This is just a lovely place. From the rooms, the beaches, the service, the food, the landscaping: just about everything is perfect. The two of us stayed in Deluxe Pavilion 309; this had a nice view of the greenery around us from the 2nd floor large window. We preferred not to sit in the patio area on the 1st floor because of a lack of privacy. The two main beaches (Phranang and Railay) are both lovely, we preferred swimming in Phranang and walked on both of them, Phranang was about a 10 minute walk for us and Railay about a 5 minute walk. The walks through the property are just lovely, they have done a fantastic job of landscaping with all kind of tropical plants, but we also took advantage of the golf cart rides when it was raining. The breakfast (which is included) is served till 11 am and has a lot of nice a la carte and buffet style options. We didn't go the Grotto (did not look so special to us and seemed overpriced), but ate at the other two hotel restaurants: Krua Phranang and Raitalay Terrace; both were excellent (and had lovely views of the beach) and we also enjoyed the cocktails at the 4-6 pm happy hour at Raitalay Terrace. The swimming pool is lovely and also has a great veiw of Railay beach. The service at Rayavadee was just exceptional; we want to give a shout out to Joy, who was our server during breakfast, she was just fantastic. We were here during the off-season, the prices are a little lower, and while it did rain a fair amount when were here, we still got to the beach a couple of times a day. All in all, a fantastic stay, we will be back.

Resort is set amidst a Beautiful & Picturesque location,away from the hustle and bustle of other busy resort destinations. The entrance to the resort is quite an Adventure! Ideal for a relaxing & quiet family vacation. Warm & Friendly staff, always glad to help with a smile . Well maintained rooms and amenities, could do with a bit of modernisation and luxury to match the price. Sumptuous Buffet Spread! Food Quality and Service at all the F&B Outlets was splendid. Super Cocktails! Fantastic” Instagramable”views of the ocean from the rooms and the swimming pool.!, Hence Didn't feel the need to venture out of the resort ! Would definitely come back again

Perfect location and easy to find from the pier. Clean and the rooms are made up everyday. Resort does not sell alcohol but you can buy it and take it to your room / pool-side /..... Resort is right in front of the ocean. Relax on the beach or near the pool-side. There are 2 ways to get to Walking Street from the hotel. Both are easy, depending on whether you're near the pier or near breakfast area. Walking on the beach (near breakfast area) to Walking Street is less than a 2 minute walk.

Located right on the beach front, this resort is quite authentic and feels like luxury camping almost, as each individual villa is surrounded by a pond and plants which are home to many animals such as frogs, geckos and crickets. The room was very clean and mostly well equipped (no hairdryer though). considering the location, housekeeping do a great job keeping insects and lizards out the rooms! It really is an experience to stay at a place like this. The only issue with the room was that the air conditioning control doesn’t work, it was just either on or off so I was unable to change the fan speed to low or put it into night mode to make sleep easier. The mattress was also very firm which may not be to everyone’s taste. As such I have to drop my rating from 5 to 4 stars.

The hotel is perfect ! have two amazing infinity pools, location is perfect near from everything and the room was comfortable and big enough, we enjoyed our time, the service and the stuff was very friendly and helpful, the only thing about this hotel was not that much is the breakfast, is ok not bad but not perfect don’t have many choices, but I would definitely come back again to this hotel 👍👍

We stayed at this resort in March 2023 having reviewed all local hotels in detail in advance on trip advisor/ google. We are delighted we did this as we were very happy with this hotel. To summarise: - Location: Railay is beautiful and by being on the quieter part you get the benefit of being quieter and less touristy, whilst still being within 5 mins walk to main part. Much better to stay here that Ao Bang Beach. Railay is fantastic! You can reach there by boat, but can be expensive to get back after 6pm (we paid 2k baht as could not find anyone coming back at 10pm) - Pool and lounge area: Stunning view, good size pool and pool bar! Be careful with food as we got robbed by a monkey, rather amusing! - Staff: incredibly polite! - Food: we did not have dinner but the breakfasts were superb (as a meat eater). However, my wife is vegan and struggled. I would recommend the hotel provide at least a few options for vegans. Veganism is growing world wide and there is an opportunity to get ahead here! - Hotel room: our deluxe grand room was a great size and stunning. Only issue was it was slightly dark but nothing can be done about this as we were on ground floor. I would also recommend more water be given for guests in the warmer season. - Hotel grounds: breath taking. I recall our second night coming home at night for the first time from a different angle saying this place looks stunning only to be pleasantly told by my wife that this was in fact our hotel! :) - Top tips. 1) MUST Walk to the main beach and ask at the boat hut counter (on the beach, a little stand) for a private early sunrise 4 island tour. You will need to get there by 6am. We did this and had the islands to ourselves. It was incredible. I would have paid 5 times the amount we paid. 2) you can do Railay/nearby area in 3 days. 3) if you come outside of dec-feb it can be a little quiet. We were slightly disappointed how quiet it was. All in all, great hotel and hope the above helps future tourists!

Loved this place so much we went back for an extra night from Ao Nang for my husband’s birthday. Breakfast is perfect overlooking Railay East with tea and coffee available all day. Rooms are rustic and wonderful, we stayed in three and they all had a different feel. If you’ve done your research you’ll know that there are a few steps up to the resort and there is no A/C but to us that just added to the experience, the walk back from Railay West at night was a joy and a cooling fan blowing over you seems so much more appropriate for the setting rather than a chilling A/C unit. Staff were excellent and could not do enough to help you have a great stay.

The breakfast here is great and reliably clean. The view is great from the restaurant. The staff is excellent and the location is excellent for a rock climber or someone who just wants a more chill experience than Railay West. Kayaks are available and the resort has longtail transportation right out front. I’ve stayed in the hotel rooms and in the bungalows. The hotel is very comfortable. The bungalows are more likely to let mosquitoes inside going in and out because of the doors. Bungalow unit 115 has the large double bed, but unfortunately this bed is worn to the point that it sags in the middle and the springs are an issue. I would recommend requesting a room with the smaller separate beds for sake of comfort.

Overall a really excellent hotel. It was very quiet when we arrived (only a few other couples and families were occupying the other villas). The staff were excellent and really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had to move rooms because there was some excess noise from a pool pump room at the back of our villa but the staff were very understanding and accommodating (had it been busier then this probably wouldn't have been possible). The breakfast was fantastic and the free shuttle bus to the beach was a great addition. The location is perfect - you can walk to the beach in about twenty mins or so and there's plenty to see and do along the way. The only disappointment was the gym facilities and the fact that there was no bar but other than that it was a great hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Bluesotel Smart hotel. Location wise: it is a 2 minute walk to the beach, and not so far away from shops and restaurants. Our room was cute, we enjoyed staying there however we’d have to constantly call them to clean our room. I think the staff can try a little more when it comes to hospitality. I think they need to have more western options on their breakfast. Oh and they have a rooftop pool that gives spectacular views of the ocean, it’s a great spot to watch the sunset.

Nous avons séjournez 4 nuits dans cet hôtel. Extrêmement mal insonorisé, on entend les voisins de chaque chambre, également le personnel passer devant la porte ou les chaises qui glissent sur le sol. Nous avons plusieurs fois été réveillés à cause d’enfants qui hurlent le matin dans l’entrée et pourtant nous étions au 2 eme étage. La décoration est un peu vieillotte. A mon sens l’hôtel à besoin d’un rafraîchissement un peu plus moderne. La piscine est correct mais il n’y a pas beaucoup de transat donc si vous voulez y aller après une journée en mer sur les coups de 16h vous pouvez oublier. Pool bar sympa mais qui ne proposent pas grand chose et surtout la personne qui sert n’a pas l’air emballé d’être la.. Cela dit l’hôtel est ex centré donc plus au calme que le long de la route et la vue depuis le balcon (piscine + falaise) est très jolie. Certes le prix est attrayant (1000 bah/nuit pour nous en tout cas) un conseil, si vous souhaitez malgré tout dormir dans cet hôtel, prenez directement sur place car ce ne sont pas les mêmes prix que sur les sites revendeurs Il y a un très bel hôtel pour le même prix quasiment à quelques mètres mais nous n’avions pas vu d’avis sur internet donc nous n’y sommes pas aller mais si c’était à refaire je ne redormirais pas ici.

Well it’s $42 nZ a night so it’s dirt cheap.the location is fantastic in the jungle below the cliffs.It has a fantastic pool area with monkeys frolicking in the surrounding trees. We stayed 4 days and the monkeys were seen every day …….. but the rooms are the worst part. Tired, dated, and a little dirty.( But it’s $42!!) it’s walking distance to shops and restaurants but a 30 min walk to beach so best to use thier shuttle or hire a scooter. Minimal English is spoken by staff and you will be woken by multiple roosters at 5.30am….. and a peacock if he’s feeling vocal.

The service was a little slow but the hotel was busy so everyone was doing their best. The facilities were great! Nice gym and kids club, unfortunately I didn’t get to use the spa. The beach front was gorgeous and the live entertainment (singing and fire show) was incredible! The children loved the pools and slides and we were impressed by the Christmas decorations! A very enjoyable stay in an ideal location.
