The Panash Hotel & Banquets

Below average hotel- congested, small rooms. We had booked four rooms. In some rooms, Double bed cot is kept touching the wall. If the one sleeping on wall side has to come out from the bad, either he had to crawl over the other person or the other person also has to come out from the bed. No sufficient space for luggage. Cheap plywood shelves and tables. Wash basin counter is small, no place to keep toiletries. However, Room and bath room are kept clean lean. No buffett dinner. Dinner is limited to few items. No much choice. Same dish kept in fridge is reheated and served next day. It was evident because some part of the fish and chicken served second day was still cold as it was not sufficiently heated. Buffett break fast is very average, had only few choices. Trays are refilled after long waiting. Though hotel is located in busy market area, there is no good restaurant nearby. Have to depend up on hotel food only. Hotel is not a good choice if you are with family and looking for a comfortable stay.

Fraud and Irresponsible ***agement I completed my booking with Agoda for 3 days and made a 100% advance payment. I contacted them on WhatsApp regarding the booking and they confirmed that it was confirmed. I called them again 3-4 days later to ask about my booking and they told me it was still confirmed. However, when I called them yesterday at 7 pm, they told me that my booking was okay. I traveled from Darjeeling to check in at 5 pm but the ***ager rudely replied to me saying “Your booking is canceled. We mailed Agoda 2 days ago. Call Agoda and resolve the problem.” I felt so helpless. Where do I go at this hour? I asked him why he had replied to me yesterday that my booking was okay but he didn’t say anything. He only replied that there were “technical problems.” But the truth is that he gave away all available rooms to a group. In front of me, a large group checked in. This ***ager is totally incapable and should be punished. I wish nobody faces the kind of harassment that I faced. Avoid this hotel.

A new hotel located in a busy area. The room was small, so is the toilet but clean. The noise from outside in the evening and inside inmates in the corridoor disturbed our sleep till 4:30 am. Good only for those who do wedding or reception there. The breakfast was pathetic. Only conflakes and no cups for tea, even after waiting for 25 minutes. A totally mis***aged property. Regret the stay there.

First Impression Is The Lat Impression. Called at Jan 07, approx 11 AM IST. Front Desk Staff Was Very Rude At Call and dont know how to speak with a customer. So CANCELLED the Reservation And Booked Some Where Else.

During the puja time we wanted to stay in a well connected place hence chose this area, this was the best rated property in the area hence booked it for 10 days , it is a new property, very neat, friendly and helpful staff, as we had two small kids, we needed extra support and they did all that we requested.Every one was very warm and welcoming especially Sashi Gupta.
