Ulasan Aloha Resort

This is my favorite hotel in Thailand, hands down! Definitely a huge recommendation from me! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. No hair dryer, but I didn't really need one. There's a balcony with a wooden drying rack, a small table, and two chairs. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, as we ate at local cafes, and the prices were reasonable for the island. Everything is within walking distance. Right around the corner, to the right, there's a wonderful cafe with amazing duck dishes. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and polite. Housekeeping and towel changes were done daily. Everything was clean. The only downside was the lack of a view from the window – just a wall. However, the beach and pool, just a two-minute walk away, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel more than made up for it. A big thank you! We will definitely be back!

The hotel has a good location, and Lamai Beach is nice. The hotel grounds are beautiful and green.

Good hotel, amazing location. But breakfast was all the same all days. Should be more options. The room inside is also very old, needs renovation.

Excellent hotel right on the beach. The furniture is a bit dated and there aren't many sun loungers, but everything else is great, and the staff are friendly. The room has a gorgeous view, and the grounds are beautiful. There are plenty of cafes nearby, it's a 20-minute walk to the night market, and there are laundromats and a 7/11 close by. The entry into the water from the beach is comfortable, and the beach itself is clean and uncrowded. Breakfasts are decent; not much variety, but there's enough to choose from (different types of eggs, fruit, toast – but no porridge, cheese, and the sausages are spicy). In the room, there's not much light (just one light in the hallway and bedside lamps), and there aren't many power outlets, none near the bed. Housekeeping is daily. They don't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste. The towels are a bit thin but not a big deal. The hotel is consistent with a 3-star rating.

The hotel is a little bit older, but for the price and location you cannot go wrong. Price quality this place is very good.

The hotel is on the 1st line, the sea is a minute away. There is a cafe, money exchange, travel agencies, laundry, bike rental, massage parlor nearby. The room is cleaned every day, I recommend the bungalow, the breakfasts are good. Of the minuses, the air conditioner is very noisy, there is no safe, hair dryer.

Very cosy hotel with big rooms and excellent staff. Need some renewing in some places but still very good hotel. The location is great and nice and relaxing atmosphere.

This was my first time on Koh Samui, and my first stay at this hotel was from December 25th-31st, 2025. The view was magnificent, there was a pool, and massages on site were incredibly affordable. The sea was clean, the staff were superb, and Wi-Fi was available throughout the property. I returned here from January 4th-6th, 2026, and was even more impressed, having experienced other areas and hotels in just a few days before deciding to come back. This time, I had a room with two balconies and sun loungers, and a bathroom with a sea view – simply stunning. A major plus for this side of the beach is that the sun rises directly opposite the hotel, so nothing obstructs it all day long. Nearby, there are food markets with inexpensive and delicious food, as well as a Russian restaurant and an exchange office that accepts Russian cards.

Great position right on a nice part of the beach. Lovely clean swimming pool. Staff at the pool bar friendly. We were in the old building and the room was very dark when the sun went down. There was no way to read in your room after dark with so few lights. Air con was noisy . Had a great balcony and I would stay again just take my torch and ear plugs.

It was clean and good location! Would stay here again in the future.

Amazing beautiful hotel and rooms, service with a smile and the happy laughter of Som makes your day the best. I will recommend this hotel to everybody and hope to get back in the future  The sunrise and sunset are to fall in love with

Do not recommend the place, dust is everywhere , as well as bugs on the floor, the place needs some renovation, but location is perfect
