The Malabar House delivered an exceptional experience for 3 nights and 4 days. The staff was so attentive and friendly; Ann-Marie took excellent care of my partner and me with great recommendations, and bookings around the backwaters and Fort Kochi. The property is very unique with art and attention to detail everywhere you look. The bed was comfortable, the rooms cleaned and well stocked and coffee on the terrace or a beer in the evening just made the property feel like home. Thank You.

We had a wonderful stay at Malabar House. The hotel is beautiful and a very good location. Our room on both occasions was lovely, spacious with a very comfortable bed and good air conditioning. The decor in the rooms is beautiful and gives a lovely heritage feel combined with modern amenities. The bathrooms were also spacious and nice. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good,with sufficient choice. We really enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel and hope to return. Thank you.

Amazing venue right in the heart of historic Fort Kochi. On-site restaurant was great. The breakfast options were quite a nice mix of local and European choices. Seafood options at lunch were delicious! The staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was very clean and well appointed.

Many tourists to India are lucky to visit Fort Cochin as part of their visit to Kerala, God's own Country, but most of them are not fortunate enough to stay at the Malabar House and enjoy the unique ambiance and the special brand of hospitality under the management of Mr Sashi Kumar and administered by Unni at the office and the ever smiling Ann Mary at the front desk ***** with Jomy. A good compliment of staff are availble for all your needs during the stay at the best place to stay in Fort Cochin. A restaurant is attached to the hotel . This is a Chateau et Relais property and attracts a different clientele

A wonderful experience at this charming and beautiful hotel. What sets it apart is the people. Excellent hospitality from all staff, especially Aparna and manager Vinesh who went above and beyond to also advise and assist to next leg of our journey. Wonderful breakfast. Easy walking access to the fort, local businesses and eateries.

We really enjoyed our stay here, all the staff are friendly and very helpful in particular the two ladies on reception, Jomy and Annmary always greeted with a smile. Nothing was any too much trouble. The hotel is clean with lots of character.

The Malabar House is one of the best heritage boutique hotels in the Fort Kochi area. The experience there has been very positive, intimate with a homely vibe. Located at a calm and old worldly street opposite the parade ground, the Malabar House is strategically close to art galleries, cafes, the beach, the world famous Vasco da Gama church. The staff are friendly, resourceful, understanding and professional. Anne Marie helped a lot with her knowledge and valuable suggestions. Their overall breakfast quality should definitely improve. The plunge coffee was weak and the coffee quality wasn't up to the mark. The upma was flavourless, masala dosa was disappointing. Their vegetarian stew and appam is a must try. Apart from the safe Indian wine collection, their wine list can make do with some international brands as well. Overall, the stay at The Malabar House has been very comfortable, luxurious and relaxing.

Malabar House is an elegant hotel in the middle of Fort Kochi, so close to all the sites. The food was really wonderful and the staff were very sweet and professional. Our room was very large and decorated with a heritage decor. We would stay here again!

Pros: Rooms were good and property is also very neat and clean. Location is good. Cons: price is a bit high, many superior options are available in the same price range. Food is not up to the mark, Complementary breakfast was very one dimensional and no filter coffee.
