I stayed with my wife and daughter, Overall my stay was perfect however I would like to highlight few things can be improved. Restaurant service is slow, food options are great , there were more than enough varieties orin the Buffet we always had the option to order from the Ala carte menu. I would like to say a big thank you to Sangeeta from the buffet restaurant . She was superb, as soon as we entered the restaurant she attends us with a big smile on the face. She know her job very well. Cleanliness- Room cleaning was done every morning when we leave for breakfast. our room cleaning guy Mr. Afazzudhin was the highlight. He always make sure our room is cleaned before we get back from Breakfast. He is a friendly and very professional I would give 5 star for cleanliness. Hassan & Family

We had an amazing time at the resort! The location, room, and facilities were perfect for what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning. The staff provided exceptional service and were incredibly friendly and humble. A big thank you to everyone—front desk, serving staff, and security—for making our stay so enjoyable!

The Keys has a fantastic location. The view is awesome as you look at the beautiful water bodies. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation. This however is more than compensated by customer service by each and every staff you interact with. Brilliant service all round. What stood out above all was the front office manager Vinu Varghese. Perhaps the most helpful soul you can ever meet. The breakfast was good.

We stayed 3 nights here. The hotel is in a fabulous location, with unbeatable views. Seeing dolphins jumping around and playing daily in the water just in front of the hotel was memorable. The common areas are classy, and the rooms have been done up superbly. Our family had both the signature suite (with a balcony with views to die for) and a heritage sea view room. We were here for my wife’s birthday and they upgraded our room to the signature suite - a kind gesture. Many staff wished my wife constantly throughout our stay. The food and drinks were excellent. Rice Boat is an experience in itself with top notch food, and Babu’s cocktails were excellent. The welcome ceremony, complimentary daily high tea, sunset cruise, lamp lighting and cultural performances add to the experience. But what makes this resort truly exceptional are the staff. Each and every member of staff was warm and friendly. The standouts however were Jasmine, Ahilan and Risol - true assets for the Taj. This is a trip we will always remember and the Taj Malabar is a hotel we will recommend in a heartbeat.

I stayed with family at this hotel for 3 days it was very good experience, the hotel was clean and rooms big and services very good also have space for walk in hotel like park and many activities, like boating,🧘♀️, etc

The hotel is old but it is an old is gold property. You dont expect most modern equipments or sophisticated facilities in the hotel but they are winning with their best efforts. My second visit , First visit with my family and now with my official visit at kochi. Their simplicity and old charm make me fascinated with ****** hotel. Right from Front desk people and manager, ending up with restaurant staffs. We felt that they are taking care of us. Thank you all.

We really enjoyed our two night stay here. We were warmly welcomed with a cold drink and a cold towel. Our room was huge, comfortable and airy, as was the bathroom. It was lovely to have a variety of real teas in our room. The food was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. There is a lovely terrace, with a shaded area to eat or have a drink and a nice pool. The location is ideal - very close to shops, restaurants and the waterfront where the fish is brought in. We visited and bought a number of gifts from the Kochi Society - an initiative run by local women making and selling beautiful jewellery, handcrafts, textiles, spices and much more. Also well worth a visit is the small theatre to see the Kathakali traditional Keralan dance and the martial arts performances. The demonstration and explanation before each of the two short performances was really helpful in understanding it. We had booked the first performance which was fascinating so stayed on for the second and really enjoyed both.

Amazing staff and very beautiful and stylish hotel. The architecture, the rooms, the gardens and pool are really beautiful, sensitive to local styles as well as super comfortable. The pool was very refreshing after a day out in the hot weather and very clean. I had an extremely relaxing Ayurvedic massage in the treatment room with a very experienced practitioner. The breakfast was lovely and the dining room is fresh and charming. But most of all, the staff were incredible! They were there for my every need and provided advice and even booked my train onward train ticket and arranged for me to be taken to the station early in the morning. Its in an interesting location with a theatre right next door. I cannot recommend the wonderful hotel highly enough.

Warm friendly hotel with a colonial feel. On first impressions looks a bit tired but rooms are wonderful. Very large, modern bathrooms and very clean. We ate in Roof top restaurant and food was fabulous we chose buffet style for 1300 rupees per person (approximately GBP13.00). Only disappointment of this hotel was their rooftop pool. It had very few subbed and not a particularly nice setting although the views were amazing. Location is good for Fort Kochi and quite safe to walk around. Staff were very friendly helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend a stay here.

The rooms of no 18 hotel are quite spacious with plenty of light. The property is good but has not been maintained properly. We stayed for six days in this property during jun e and it was off season with barely any guests. We were given the deluxe room on our first day. Because of a design defect in the false ceiling, the fan's air doesn't reach our bodies properly. The ac also wasn't working and since the windows are sealed, it was quite stuffy inside and we could not sleep properly the entire life. The next day after much persuasion, we were shifted to another room which was smaller but whose ac was working. The restaurant also wasn't very functional due to insufficient guests i suppose. But we did have breakfast one day and the dosa was not bad at all. So, this is an inexpensive hotel but not well maintained.
