Kris Mari

I have been going to the cleopatra hotels For 20 years! But this year was the first time on my own. I must admit I was a bit nervous. I must compliment all the staff in the Kris Mari . Also Mary from the Cleopatra Reservations was a great help in changing my room , Rena and her Husband at reception were fabulous, I got a great upgraded room that suited my disability’s . Although no cooked breakfast there was a great selection ! And as much as I as you want! I totally recommend this hotel and also the other Cleopatra hotels, The Kris mari has a great easy access to the pool . I have booked for next year again Angus Ramsay

This hotel is improving day on day. It is ideally situated in kardamena, kos. Lovely pool area, great restaurant. Our room was a good size with a modern bathroom ( has been updated in the past few years). Has a fridge and tv ...a kettle in the room would be a nice added extra ( these can be rented for 15 euros a week). I always opt for Seaview room when I visit and the view is great. Staff are friendly abs always happy to help. 5 out 5 for this hotel once again....having visited this hotel for over 15 years...

Well we stayed at the kris maria part of the cleopatra group they have three hotels which you can use all the facilities in each of them fantastic food Well presented hotels you get a Greek breakfast in the morning and you can order your evening meals at the restaurant very friendly and polite

We stayed at Kris Mari for the second time this year. We enjoyed 18 nights 6-25th August and have booked for next year too. The hotel rooms are basic but very comfortable and clean. Every day, the beds were made up or changed, always immaculate. Breakfast is continental which suits us as we like to swim a lot at the lovely beach so prefer not to eat a heavy meal so early, anyway, plenty of fruit and toast, spreads etc, definitely enough. The pool area is nice, we honestly didn’t spend a lot of time there but when we did, there was a lovely relaxed vibe, nice music and all the staff are friendly and helpful, the pool snack/drinks bar was adequate and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The proximity to the beach, shops, tavernas etc is only a 5-10 min walk depending on whereabouts you want to go. Mostly, I would like to give the reception staff a shout out, they were extremely helpful with all our enquiries throughout our stay and we were made very welcome, this allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our summer holiday. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Kris Mari and we look forward to seeing you next year.

Stayed here as my daughter was getting married up the road from this hotel. I wish I stayed in her hotel now. Firstly, the staff are amazing! Very friendly and helpful. We first turned up to an extra charge for the air conditioning which in hindsight, we would have been better off leaving the fridge door open. It took ages to cool the room and in doing so, made the balcony like a swimming pool. The when we leave the room, the a/c turns off so on our return the room was like a furnace again! Expensive and pointless. The wasn’t any air con in any part of the hotel either. There were no facilities to make tea or coffee, not even cups to use to drink water. No shampoo, or shower gel either. Just 2 tiny bars of soap. The breakfast was pitiful to be honest. Cold boiled eggs, a bit of salad and some bread. That’s about it. No tea facilities again so you were stuck with coffee or orange juice. On the plus side, there was a robot waiter! I would have preferred the money being spent on air con though. The evening meal was ok. It did look like it came out of a microwave though. You had the option to upgrade but of course, at a cost! I would go to Kos again but I wouldn’t stay at this hotel, too many hidden charges. I can’t really comment on the pool as I could never get a seat but I presume all the towels on the empty sun loungers had a great time! Something needs to be done about the “reservation” of sun loungers when nobody is there using them. If it wasn’t for the staff, I would have marked it lower

Brilliant location, right by beach, shops, bars and restaurants. We spent 2 days lounging by the pool and 2 by the beach. We were pleasantly surprised that you dont have to pay for beach sunbeds, you just have to spend some money in the bar that owns them, so we had lunch and drinks and the Sunbeam bar which was great. At the hotel the outside area is fantastic. The hotel pics need updating as they have excellent high quality wooden sunloungers now which were really comfortable! The bar opens at 10 and the milkshakes were very popular and delicious (only €4)! Also there is ice creams, food and cocktails all great value. The room was very basic, included a fridge and balcony, the shower was basically a tiny tray on the floor with a curtain and hand held shower hose, showering one handed was quite difficult, but I've seen this in Greece before, so no major issues, it was all very clean! The most disappointing thing was the breakfast - after booking B&B I was hoping for much more choice, but ended up having toast or cheese or toast every day. We were told we could use hotel over the road too, so we went there thinking they would have a better breakfast, but it was exactly the same. At 10am you can pay for and order a decent breakfast, it's a shame it wasn't included. Overall for the price we paid (£499pp - 5 nights in Aug) It was good value for money and a lovely Greek holiday!
