This place is excellent for a stay. Especially if coming to or from the international airport. Our welcome was friendly and efficient. The room is excellent, pristine and equipped for all that is needed for our overnight stay. The bed is also very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to the room however I chose to have this at the small table and chairs outside of the room on a small terrace. A perfect place for this. The breakfast is more than adequate, also caters for me as a vegetarian. I asked for a knock at my door to be woken up in case I had slept thrmy alarm and this was given. Such a delightful place to stay. A small courtyard garden with a static table and seats if wanted. Garden lights during the evening make this a pretty area to relax. Tea, coffee and water are available in the room. There was air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The accommodation is located down a side road from the main road. This means it’s nice and quiet. For dinner we decided to walk jumping a few metres to another hotel which served food. However, Faith Hotel do have menus for which to order food which would be delivered if required. Alternatively, we were offered an option of being taken to another place if we wished. We had booked for 2 separate airport transfers as we were travelling on separately to different places. This was organised by and with the owner dropping us all in good time. I noted while at the stay, information regarding trips to places and even tours can be organised. Additionally there is information on an Ayurveda treatments option at a place called Ayurveda Villa which really looked good. This had different packages with a stay including food consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor to decide on the relevant treatments for your package. To use up our rupees we were able to pay part cash, part card which was so convenient. This couple really do offer everything in a stay at Airport Faith Hotel. They are passionate about what they do, are committed to making your stay the best. They have everything available or on hand and can’t do enough to make your stay a happy and good one. I highly recommend a stay here.

I stayed one night before I flew out from Sri Lanka. The room was clean and had good air con. Wifi was strong. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The price of my meals and beer was very good and the food tasty. I was well looked after and had a good chat about cricket and Shane Warne. For a very small fee i was able to organise late check out (8.00 pm) The drop-off at the airport was included in the price of the stay. This place was excellent value for money.

Our last day in Sri Lanka and we thought it would be a waste of precious time to stay in a hotel all day !! Absolutely not ! From our welcome, attentive and informative staff, Kapila was particularly brilliant as he helped navigate through a superior menu which included the best Cerviche we've ever eaten, so again at lunch it was ! A wonderful Spa experience followed by a stroll round the gardens, up through the veggie garden and met the three long eared goats Garden and interior design, plus interesting artwork, was a visual delight. Sehr gutes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal. Die Hotelanlage und auch die Zimmer waren sehr gepflegt. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend und preiswert (Lunch und Dinner). Der kostenlose Transfer hat hervorragend gepasst, Fahrzeit ca. 15 Minuten. Ich werde auf alle wiederkommen. Danke a das nette Personal.

Beautiful facilities, pools and restaurant. Great breakfast, lots of options. Staff are so welcoming and warm, would highly recommend. Can’t comment on location as only stayed for one night, so didn’t explore the area. Rooms, although basic, were big with a huge bath and balcony. Spa treatments great value for money.

A group of 42 classmates had a weekend reunion at Gold Sands Hotel, Negombo, booking 17 rooms. All arrangements were sorted out beforehand, with the hotel sending us a schedule to fill with the names of those sharing Double and Triple rooms. When we arrived there on Saturday 21st, we only had to sign against our name, have the wristband put and collect our key. The hotel is very spacious and well laid out with big lobby spaces to hang out in two different locations. The rooms are also away from the main section, with a separate open lobby and long tables for groups to hang out. The food for all 3 meals was very good, with a wide variety, including action stations, to cater to all palates. The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating. For dinner that night, they even laid out tables on the lawn for our group, so that we were closer to the beach and could enjoy the sea breeze. Though they must have been itching to clear the tables and set up for breakfast the next day (!), they brought us coffee and tea and waited patiently till we moved away to another location, after dinner. I would recommend this hotel as an ideal place to relax and unwind, with good food and service at very affordable rates.

Great hotel with awesome staff and facilities. Everone including housekeeping staff, waiters and restaurant staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Food is exceptional, with so much choice and lots of fantastic Sri Lankan dishes. Hats off to the fabulous Animators at the hotel, who are an absolute delight and a super talented bunch. Special mentions to the super talented and charismatic Thari, who made an incredible coconut palm hat for my wife and Kalindu Sri Dewapriya for simply being you and warmly welcoming us to the hotel and making us feel at home, as well as all the other animators. For excursions I would highly recommend See Lanka Travels and the amazing Nipun F’do. What a guy, he is a man of his word and puts you at ease right from the start and truly delivers with tailor made tours with exceptionally friendly tour guides and drivers

Last June (June 2024), for the third or fourth time, we; my wife and two daughters stayed again at the Covanro. This place is so attractive, in terms of the people, the service, the food and the location so every time we visit Sri Lanka, we keep going back to this fabulous hotel. The people are kind, considerate, respectful and courteous in every sense of the word which I observed a trait that is coming down from the top management. Combined with that is the quality of the service they offer which is higher than expected for a hotel operating in an environment such as in Sri Lanka. For those food lovers, whatever taste you are looking for; Sri Lankan style spicy food, Asian style or Western cuisine, the chefs at the Covanro’s kitchen are capable of addressing your taste buds and, in my experience, they always exceed one’s expectations. We were highly impressed of the high standard of accommodation the Covanro offers with a wide range of rooms to select from which are large and spacious and also, a few types of luxury suites. During our stay we joined many other guests who enjoyed hotel amenities such as the swimming pool, gym and sauna which are available for the guests free of charge, bar facilities included. For any visitor, the Covanro is an excellent introduction to friendly and courteous Sri Lankan hospitality which follows the traditional greeting “Ayubowan”.
