Khao Kho not my destination because of rain that we can’t be there on time. Next plan is find some where for short sleep side the main road. We arrived to Rai Songrao Resort Khao Kho around 10:30pm that too late but good welcome. Reception escort me and my friend without asking any document. Big green area and many room type. Weather on the morning was great but today not many a mist. Breakfast area face to the good view (mountain and field) server always smile and asking what we need. Serve boiled rice in the hot pot sunny side up sausage and side dish is a salad. If not full can be more and more set. After breakfast we ready for next destination.

ทำเลดี ใกล้วัดพระธาตุผาซ้อนแก้ว ห้องพักสะอาด บรรยากาศรอบข้างดี ติดถนนใหญ่ อยู่หลังเซเว่นหาของกินง่าย เจ้าของบริการดี มีที่จอดรถให้แต่น้อย อยากให้ทำป้ายชัดเจนกว่านี้ เพราะตอนแรกหาที่พักไม่เจอทางเข้าที่พักมีป้ายที่พักอื่นเด่นกว่า หมุดที่ปักในแมพก็หยุดกลางถนน

Stayed in the Hillside rooms. Comfortable , simple clean room with balcony . The resort is nice , service was good. Breakfast was more Thai style with some fried eggs and bread corner , cornflakes etc. Parking is available. Wifi also available. Connected is the adventure park for activities and peak to take pictures .

before you book please be aware that this place is bascially 40 years old (Princess Phukaew Hill Resort before Imperial took over 1992) and some people might feel that decor is worn. YES it's true- but everything was working: Wifi, Hotel water, Toilet, TV, pool, even a Sauna (only female is working 2023). Remember that you pay only 800 THB for room but you'll get a beautiful historical garden (park like) setting, Wifi, Pool and - important - silence is golden!!! We checked some newer and more expensive places: no views, no gardens, no trees... I'd prefer this place 100 times! Golf carts will help you ot get back to your place on hillside (instead of walking) Cleaniness could be improved (but how to remove verdigris on some copper materials?) Breakfast I'd skip next time (breakfast around 160 THB/Person prebooked) as a Westener there is no real selection, same in street food stalls cost 40THB only per dish)

The BlueSky Resort is a wonderful and beautiful place. She has beautiful gardens and environments. As it is December and Christmas is near, the garden is lighted up with colourful lightings. Breakfast is very good. I had my dinner in the resort too, it is up to standard. Good job. Staff are friendly and helpful. Special thanks to miss Pukky, waitress at the restaurant who is so helpful and efficient. Unfortunately, I have to mention about the room I stayed in is not up to standard and it is over charged. I would suggest the management of The BlueSky Resort to upgrade these rooms as soon as possible to maintain your reputation as No.1 resort in Khao Kho. Look into the paint work of the furniture, water supply,mattresses and pest control. Something needs to be done.

Although it is not at the top of Khao Kho, the view was really pretty where the owners didn't turn it into an extremely commerical area, there were still more greens than building. However, if it does rain at night, you are in for a challenge; keep the kamikaze light flies from entering your room (trust me - they infested everything in the room, including the bed!!!) A simple & fast hack is to lay toilet paper to block all the entry areas (eg: window & sliding door openings, any loopholes that was caused by wear & tear) & turn off all the lights when you sleep. The night flies will kamikaze themselves outside anyways.
