Amazing hotel. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. Champagne and fresh juice as much as you wanted. I got a lobster roll and eggs Benedict. Amazing! Hotel room couldn’t of been better! The jacuzzi bath perfection. Hotel couldn’t do any more. We even bought the robe and flip flops they were that comfy. Overall the hotel was lush. Would 10000% stay again. The pools and beach were so quiet which was fantastic.

My recent three-night stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was an enchanting journey, filled with an exceptional level of service that beautifully compensated for the hotel's aging facilities. From the outset, the resort's fusion of Asian and Thai architectural elegance warmly welcomed us, accentuated by the delicate blend of styles and the presence of wood-clad interior columns, real wood floors and furniture. This seamless integration of tradition and geographical context, with brick and tropical roof tiles, created a captivating atmosphere. The lush foliage and well-grown trees embraced the surroundings, creating a vivid backdrop that captured the essence of the beachfront location. While time had etched its marks on the facility, the fusion of architectural styles and natural elements into the design remained a captivating feature. Our overall experience was outstanding, even as we encountered a few unforeseen challenges. On our second night, our beachfront BBQ plans were thwarted by the weather. The staff's quick thinking and adaptability came to the forefront as they seamlessly transitioned the venue to an indoor space. The speed and willingness with which the entire BBQ setup was moved indoors showcased the dedication to providing the best service possible. Moreover, on our third night, the pool bar staff went above and beyond by suggesting a private beachfront dinner to make up for the previous night's interruption. Though this well-intentioned plan was again impacted by the weather, their commitment to ensuring our satisfaction remained unwavering. What truly set this experience apart was the unwavering dedication of the staff. Their warmth and attentiveness overshadowed any inconveniences we faced. The restaurant and bar team, led by K. Woody, Honey, and Ken, consistently exceeded our expectations. Their personalized service made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The culinary journey, particularly the breakfast led by Executive Chef Chef Seng, was a delight. Despite the aging signs of the facilities, the culinary offerings maintained an impeccable standard. The coconut water coffee, and Samui Egg Benedict were exceptional, showcasing Chef Seng's expertise in curating a blend of local and international flavors. In summary, my stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was a testament to the power of exceptional service to transcend the limitations of aging facilities. The resort's captivating fusion of architectural styles, the embracing of its environment, and the staff's dedication created a memorable retreat. The team's responsiveness, especially during weather-related interruptions, demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction. As I reflect on my stay, it is clear that the warmth of hospitality and the genuine care extended by the team are what truly define the Renaissance Koh Samui.

This was a lovely place to stay during our 9 night stay in Koh Samui. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was peaceful, with there always being plenty of space in the restaurant, bar and round the pool or in the garden area. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with lots of choices of types of dishes. Similarly, lunch and evening dining here is also good, if, maybe, a little more costly than if you were to venture out into the resort. There are a few good places within walking distance and many others a short taxi ride into Lamai proper. We definitely recommend trying a trea**ent in the Spa - we tried a traditional Thai massage, which was reasonably priced and very therapeutic. The beach was lovely and quiet. The sea, blissfully warm, although the water remained pretty shallow for some way out….not a criticism however, as it was perfectly deep enough to swim. The staff were super-helpful and friendly and definitely reinforced the Thai reputation of being ‘the Land of Smiles’. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Чтобы купаться нужно отойти. Завтрак не шикарный, но хороший - есть всё, что нужно. У отеля есть своё приложение, которое просят скачать при заселении и в нём можно заказать еду, экскурсии, попросить что-то принести в номер. Берут депозит в размере

Stayed three nights in this beautiful villa and woke up each day to spectacular views of the ocean. The resort itself was clean and well maintained. The villas were spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated. A bit far from the Central area of Samui, transportatiin could easily be arranged with the front desk. The heart of the place, I believe, lies in its staff who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From front desk, to drivers, restaurant staff, maintainance and housekeeping- everyone was friendly, polite and very accommodating. Thank you very much for a memorable stay!

Absolutely loved this hotel, the staff, the location, the pool. Cinnamon Beach Villas is isolated. If you're looking for something for night life, shopping, busy, you will need transport. It suited us perfectly. We wanted a chilled few days to ourselves before joining family members for a full vacation. The pool is great and the bar staff are attentive, friendly and fun. Food here was delicious and very reasonably priced and the restaurant offers amazing views of the sunset. We visited in December/January and the beach is very small. The staff explained that depending on the season, the sea can be up to the garden wall or way out. The water is shallow for quite a walk which makes it really safe for children. Bedrooms are clean, big and aircon worked effortlessly. Great balconies with table, chairs and clothes airer and great sea views. 10/10 to Tangmo who looks after checkins/outs and simply couldn't have made our stay more comfortable. We will definately be back. It was the perfect quiet, charming place to wind down after a busy year!

Nous avions choisi les bungalows d’une superficie de 40 m2 avec une petite terrasse et un hamac pour se détendre et c’était parfait. Je vous les recommande par rapport aux chambres même si le vue pouvait être un atout. Le petit déjeuner est simple et vous pouvez demander gaufres, omelettes, œufs brouillés à la minute. Le restaurant permet de prendre ses dîners si vous ne désirez pas vous rendre à Lamai qui est à environ 10 mn en taxi. 🚖 Le personnel est aux petits soins.

Booked a beach front bungalow and although not fronting the beach it is fairly close and has a very nice view over the bay. It is a walk up steep steps and then down steep steps to get to the small beach area. This area is good for swimming most of the day but there are some small rocks , which can be avoided. In front of my bugalow is a entry to a tiny beach area but is pretty good for swimming. The rooms are a little tired but, of course, income has been badly affected by the last 2 years. The aircon worked well, hot water via an electric water heater. My room had Netflix. A good size balcony with chairs. Some of the electric outlets were loose on the walls. Due to storms there was a power outage for a few hours on one day. The breakfasts were excellent. Other food was very good, if a little above eating places in the town. The pool isn't big enough for swimming but a good size for kids. Pool towels are provided. The resort is amongst vegetation so you will need mosquito spray when sitting outside. Also, the pond has bull frogs which are loud from 6pm to 6am so ask for a bungalow away from the pool. taxis can be booked at reception and you pay for this at reception. Very good massage two mins walk up the road. Resort staff are very nice and most helpful. Reasonable room rates and so, on a personal level I can recommend. Just do not expect 5 star.

For the price I paid (35€ per night), Beach republic was ok. But there were issues that made me think that I would not spend there more than those 3 nights I booked. Only saltwater pool. Beach in front of resort is really unattractive. No channels in TV. Netflix is there if you have credentials. Person responsible of cleanings should be fired. Nobody had cleaned bathroon thoroughly for ages. Dozens of dead flies and bugs by the small window in the bathroon. Toilet doesnt work properly. Only every other flushing really takes your ”thing” out of the bowl. During check in nobody told me that rooms are not cleaned (new towels, toilet paper, water, garbage away) automatically. Nobody told me that I should put some sign outside my door for cleaner. There was no sign in my room. + sides were comfortable bed, big balcony and walking distance to Nonna restaurant🤩 in general Lamai beach area was disappointing so there is no need to use Beach republic again.

The hotel is under renovation and is not technically open currently but they honored our booking. The bungalows were very clean and spacious. The pool is right on the beach with beach access. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s on a main road, but the area is quiet. 7/11, family mart, Lamai beach and street food all a short walk away. No complaints and would stay again.
