (watch out for the monkey!), fascinating spice farm and tour, lovely pool areas. Total R&R after a few busy days in Stonetown Each evening there is a different 'event' at the beach- live music, local dancers, warrior show etc. It's on a pretty stretch of the beach but be prepared that there are hawkers everywhere once you walk up the main beach. Also its a very very chilled vibe with mostly couples and a lot of honeymooners, or post safari down time so Im not sure that its would be ideal for anyone solo or anyone looking for a party. This place is wonderful. The cottages are spread over the property with privacy for each. Our deck was a relaxing spot to enjoy a rainy morning in the jungle, and then we ventured to the beach when the sun appeared - all very relaxing. The pool is quiet and very beautiful, with a view through the trees of the beach below and ocean. The dining room dinner and breakfast buffet is more than abundant and everything was delicious. All staff were friendly and helpful. Would have been a 5 star stay, but for the all night party (and I mean ALL NIGHT) which went on at the property next door - we were told that this happens whenever there is a full moon. Music and lots of amplified yelling. Not the fault of Zuri Zanzibar, but something to consider when booking your stay.

Review of Zuri Zanzibar We had the pleasure of spending 17 amazing days at Zuri Zanzibar, and it has been an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the hotel impressed us with its incredible service, stunning surroundings, and exceptional staff. During our stay, one of us unfortunately fell ill, but the care and support from the Zuri team were beyond anything we could have expected. Meals were kindly delivered to our room, and Dr. Yasser provided immediate assistance. He also arranged express service at a nearby hospital just two minutes away, which was truly outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, with something new and exciting to enjoy every day. The hotel’s beautiful environment felt like a tropical paradise, and the staff made us feel welcome and cared for at every moment. Zuri Zanzibar is a true gem, and we’re leaving with memories we’ll treasure forever.
