Forte Kochi

Lovely hotel made for a very relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and the service was very good. The location is great, close to bars and restaurants all within walking distance and the tuk-tuk ride to the Jewish street was only 10 minutes

I had a lovely stay at Forte Kochi. To start with, the location is excellent for anyone who wishes to explore popular places of interest in the area. My package included a heritage walk around touristy spots in Fort Kochi. The vibrant colours and European style decor instantly cheer you up! The staff is extremely warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. I took a basic room, so the view was nothing special, but it was cosy and well maintained. Even the bathroom was extremely neat and tidy. Decor, amenities and comfort were up to the mark. Coming to the breakfast buffet, it is pretty good but not excellent. However, their French toast really stood out to me! Overall, I had a great stay and would love to return in the future.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for us. The atmosphere is great. I had a relaxing swim in the pool. Lots of restaurants and things to do in the local area in walking distance. Thank you for making our stay special!

From the time I stepped foot on this remarkable property, I felt like I was home. I was greeted with the biggest smile by Anesha and warmly welcomed. She provided us with a welcome drink (not sure the name of it, but it was water with cinnamon, clove, honey & orange slice). The rooms was big, airy & decorated with furnishings that were comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable! The premises were always clean and smelled fresh. The manager went out of his way to give permission for us to swim after hours. The staff left nothing unattended. There was always a smile on their faces and were always helpful. They were so receptive and friendly & and I have left this property with newfound friends/family. The Jetty had a great selection of food to choose from. Everything that we ordered was delicious- you can’t go wrong here. The breakfast buffet provided numerous options of traditional Keralan food as well as Western options. Also, you have the option to order hot food items off the menu such as appams & dosas. I did take the opportunity to use the spa services that are offered. I had a couple head massages as well as a papaya facial. Silpa provided the best spa services! She was very polite and made sure to attend to everything that I needed to make sure that I was comfortable. I highly recommend their spa!! Do not miss out on tea/coffee time in the afternoons. It is complementary & is served with a snack such as pakoda or Pazham Pori (banana fritter). This was definitely a special treat! I want to thank all of the staff who made my trip truly special. We had a lovely 2 night stay whilst exploring Kochi. The hotel was in a great location & the staff were friendly & attentive. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant , sampling the local seafood & southern Indian spices. Thank you for great stay, would highly recommend

Beautiful heritage hotel in the heart or Forte Kochi. The service was immaculate from start to finish. Comfortable room with heritage design. We had a complimentary heritage walk around the hotel in the morning, very interesting and a lovely start to your time in Cochin.

Forte Kochi delivered on everything. Beautifully restored property, excellent polite and attentive staff, great atmosphere, great rooms, decor. The in-house food was excellent - the breakfast buffet was extensive to suit every palate. Excellent Housekeeping services too. Located in Fort Kochi, the hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the seafront, cafes, restaurants and the new Water Metro. We went on the Thripunithura palace excursion which was arranged by the hotel. A great little trip to fill a morning. I also had an Ayurveda treatment which was relaxing and a new experience for me. The hotel also arranged collection from the train station and at the end of our stay arranged a drop-off at the airport. The hotel Chauffeur was also very polite and pleasant. We arrived by train in the early hours of the morning and the staff could not have been kinder in settling us into our room quickly and efficiently. This stay had been planned as a treat at the end of backpacking in South India - and it proved to be just that. We will definitely be back in the future.

The stay was really amazing. The bed and pillows were really plush and comfortable which gave me a really good night’s sleep that I really needed. The hotel staff was really nice and helpful. Special reference to Mr. Chacko who was in charge of our check-in and very helpful .
