So good!! We loved the trip, the surin is an amazing classic hotel. Food is amazing too, visited in may and i guess we got lucky but the weather and sunsets were out of this world

Lovely place, room elegantly designed with organic hand soap, his and hers style hat for the beach etc Breakfast has alot on offer with buffet and a la carte. Only problem I had was with the sun bed. Their new system of reserving for your stay. I was on one that wasn’t reserved and had to suddenly move having settled into it. When I reserved the next sun-bed someone was using it on the third morning I was checking out but had a few hours to spare (being that we had rain, thunder most of the day prior and didn’t go to beach).The guy that reserved it never asked how long my stay was or when it would come available again.

My wife and I loved this resort. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and everything was done with a lot of thought. We arrived at the resort at 12am in the night and they had prepared some complimentary food for us because the restaurant closes at 11pm. The location is just amazing for a resort, they have their own private beach. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, they got both the buffet option and also an a la carte buffet menu. I normally hate hotel breakfasts but this one was just too good. We had dinner at their Beach Restaurant and it was amongst some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. To top it off there is a really smart and friendly cat that roams the hill side. We loved her so much, we’ll definitely have to come back to see her.

We came to The Surin for the beach: it is gorgeous, and not less importantly, very private. Rooms are rather basic for a luxury resort, but functional and clean (in any case, it didn't matter much, as we were spending all days at the beach). The restaurants and bar (as well as the pool) could use a refresh, as their style feels very outdated and not luxurious. As a result, we ate our dinner at the hotel only once (and the food was excellent), and went outside for all other evenings. Another highlight of our stay was the fantastic team and a very attentive service (though breakfasts were a bit hectic).

Possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The staff were incredible. The breakfasts overlooking the beach were excellent - the abundant, high quality mango (and other fruits) and authentic Thai options were highlights. The beach and pool area were very relaxing, particularly with a cocktail in hand - half-price happy hour is 3-4pm. The Surin is the perfect place to relax and forget the world!

The personnel is great, kind, helpful. The location is perfect. I was alone, staying in their beautiful secluded beach. No complaints. Would come back.

Without question, this property (along with the incredibly lux Amanpuri next door) fronts the best beach on mainland Phuket.

I was on cloud nine during the stay at the hotel. Such a warm welcome by all staff, the room is beautifully unique with phenomenal sea views that I enjoyed in the morning. I really love breakfast as well and I would say that Thai breakfast is amazing delicious! I’m planning to go back soon!

A superb hotel with the main foundation being a superb staff

Simply Amazing! Our recent family vacation at the Surin was perfect! I couldn’t fault the resort even if I wanted to. At every instance the wonderful location, friendly staff and beautiful amenities impressed beyond expectations. We cannot wait to return and we’re very sad at having to leave.

The private beach of the hotel is just stunning! The bungalows are spacey enough and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere of the lobby and restaurant could be arranged a little more welcoming, the staff is friendly.

the service is great, and the beach almost a private beach...it has family mart near by, walked by 5mins, just hard for old parents walked around from rooms to rooms.

A very pleasant stay with great breakfast and spectacular private beach.
