We had booked 2 rooms at kunga hotel on our trip to kaza. Firstly it is not a hotel, it is a homestay with only about 10 rooms. The rooms are very basic. The bedding provided was sufficient but not very clean. The staff was helpful but preparation of every meal took a very long time. Though they have a detailed menu in the restaurant not even half the things are available. I would recommend the owner to promote his place as a homestay and reduce the price. The rooms were not worth the 4k i paid for them, i got better rooms at 3k in shimla and kufri.

Good interior, well maintained, nice cafe, good for couple and friendly stays

it was a good experience to stay at this place. was apprehensive of the service and stay but it was extremely good and comfortable stay. personnel care of the owner Mr Jaspreet made the stay more comfortable. only a few rooms but very neat and clean. The cafe at ground floor has tasty food, good service, games to play and acyaully nice ambience in the evening. Main market at walking distance.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights on 6th & 7th July 2023. We had booked 2 rooms for 2 families. The hotel was good, rooms were clean and the hotel staff were very friendly. The breakfast was simple and we opted for Bread toast / Poha (which was yummy) / Paratha. Could not expect more in a place like Kaza. Overall, nice hospitality. We travelled to Chandratral from Kaza and were expected to stay in Chandratral for 1 night and move on to Keylong. However, due to unexpected heavy snowfall, we were stranded in Chandratal for 5 days and once the road clearance was done, we return to Kaza since the road to Manali / Keylong were still blocked. Upon return to Kaza, we did not spend time looking for another hotel and checked in into Hotel Spiti Heritage. We were surprised when the hotel staff mentioned that they will not charge anything from guests returning from Chandratal. Nice gesture....
