Avani is a beautiful modern hotel. We only stayed for one night. Close to the mall, which was a bonus. On check-in, the staff were gathering in groups, not really interested in checking in guests. There seemed to be a goodbye party for a staff member, so they were distracted. All in all, the room and beds were perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff, close to the airport, breakfast good, all in all good price/value. Only crit: the provided shuttle runs only until 10 pm; when arriving late you’ll have bad luck and will be a victim of the CUN Taxi maf-ia (means you’ll pay about 40/50 USD). This would made other more expensive options even closer to the airport more attractive (as no Taxi required).

To get a room for Christmas Eve, I booked through Trip.com about ten days before my stay. But when I arrived, the hotel informed me that Trip.com hadn't paid the hotel yet, that I couldn't check in unless I put another payment on hold until it was processed. Of course, that could be Trip.com's fault, as they claimed. But I'll never forget the contemptuous tone of the lobby clerk's words to me as I panicked and kept asking questions trying to figure out what was going on: "Pay or leave the hotel. It's Christmas eve, and there are plenty of guests who want to get a room, even if it's not you." There were many more things that made me feel disrespected by the staffs at this hotel. I arrived at the hotel at late at night and waited in line for a long time, but a staff told me "I have to go to home now, so you'll have to talk to someone else," and when I told them the hair dryer in my room didn't work, the new one they brought me was somehow sticky all over. They're not going to respect you, so respect yourself. How? FIND SOME PLACE ELSE.

Nice new hotel close to the airport. Free shuttle provided to/ from airport once booked in advance, staff are all friendly and helpful. Food was tasty, breakfast a bit expensive but lots of options. Room and big and very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel for airport stays.

I really can’t say enough about how pleases I was with this hotel. New, very clean, super breakfast, very helpful staff, etc. I totally recommend it.

Close to the airport with a free shuttle which is great. Great breakfast and amazing staff in the restaurant. Best beds and comfortable clean rooms. Not much around the hotel but it’s really nice.

Stayed here for a layover flight. Nice hotel. Service was very friendly. The airport shuttle is a bit plus👍🏻

Very nice facility. All personnel from the Shuttle Service, Lobby to Front Desk very professional and accomodating. Food was very good dinner and breakfast. Ramon, Christian and Front Desk staff excellent! Food and bar staff excellent! Maintenance staff pleasant. I would definitely stay here again upon my return to Cancun. Hotel shuttle service available from airport which was a huge plus! Be sure to tip the driver..It is worth it.

Overall, I DID NOT enjoy my experience at this hotel. Starting off, the food was pretty awful. The pancakes were super thick and undone, omelettes were still wet on the inside, we had to keep asking for clean plates, bowls, and cups, the yogurt was like water, and the orange juice was just a mouth full of pulp, barely juice. We also did not enjoy the bath towels at NH, they didn't have any small size wash cloths to scrub our bodies after being in the heat and the towels were still dirty. After being wet, you are able to see the dirt stains all over their dry towels, which was very disturbing. As far as the service at this hotel, we were not pleased with that either. My husband and I ran into an issue with the hotels shuttle service and they did absolutely nothing to even make us feel better about the situation. At the end of the trip, we requested a shuttle bus to take us to the airport, the hotel mentioned it was $30 USD, but when we arrived downstairs we were told to pay $36 USD instead. After declining the shuttle for an additional $6 USD we proceeded to negotiate with taxi drivers outside the hotel. This lead to the original shuttle bus driver calling us back to then take $30 USD. This same shuttle bus driver did not bring his card reader on the ride to the airport, so at the last minute he mentions that he doesn't have his card reader, looking at us like we're crazy. While he is calling the shuttle folks outside of the airport, 10 minutes later they finally decided to make us pay for gas. Unfortunately, we had to turn back around and proceed with the gas transaction, which took up another 10 minutes. In the midst of all of that the driver did not drop us off in time for our flight. He took an additional 25 minutes away from our check-in time that we had to reschedule the flight for the next morning. At this point we must stay in Cancun for an additional day, so we head back to the hotel to alert them of the issue and politely ask for compensation. The hotel tells us there is nothing they can do and the manager from the shuttle service is blaming us for not making the flight, also blatantly laughing at our situation. The ride takes 10 minutes to get to the airport from the hotel, but the driver took 36 minutes to get back to the hotel and the shuttle service manager is still blaming us for this frustrating inconvenience. After this, we booked a new room and requested to be listed for the 6am free shuttle service the next morning. The next morning we get downstairs before 6am to make the bus, we are put off the bus because we were NOT on the guest list to ride the 6am shuttle, we are now frustrated again because we have to spend additional money for a new ride to the airport after already requesting to be on the 6am shuttle. The front desk agent is saying we didn't request for the shuttle or that we did not pay for the additional night spent at the hotel. (How can you even stay a night at a hotel if you did not pay and check-in at the front desk?) After all, the hotel did not give us a discounted rate for the additional night nor did anyone from the shuttle service apologize for their inconvenience, Id honestly like a full refund for this entire stay being that it was uncomfortable and not pleasing to us, as the guest. If I ever go back to Cancun I would NOT stay at NH Hotel and would NOT recommend.

Personal freundlich, Frühstück super, Bekamen bei Ankunft 23:30 noch ein Essen nach Karte. Zum Flughafen sind es 15 min. Wir können es unbedingt empfehlen.
