Blue Aegean Hotel & Suites

Had a lovely stay here, hotel and pool area very clean and up to date, all inclusive drinks where good and was accessible at good times, only think which has let this place down is the lack of entertainment, it is not on every night and they have nothing on during the day such as pool games and the food wasn’t great very oily and not much flavour but overall is a good hotel close to the beach and a few bars not alot of nightlife but was ideal for us, thankyou.

My husband and I enjoyed our so much. The staff are especially fab, really friendly and helpful, they all work so hard We loved that this hotel is relatively small and close to the beach , and also has a lovely pool area. We would recommend it and are hoping to return next year with our family and grandchildren. Thank you for a really good holiday. Debra

Had a lovely stay here , we went for our honeymoon and was upgraded to one of the suites . In our room was a complimentary basket of fruit and wine . Our room was immaculate , fully equipped, very very spacious and spotless . The cleaning team really do work hard to keep the hotel to such a good standard . The hospitality staff are the nicest I have ever known , they couldn’t do enough for you and it was all done with a smile . The food was great , we didn’t have a bad meal , plenty of choice and options , be open minded , try the Greek dishes . The only negative I can say is regarding the sun loungers , but that was the guests , claiming them the evening before or at silly o’clock in the morning and then not using them . I can understand that the lovely staff might not want a confrontation but perhaps something in place where it’s fair for those unable to get one when they aren’t being used . Unfortunately on one occasion some holiday makers was drinking cans of alcohol in the pool and playing their own music loudly which meant the pleasant music the hotel play couldn’t be heard . Fortunately we didn’t experience any of this at the alternate pool . The location is perfect with the lovely beach a stone throw away , some nice bars local and few more along the coast a short stroll away . Thank you for such a lovely stay .

We have just come back from this hotel.. I am writing an honest review.. First of all I will put all the good points… Hotel is spotless, all the staff are really friendly. Food ok.. many dishes were cold ( that should have been warm) rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels.. The location was absolutely amazing.. 2 minutes to the beautiful beach.. Now the NEGATIVES.. Guests put their towels on the Sun beds in the evening ( 9pm) They were over 50 sun beds round the pool and by 8am every one had a towel on and guest didn’t use them till around lunchtime.. When I addressed this with reception their answer to that was “ what can we do ?????” People was going on boat trips in the morning and not coming back till the afternoon and their towels we’re still on the sun beds???? TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE… Also certain guests were bringing bottles of Vodka and Gin that they had bought and drinking them by the pool??? Nothing said about that… In all honesty it’s a total let down for the hotel… If I ever return back to this resort, I would not return to this hotel… This is an honest review I have wrote..

Hotel needs to address the sun bed blocking. Lots of beds not being used but had towels placed on them. “Just why” Apartment was good and location was great and close to a nice beach Choice of pubs and shops in a number of locations to suit all ages

does public transport pass nearby hotel if yes how far away is the bus station from the hotel and how much is the ticket.sunbeds and umbrella on the beach are free of charge or not.if are with payment what is the cost of them.seabed is rocky or sandy

We went to Blu Aegean during the May half term week and couldn't fault the place. We stayed in the new apartments just over the road from the main hotel, which had their own quiet pool (other guests can use this, but none really seemed to). Apartments were well fitted out. A previous review had said the hotel wifi didn't reach the apartments but we had no such issues and it all worked fine. Only minor issue we had was a smoke alarm beeping because the batteru needed changing, but it was quickly resolved by the reception staff, even in the middle of the night. All the staff were great throughout the week, in every area of the hotel. For a relatively small hotel compared to come of the massive resorts we've stayed in elsewhere I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food. We met lots of guests who come here every year, and I can understand why. We tended to go out on a night so only stayed for the entertainment once or twice, but it was decent (covers singer one time, and aqua ballet the other). It's in a lovely resort with plenty of nice bars and restaurants within a really short walk, which was ideal. Short transfer from the airport, too. We did get a taxi into Hersonissos one day which was 20Euros each way, and the hotel reception were really helpful in arranging it. There's also a bus but it's a 20min walk to the main road to catch it, apparently. We did have a couple of days at the nearby beach. There are a few to choose from but we turned right out of the hotel and went to there as it was a bit more golden sandy. Lovely little spot, but there are also beaches right outside the hotel, 15 Euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella where we went. Sea was lovely and clear, also great for snorkelling, and plenty of nearby shops. Couldn't really criticise them in any aspect, and I'd happily recommend this hotel.

Have just returned, can't say it was completely relaxing as my daughter was in hospital, however if it hadn't been for the staff, I would not of been able to leave my boys there on their own, 14yrs and 18yrs. They treated us like family and during a difficult stay they were amazing. Thank you to all of you 😘 We had a one bedroom apartment which was lovely and spacious. The cleaners were amazing and the food every day was lovely. They honestly couldn't do enough for everyone who was there and despite our experience of hospitals would definitely go back. Thank you again to an amazing team!!!!

Well what can we say, had a fantastic time, room was nice number 14, with a terrace, opposite bar and pool. Food was really good, always found something tasty, loads of gluten-free options, more than I've experienced elsewhere! Bed was comfy, aircon a blessing! Loads of sun loungers around pool ! The main assett for this hotel is the staff ! Shout out to all the cleaners who work so hard, unsung heroes ! Also Eva, Maria and Georgio, the hotel wouldn't be the same without you ! Also Frank the night porter, lovely to chat with you! Stef and Marianne too ! You are all a credit to the Blue Aegean ! Thank you Georgio, who came to give us farewell cuddle when waiting on our transfer home ! It was like leaving family behind ! We had a ball at The Central Bar, with @jim Brown on the Mondays ! Also The Annfield Bar, where my husband could catch up with his football on TV ! We miss you ! Don't hesitate to book this hotel if you are looking for a laid back holiday 😎
