MMaria Perez TThe location is nice and quiet, walking distance to other restaurants through the beach. The beach is very nice, clean and good for kids especially when the tide is low.
Our Cabana was spacious, beautiful, although a bit dark. The water pressure was low and we didn’t have hot water. We asked them to fix it but it didn’t happen on time before our check-out. We stayed for two nights.
The pool has a waterfall, and it looks a little run down. Nice view to the sea from the pool, though.
The breakfast (included) was ok. Fruits, bread, but not many options for vegetarian/vegans in the menu. Dinners were good. Overall, a beautiful hotel, kind staff, great location, maintenance response could be better.

The staff at Tatoa Resort were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, offering a variety of local and international dishes that catered to all tastes. The resort also offers a range of activities, from relaxing spa treatments to exciting outdoor adventures, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploration.
Overall, Tatoa Resort exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

- Lonely island feeling far from the world.
It's a must to stay to avoid the crowd of 11am/2pm and have a chunk of paradise for yourself outside those hours. Particularly to avoid the queue to climb the hill.
- Amazing sunset and view from the top of the hill every day.
- The staff was so caring and nice. Particularly mister Tei and miss Been while I became sick the last day.
- Diving center right on your doorstep.
- free shuttle boat to Koh Tao every day if you miss the civilization
- every bungalow have good orientation for the view.
- internet was ok.
- The shower pressure might bother some but it's not a problem under this weather.
It would be better to start to pay attention of the effect of the crowd on the nature to preserve it though. The people coming for 2/3h are so careless(i saw shoes, straw, bottles...even socks! Forgotten)
Maybe best to raise the price of the room and only allow resort resident to enter, to control the flow of people on the island without losing revenue.

VVolodya V.We stayed at the hotel in mid-May, it is not the season, there were few guests at the hotel. The hotel provides a free transfer from and to the ferry. It is not long to get to the hotel, just cross the island. The hotel is located on a steep cliff, at the top there are several buildings, and bungalows on the slope, in several tiers. The climb is quite steep, you do not go to your room from the beach - all movement is along endless stairs. Even lower there is a public road along the sea, along which sometimes a lonely motorcycle passes, behind it, hanging over the sea, is the hotel pool, from which there is a path to the site with an entrance to the sea. However, during our stay this site was not working, on the path to it there was a blockage: there was construction work there, they were also carried out by the pool. The bar by the pool was closed, water was pouring from the shower, but there was no shower head, but the toilet was functioning! If you walk 300 m along the road to the right and go down to the sea - there will be a small bay where you can sunbathe and swim. Right from the shore there is a large coral reef, so the bay serves as a starting point for snorkeling. The room is clean, quite old in furniture and design, but the TV is new, air conditioning and refrigerator work well. The bathroom is not very big, the plumbing has already outlived its usefulness, and there is very little light. The room itself is a good size and an even larger loggia with a couple of chairs, which together with the panoramic windows creates the feeling of a very spacious room. The view from the loggia to the sea is simply fantastic, because you are at a great height! And we got a corner room, the view opened in two directions! Of the disadvantages: a resort hotel, but they forgot about drying towels and clothes. You have to dry things on chairs. An attempt to hang shorts to dry on the railing ended with them being searched for the next morning in the thickets of bushes under the hotel. A hotel employee helped, a plus in the column about the staff's work. There is no general Wi-Fi network and you need to register in each zone: if you are near the router, everything works fine, but there are a lot of dead zones. Our room was like this, we had mobile internet, but the big new TV didn't work, because it received a signal via Wi-Fi, or rather, it didn't receive it. Of course, the staff couldn't solve the problem with the non-working TV. The hotel restaurant is very nice, with all-round glazing and a gorgeous view on three sides. The food was worse, a minimal buffet plus eggs in different variations to order. On the first day in the morning there were a little more people than usual, apparently a small group of German tourists was leaving, there was some chopped mango on the buffet, which ran out with them. We asked when they would bring more, and received the answer that there would be no more mango. We had an emotional conversation with the hostess in the restaurant: mango was suddenly found... During the other two breakfasts it didn't appear at all: apparently, during our first breakfast, supplies for several days were finished. The pancakes were undercooked, the coffee and tea were from a barrel, you just can't drink them! Hot dishes are minimal and they don't bring new ones. We had dinner at the restaurant of the neighboring hotel (View Point Resort), it is located on the seashore, to the left along the road. The restaurant has quite reasonable prices, restaurant quality and service, works for everyone, is marked on Google maps (The Cape). On the same road, 200 m away, there is a small family store where you can buy water, beer, chips, etc. Prices are like in a local 7-Eleven, and in a local 7-Eleven they are a third higher than on the mainland. If you go this way during the day, then after passing through the hotel you will go to the shore and moving to the left along the beach, stones, and through the Happy Monk bar, and then along the footbridge towards solid land, you will find yourself in a local village around a fairly large bay with hotels and diving centers. There are several ATMs, a real 7-Eleven and many small local restaurants. This path can only be done during the day, but not at night. Overall the hotel left a good impression, the sea view makes up for many of the shortcomings and we would stay there again.

KKevinGthis hotel isn't worth its price. if you want something comfortable, pick something else.
the good: it is family run so the staff is helpful (late checkout), they speak a bit of english. The room is clean and overall it's acceptable.
the bad:
- i felt a total lack of security. The checkin is at the ground floor, then the rooms start from 1 to 4 floor. all floors are accessible by a staircase which is directly accessible to anyone from the main road. Basically there is no garden/private area, the checkin office and the staircase are simply on the road. There is no staff after 8pm and the hotel is situated a little in the back of the town. So basically anyone can walk up the stairs. Then the door locker is really bad, there is no second security lock (which most hotels have) so this is innaceptable due to the fact that the room door is basically accessible to anyone from outside.
- the shower isn't great, the water is hot all day long (by sun) so no way to take a fresh shower at day. at night or early morning, the water is cold (or have to wait at least 5min to drain the water out)
- the hotel is pretty basic. for the same price you can have a swimming pool in another hotel..

LLEIHighly recommended 👍👍👍. More than two kilometers away from the pier, but there is a free car to pick up and drop off. The beach is beautiful, very comfortable, calm and quiet, swimming is very comfortable, very suitable for children to play in the water. The resort has its own diving training, and it is suitable for those who want to learn diving. The restaurant near the sea is delicious and cheap, the boss and staff are warm and friendly, and the price is cheap.

What I didn't like is that the photos do not match reality and the Risort is still under construction, it has great potential but it has many things to improve, the bed is not comfortable at all for the price paid, the decoration of the room It is very basic, it does not make you feel like you are in a superior Risort which is what you see in the photos, you will have the views, but do not expect great comforts, then it is built on a cliff and the hill to go to the exit of the Telita hotel hahahaha I find this difficult for older people, even though I believe that if it were home they have a golf cart in which they took our suitcases that could be used**** to help the elderly.
Another good thing and I recommend yes or yes is taking the boat from the hotel to the small island next door, it is 3 minutes but it is an incredible place that you cannot miss if you go, they also offer the option of renting a motorcycle, which is super good because you already pick it up from the hotel and when you leave you can leave it right there. That saves you the trip to another motorcycle agency of which there are a thousand!
In short, I recommend it because the stay, if I compare it overall, was good but don't expect great luxuries.

GGuest UserAccommodation is around a 5/10 minute drive from the pier that you get dropped too, a 5 minute drive from the main nightlife areas in the town and has a lovely view looking across the sea from the room. Would definitely recommend if you want to be out of the main area but close enough to get there within 10 minutes.
Only downside which is of no fault of anyone’s but the islands is that the accommodation was up a big hill. To drive is no problem, however we walked it the first night and it was a killer. This however is should not deter you, was a lovely place and would highly recommend. (Just get a bike/car)
