Great place for most people romantic meal with entertainment or a later night party! I came with my partner we’re in the 35+ age range and we enjoyed a reasonably priced tasty meal, watched the fire show which I believe is every evening at 8pm. It was a cool addition to the evening and was good entertainment. We left around 9 as it was wrapping up. Would definitely go again. The bear bar area is cool vibes. A bit Ibiza beach club vibe, trendy lights and tunes but not too bold or in your face. You have a romantic dinner. If you want to stay on and party and be wild I’m certain that’s a an option but it’s not my partners thing so we left. All staff were friendly and we were overall very happy

Booked a 2 night stay at the J4 Samui hotel, got in late from our flight, room clean & alright on third floor, unfortunately above bar area with rock band playing until late, no chance of sleep after 10 hours of flights, also granite like bed. Breakfast the next morning great at accompanying Chewang Beach Resort. Thankfully the staff there were great & upgraded to one of there rooms in a much quieter area down from the J4, could not fault the room, resort facilities & location.

Great Boutique hotel in Chaweng. Excellent value. The room were sparking clean and has everything one needs including beach towels and umbrellas. There is a pool but not gym which is fine. It is centrally located. The breakfast is OK but sufficient. Had a quick dinner meal one night since it was raining and had a long day and did not want to venture out to the many restaurants in the area. There was no one else so we did not have high expectations but the meals were excellent and my friend raved about the drink he got. The entire staff were excellent and so kind. Front desk were efficient and warm. The concierge had GREAT recommendations on tours. We took all the ones she recommended and were not disappointed. This part of Chaweng beach is OK. Not a swimmers beach, more of a just a dip in the ocean place. I was not able to take advantage of the Kayak but did that anyway on one of the tours we took. I love Samui and will definitely return and if staying in Chaweng will definitely want to be at The Stay again.

The large hotel has modern and very clean rooms and a very good room service. The TV in my room did not work. The swimming pool is very nice but unfortunately there is no gym available. You can rent a motorbike there for 300 baht per day (quite expensive) but unfortunately the staff there is not easy to reach when you wanna return the bike. You can park the bike at the nearby Central shopping mall which is quite complicated because the parking space is very narrow. All in all I would recommend the hotel!

Overall it was fine, good value but not amazing. Downsides were a very hard bed that could only be minimally improved with a mattress pad and loud noise from nearby clubs till early morning. When problems arose, like the room key not working, the staff worked quickly to try and fix the problem. The breakfast was very good, private beach and service were great, AC worked well in the rooms, and the cleaning staff did a great job every day. I won’t stay here again, but only because of the bed. That’s a dealbreaker for me.

Nous avons réservé pour 2 semaines via booking, nous sommes partis le lendemain. Chambre sombre,trace de moisissures sur les murs et dans la salle de bain,humidité dans les draps et une porte d entrée avec poignée cassée qui meme fermee laisse apparaitre un ecart monstre pour le passage des moustiques.pas de petits dej proposés dans l hôtel,nous avons préféré écourté notre séjour pour ne pas gâcher nos vacances.je n ai même pas demandé ni un rembour*****t ni un changement de chambre.hotel qui peut convenir aux jeunes puisque c est en plein centre et à 2 pas des discothèques.la personne a l accueil n à même pas été étonnée lors de notre départ quand on lui a fait voir les photos et expliquer la raison de notre départ.

Absolutely love the bungalows surrounded by trees and a beautiful garden, not like the concrete hotels with no shade and stuffy staff Montien is so clean and restaurant food is delicious.. I have been staying here for over 15 years and always go back. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and respectful and remember you from years ago. Massage ladies at front on the beach are so lovely. I’ve stayed at many properties on Samui and this is by far my favourite. Not 5 star but everything you Need for a relaxing, fun filled holiday. Families, couples and singles it’s the perfect place to stay.

Such a wonderful resort with the best staff ever. It is situated on the best part of Chaweng Beach and only a short walk to the centre of Chaweng. The initial stay (2weeks) was such a happy experience we decided to return to the Baan after visiting another island for a further week! From check in at the Baan the reception desk staff were so genuinely helpful and pleasant, very efficient check in with a welcome drink each and then shown to our room which was spotless and fresh. The breakfast staff, Tan, Sonny and team were fabulous, couldn’t do enough for us, so genuinely wonderful with a great sense of humour, very personal attention each day. The young ladies who made up our room did a wonderful job, the room was fresh and faultless every day, I’ve never seen a bed made as well as they do here! Speaking of bed it was soo comfortable and the aircon worked a treat. The room was smallish with minimal storage space but sufficient. We have been to the Baan 10 times now over the years and it has never failed to impress. A quality resort with a wonderful pool, so clean and the water is balanced perfectly. In five weeks away the Baan was the high lite. Thank you to all for making a stay so wonderful!!!
