We didn't stay there but did pay to use the pool and had dinner in the restaurant. The location is stunning with an amazing view across the bay, where you can see turtles from the pool if you are lucky! You pay 500 Baht to use the pool and are provide with a towel. This (the 500 Baht) is offset against your bar bill. We also ate in the restaurant - an amazing location with great views of the sunset, wonderful food and top service. I'd love to stay there one day. It is a little off the beaten track but as a result is very peaceful.

We stayed at Coral View Resort for 9 nights, and it was one of the best stays we've ever had at any resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurant is fairly priced and tastes good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is spectacular. I really can't say enough good things about our stay at Coral View Resort. The location is far away from the main port, so it was fairly isolated, which is what we wanted. The resort was under some renovation during our stay, so there weren't many people there and the beach bar was closed, but that didn't take away from the loveliness of our stay. Aye, the shuttle driver, was extraordinarily accommodating and friendly and was one of the high points of our stay. The beach, which was a 2 minute walk from our bungalow, was absolutely gorgeous, and the water is crystal-clear with plenty of fish to view while snorkeling. There's a resort right next to Coral View, so there was a lot of cross-interaction with the people staying there, which was nice. There's also a dive shop right next to the resort called CV Divers, and you can rent gear from the owner; he was also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Coral View Resort to anyone looking for a great getaway.

We had an awful experience at the Seashell dive centre attached to the hotel, and are now out of pocket for 22,000 baht for courses that we couldn’t complete due to the behaviour of the centre manager. We booked and paid upfront for a day of fun dives and 2 AOW courses. After an awful experience where I became very cold and sick on the fun dives due to poor weather conditions and inappropriate kit, we asked to be refunded for the AOW or to wait until conditions were calmer. The manager said that we could not be refunded but could wait for calmer conditions and we extended our time by another week in order to wait for things to calm down. However, the following day we popped into the centre and the managers attitude was completely different, he was rude and difficult and following some very unpleasant interactions with him over the following few days, we took the decision to not go forward with the course. One of the instructors who witnessed the managers behaviour apologised on his behalf giving the excuse that he was in a bad mood as had broken up with his girlfriend ! It was evident that once he had our money, that he had no interest in delivering our course or providing any level of customer care. On the fun dive, kit was poor, with a thin shorty wetsuit provided that was not suitable for the weather conditions, no boots, fins that were too small as they didn’t have any other sizes. Our instructor however was dressed in a full wetsuit and boots etc as said he tends to get cold. There was no provision of snorkels despite PADI guidance stating that these are an essential piece of safety equipment and no basic first aid care / procedures provided for cold, sick customers. When we asked for snorkels, we were told that they are unnecessary and just get in the way. The manager has refused to give his name and diver number despite repeated requests which raises further alarm bells and he ignored all initial emails and messages. Finally, we received a response whereby he said that we had booked onto the course on 3 occasions and not attended. This was completely untrue as no date had been set for us to do it at all. The hotel (who we paid for the course) have not responded to any emails or messages in relation to our complaint and couldn’t have been less interested when I raised it with the reception staff at checkout. My advice is that if you go to Seashell hotel, please AVOID the dive centre. You might be ok if everything is straightforward and you get a good instructor, but if there is a problem then don’t expect any level of care or compassion. We had travelled to Koh Tao to do some fun dives and complete our AOW courses. Our experience at seashell dive centre has ruined our trip to this island. After some detective work, we have established that the dive centre managers name is Hasan Can Toker . I wonder what his reasons for hiding this are ! Again, not the actions of a professional and transparent dive centre manager. As for the hot

The rooms were lovely, nicely decorated and clean. The pool area is huge with multiple sections to choose from including a warmer jacuzzi section. The swim up bar is a cool feature and the staff were always around ready to help. It was quiet when we were there and staff were always cleaning the pool and surrounding area. The restaurant does really nice Thai food and good shakes. We enjoyed sitting on the beach bean bags which are free for the hotel guests. The rooms are cleaned every day. Highly recommend staying here

Очень хороший, чистый, с архитектурными задумками отель. Классная ванная комната с мощным душем. Удобная кровать. Расположен посередине улицы, в равной удаленности от пирса и конца улицы. Рядом же свой ресторан, популярные клубы. Есть магазин в 5 минутах, 7/11 в 10 минутах, а также магазины все для морских прогулок. Персонал всегда был готов помочь. Бесплатно довезли до пирса на обратном пути. Рекомендую!

We stayed in what we could see used to be a good hotel with a pool, dive center, breakfast restaurant and a really good beach. But it seemed like it had been a bit neglected throughout covid (as you maybe would expect) and that would be fine normally but it was like they did not even know we were coming and were not prepared. The area was a bit deserted so we ended up renting a motorbike to go to the center of Mae Haad to eat etc. With the motorbike it was a fine place to stay as we just used it to sleep, but for a resort we expected more. We reserved and paid for a cottage/bungalow, but that wasn't worth it as we ended up moving to one of the cheaper rooms due to many ants in the room that we could not get rid of.

We had a great stay at Tarna Align. The staff are so LOVELY, every single one of them, especially to my little girl. It is a little uphill, but it is worth it for the views - the little golf buggy/tuk tuk is great for taking you up and down to the main strip and we found it was always out and about and we would just jump on and off it. We got a great room with a huge balcony. It was clean and huge. Breakfast was really good, the man at the egg station was lovely and I liked the way you could order coffees, their fresh smoothies were delicious. Although a little uphill from the main strip I really think you would struggle to get this quality of hotel for the price. Would recommended.

What a great place to stay on Koh Tao. Our bungalow was perfect for island living. Only complaint was the lack of a chair to sit at the desk with (just used a night stand). Two nice pools built into the natural landscape. “Tom” the concierge was very helpful in all matters. Thanks Tom. Breakfast was mostly western and might I add their bacon was amazing. We extended three days after the first three went too fast.

Our room was in the jungle house, which was a little.further than I anticipated when booking, but actually turned out to be amazing. Quiet, beautiful location. Spacious room with a wonderful view. Friendly and helpful staff. Close enough to walk to the action around Sairee Beach. They also.provided a shuttle buggy to/from the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Ich kann das Hotel absolut nicht weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel war wohl 4 Jahre geschlossen und hat im Dezember 2023 neu aufgemacht. Es befindet sich in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die Zimmer sind veraltet, die Anlage verdreckt und immer noch im Bau. Überall fliegen Baumaterialen rum. Wir hatten erst keinen Küh Wir haben das Chalet/Bungalow gebucht. Das gebuchte Chalet mussten wir bei Ankunft sofort verlassen, da der Geruch sehr streng war. Die Dame im Hotel meinte, dass 1 Tag davor frisch gestrichen wurde. Hier frage ich mich warum man dies dann überhaupt den Gästen anbietet. Nachdem wir nach über einer Stunde warten ein Zimmer in einer niedrigen Kategorie bekommen haben wurden wir erneut negativ überrascht. Die Klimaanlage wurde nicht richtig kühl, es gab kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, kein Safe, kein Föhn, keine Duschabtrennung im Bad. Die Ausstattung sehr alt. Der Fernseher funktioniert nicht. Es befinden sich keine Schränke im Zimmer um die Kleidung zu verstauen. Das einzelne Bett befindet sich direkt neben dem Doppelbett & nicht wie im Chalet gebucht separat mit einer Abtrennung im Raum. Auch die Hotelanlage ist grauenhaft. Alles befindet sich noch im Umbau. Dies wurde von booking leider nirgends vermerkt.Es laufen mehrere Bauarbeiter rum. Überall liegt Baumaterial. Das Zimmer wurde nicht einmal gesäubert. Keine frischen Handtücher. Nach meiner Beschwerde kam dann eine Dame die unser Zimmer reinigen wollte. Das war dann nun leider zu spät da wir schon wieder los mussten. Die Mitarbeiter im Hotel sind zwar sehr nett, jedoch können sie uns bei den oben genannten Mängeln nicht weiterhelfen. Dieses Hotel entspricht maximal einem 1-2 Sterne Hotel & nicht wie bei booking beschrieben ein 4-Sterne Hotel. Die Renovierung müsste erst abgeschlossen werden bevor man dies Gästen anbieten.
