Hotel terbaik di Koh Chang

Nice place with a lot of space in the room, a lot of amenities for your comfort, and a cleaning service efficient. What I did not like was the Wi-Fi not working, and it hasn't been fixed during our stay.

I was recommended to come to Bhuvarin Resort not as a hotel guest but as the restaurant guest. The location is pretty stunning and amazing, this “wow” effect. The very friendly staff was totally okay with me using the facilities (sun beds and pool) as I was eaten there. As you can expect prices are a bit more expensive but totally worst it !

Sarapan adalah sangat baik dan menyelerakan. Rasa tidak selesa untuk duduk di kerusi tinggi di tepi tingkap. Ia mempunyai pantai sendiri dan sangat mudah untuk berbaring di hotel. Terdapat banyak kedai di sekitar dan kehidupan sangat mudah. Saya akan menempah di sini lain kali saya datang ke Koh Chang.

We stayed for 2 weeks in a sea view deluxe room (403). The room was very nice with a comfortable large bed. The room is clean and well designed, with lots of space to store the suitcases and room for clothes and other stuff. We had a nice view of the sea and the street, so we could enjoy the sunset from the balcony, if we did not watch it on the beach. Every night Oodies next door played live music (blues and rock), so there was music on the balcony :-) The music was noticeable in the room, but faint, so we did not mind. Water, coffee and tea in the room was refilled every day.  The hotel has a special wooden staircase in the middle, this makes the hotel feel very open and with a lot of space as compared to long halls. On the roof there is a swimming pool and a rooftop terrace. We used the beach, but if you prefer to be out of the sand, this is a nice option. The view is very good from here, jungle and mountain on one side and the sea on the other side. The staff are the kindest and you feel very welcome and special. There is always a smile and a greeting from everybody; reception, cleaning, the kitchen or at breakfast. The breakfast buffet offer what you need whether you like Thai food, Continental or American for breakfast. You can have your coffee made to order and with a smile.  Thanks to everybody at The Erawan for great hospitality. 

Gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Bad und Bungalow waren sehr sauber. Die Damen die das Cottage führen waren super nett und haben uns sehr geholfen. Es gibt auch einen Scooterverleih zu ortsüblichen fairen Preisen. Leider kein guter Zugang zum Meer

Nice boutique hotel. I had to change the room on the last night as I added an extra stay and the toilet was flooding before I even used it, but they fixed it quite well. Could easily hear people walking in the hallways, which could be an issue for light sleepers. Pool was amazing and right on the beach!

Beautiful structure buit on stilts over the waters with one of the best seafood restaurant of Koh Chang. Large room well equiped nicely decorated and well maintained. Free kayaks to explore the bay or to spend some lovely times at the small white sand beach on Koh Phrao Nok. Best is to rent a scooter to explore the area since the roads are flat and safe on this side of the island. Not only Long Beach or Memorial Beach but Salakphet Temple, the waterfall and the mangrove forest is a must to visit !!! We had a great private tour boat at a very affordable price with several stops on different islands. Just ask the manager Khun Big and she will do her best to fulfil your expectations for a customized experience. Be aware Salakphet is a quiet traditional fishing village so do not expect bars or discos in the surroundings but is a great spot for nature lovers. We could spend only 3 days here and it was not enough to discover everything so we will come back again.

Stayed at the White Knot in Jan -24 for 5 nights and even if the hotel isn't especially old (5-10y) it's quite run down on the outside. Don't let the pictures fool you it looks nothning like the pics. The ”pool” should be called a foot-bath since it's really small, noone uses it. The reception was unmanned when we arrived and the staff hardly knows any english so took a while before we where able to check in and get our rooms. Beach is so-so with quite alot of gravel and branches and leaves. Sun chairs? naa rather ordinary plastic chairs - we went to other beaches nearby instead. On the good side - apartments/rooms are quite cosy with a fairly big bathrom, clean and realtively high standard. Internet/Wi-Fi is really good, you will get european standards in the reception area (150-200Mbps) and around 25-40Mbps in the rooms - this is among the best i've seen during our 4-week stay in Thailand. All in all you're probably better of chosing a different hotel, there are quite many in the same price range that are alot better.

I had a great time in the Lonely Beach off-season thanks to Thomas, Nils, and their people at the Lonely Beach Resort. It’s located on the main road and they have standard bar food like 🍔 & 🍕. AMAZING!!!! But Tom’s hospitality and spirit as a genuine bar man comes across very authentically. Feel blessed to have met these guys.

Das Tropical Beach ist quasi die letzte Unterkunft an der Ostküste und liegt sehr entspannt und idyllisch an einem sehr schönen Strand. Direkt an der Unterkunft ist es etwas felsig, bei Flut kann man da aber auch gut schwimmen. Rd. 300 Meter weiter wird der Strand aber schön sandig und ist steinfrei. Es ist hier insgesamt super ruhig, nicht voll und sehe schön. Gerade morgens und abends war es super entspannt. Das Resort liegt sehr schön direkt am Wasser unter Bäumen, die Bungalows sind auch Beton und daher durchgängig recht kühl. Haben durchgängig keine Klimaanlage gebraucht. Die Ausstattung ist funktional, bequemes Bett, Wasserkocher etc. Innen wäre lediglich eine zusätzliche Sitzmöglichkeit, draußen vielleicht noch eine Hängematte gut gewesen. Die Bungalows liegen recht seit auseinander, von den anderen Gästen bekommt man daher fast nichts mit. Die Anlage ist gepflegt, Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und kompetent. Parken ist direkt vor dem Resort im Schatten möglich. Durch die Lage sollte man motorisiert sein (Roller oder Auto), da es wirklich am Ende der Insel liegt. Im direkten Umfeld gibt es am Strand und im ”Hinterland” einige sehr nette Restaurants, einen Minimarkt etc. ATM oder so gibt es aber nicht, Taxi muss man dort hin bestellen (lassen), wenn man in andere Ort möchte. Die Anfahrt vom Hafen ist über die steilen und kurvenreichen Straßen toll. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Inhaber, der zeitgleich mit uns da war. Kleine Abzüge wegen der oben angesprochenen Dinge im Bungalow, die es noch gemütlicher gemacht hätten. Dazu einige Dienstleistungen vielleicht etwas überteuert (Laundry oder Beistellbett zum Beispiel), aber am Strand und den Wegen dahinter gibt es einige Orte, wo z.B. Laundry für 1/4 des Preises möglich ist ;-) Insgesamt hatten wir 6 tolle Tage in diesem schönen Resort und können einen Aufenthalt voll umfänglich empfehlen. Vorausgesetzt, dass man es ruhig und entspannt haben möchte ;-) vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!
