The room facilities are a bit old. It's close to the road and it's still a bit noisy with cars coming and going at night.

Service restaurant pas à la hauteur

My stay as a guest was perfect. What prompted me to write this review was the outstanding service of one particular staff at the reception, named Dani. I really wanted to find a way to say that thanks to him, I received the most outstanding reception service of all my stays in Kinshasa. The hotel management should acknowledge this. The Organization of the conference could have been perfect if more preparation before the conference could have been agreed upon. Despite of this, during the conference, service was very good and the food was really really good. I’ll be back.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Kinshasa especially if you are looking for a secure place to stay. I have never had such a bad hotel experience in my life. I have been travelling to Kinshasa for the past 5 years regularly and I have stayed in various hotels and this hotel is easily the worst I have stayed in Kinshasa. Someone tried to come in my room at 10pm without a room key and an employee of the hotel actually opened the door of my room to that person without even checking if it was the right room. Fortunately I was there and the person ran away. When I called the reception to complain, they did not even seem to care that it was a major security breach from their part. They sent the employee & the night manager later to apologise and that was it. The next day I told a guy at the reception that I needed to meet the director to complain and he just ignored me. I was talking to him and he just told me he was busy. I had a chat with the guest relations manager and nothing was done. It seems they did not want me to meet with the director as they knew they would all get in trouble. For the price that you pay for this hotel, you would expect a much better service but all they care about is their money.
