Very good experience! Big hotel room and nice reception. Good if you drive as the Carpark is just at the basement and you can take the lift from hotel Lobby. Convenience to the museum and the hotel is next to the JR station. Nice staff and highly recommend!

Very close to the JR main station. You can walk from the main station to the Hotel over a bridge with rooftop within 10mins. Convenient stores, shopping malls and tons of restaurants are within walkable distance. Will stay here again if I visited again.

Had a issue with communication about breakfast but everything else was good

I went to Kitakyushu for a family trip and stayed at Rihga royal hotel Fukuoka, which is located near Kokura station, the center of Kitakyushu. First of all, the location is very good. It's close to Kokura station and there are shopping centers, downtown, shopping streets, and Kokura castle nearby. Since it's near Kokura station, it's easy to get to other areas nearby, such as Fukuoka and Moji port. The hotel is a large hotel with high floors that are very noticeable in the neighborhood and seems to be the best hotel near Kokura for banquet halls, buffets, etc. It has an overall older feel than the newer hotels these days, but in a good way, it's classic and the rooms are relatively larger than the newer hotels. Overall, the hotel is well maintained, so it is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is also doing a good job of maintaining the characteristic Japanese friendliness and attentiveness. The in-room amenities are also good. The hotel breakfast is also excellent for the price. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kitakyushu.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted and assisted throughout my stay. There’s amenities throughout the location (it would be nice if they didn’t charge $5-$10 to use each one of them) as well as nice, formal restaurants throughout the building. The rooms are very nice and have a great view of the city. They could us a bit of modernizing, but nothing was problematic. On a side note, it is substantially cheaper to book through a third party app like Trip.com than directly through the hotel.

I have stayed at Rhiga Royal at regular intervals for many years, and as usual the hotel did not dissapoint. Great location, Big rooms, always clean, good service from staff who is always willing to help. I did not use any of the restaurants This time, but from previous stays I would definately recommend the Teppanyaki restaurant although it is not cheap. One thing did dissapoint This time. The closure of the skylounge on the top floor of the hotel. A bar/lounge where I have often relaxed after a Long day.
