The room was not so good because there was no cupboard and no lift in the hotel. The cushion in chairs were very dirty. We need to wait for an hour to get hot water after every person has taken bath.

Hotel is well located at seven roads junction near the Aavin parlour and just down from Tava restaurant. Room is very spacious with separate washbasin & dress change area. Spacious bathroom and toilet. Geyser available in the room - so 24 hours hot water. They provide towels and soap. Bed is medium comfortable with quilt instead of blanket Even with night weather of less than 10 C we felt warm and cozy thanks to the quilt. Room is clean and well maintained and the bathroom is clean too. They provide hot water for drinking (RO water). Corridors have cctv cameras. Though there is no in-house restaurant, there are many options nearby. Car parking available in the premises. Location: Centrally located and close to lake, shopping, bus stand etc. Only downside: on sundays a local market selling multiple items (called Sandhai in Tamil) takes place and the road on which the hotel is located gets very crowded. If you are traveling by car - keep this in mind. Smell of livestock/butchered meat lingers on another day - so keep in mind. Room itself with the doors closed does not smell. But it is only the outside.

The location of the property is towards back side of lake and it is far from main market. It is decent location and view from balcony is good. Play area for kids were missing which were available in neighborhood properties. Property is neat and clean and well managed. Unluckily the commode seat was broken in the attached bathroom, but ir was pretty clean. Complementary breakfast was kind of south indian breakfast with not much options. Dinner(paid service) was good.

Location : very good location with everything within a reachable distance, box bakery cafe which is subsidiary of kodaikanal international hotel, and has awesome food is in 100m, transportation, medical, breakfast and dinner all in a one place. Located 1km distance from kodaikanal lake as well. Staff : very good and helpful staff, who also didn't charge us for a extra time for room, as our bus was in the evening which was past our checkout time. Rooms : well lit and ventilated room, with clean bed rolls and bathrooms. Network connectivity: airtel has full network here with 5g.

We the family of four parents and two grown up children taken two rooms for two nights. Check in by 2pm, rooms were neat and clean with nice bath rooms. But the rooms are in second floor with out lift. In-spite of my request by phone on previous day, they have allotted in second floor. Hot water available 24 x7, though in hill station ac not required, but even there is no provision of fan. In these summer days we need fan at-least for some time. Room service available with limited variety menu, room boy could turn up from 7. 30am only even for morning beverages. The location is top notch. Supportive staff is good. They have voluntarily called up to get e pass to enter kodaikanal which is mandatory in this season. On the whole it was a nice stay.

The hearth is a beautiful property, with fire place in the cottages. The restaurant of this property is about 400-500m from the place, in it's neighbouring property, holiday home resort. The food is 3. 5/5. The staff is courteous. Holiday home resort is a vintage property with a small waterfall and lush green surroundings. If you stay at hearth, you can enjoy the holiday home resort common area as well. I would recommend this place for a chill environment, with less crowd and amazing views.
