Hotel berhampiran Catholic Musashigaoka Church, Kumamoto

2023年11月に２泊しました。熊本駅から市電で15分（￥180）、空港バスで特快で40分（交通事情で差異あり、￥1,000）でした。いずれも通町筋で下車。新規開業されたばかりで、建物もきれいでホテル下は飲食店街になります。ホテル界隈にも多数の飲食店が軒を連ねています。３Fにレセプションがあって、アメニティはそこで自由にとります（歯ブラシ、ひげそり、ブラシ等）。貸しパジャマ￥200と有料ですが、とてもリーズナブルなホテルと感じました。連泊の場合はタオルのみの交換です。朝食は時間がなく利用せず、１Fの焼き立てパンを利用しました。また横にテラスがあり、写真の通り熊本城が一望できます。部屋はタイプが８種類あるそうで、今回は靴を脱いでフローリングの１Kみたいな部屋でした。デスクワークにも向いており、Wifi環境にも問題ありません。もちろんバストイレはセパレートです。お湯の出具合、バスタブの排水も問題なしです。ベッドは畳の上に布団が敷かれており、寝心地も抜群です。面白いのは玄関入ってすぐに洗面所がある点です。隣に鶴屋（百貨店）があり、お土産各種、食材調達にも不便は感じませんでした。熊本へお出かけの際はお薦めできるホテルです。

ファミリールームに家族3人で泊まりましたが、とても広い窓で、お部屋も綺麗で広く、一歩お部屋に入った途端、全員がこのお部屋が大好きになりました。ベッドもお布団も気持ち良く、『雲のベッド』呼んでいました。お風呂場も洗い場と浴槽に十分なスペースがとってあり、とても気持ち良く利用出来ました。朝食のレストランもお洒落な空間で、お料理もバラエティーに富んで美味しく、パン好きな家族もとても喜び、ご飯好きの私も高菜ご飯を満喫しました。朝食料金も大変良心的で驚きました。家族全員が、『また絶対に泊まりたい』と言っています。

A very nice, modern hotel in the heart of the Kumamoto shopping district - very convenient location, right at the cross section of the two major covered shopping thoroughfares. Check-in only at 3pm and is an automated check-in/check-out system. Staff are very helpful and friendly. At check-in, you are free to choose your amenities from a very wide selection, including bath salts, face cleanser, moisturizer, coffee, green tea, etc. There is a giant tv in the room. No bottled water is provided. The room offers a full robe (short yukata and pants!). The rooms itself are very modern and renovated. There are two Family Marts and a 7-11 within a block of the hotel, as well as many dining and retail options within short walking distance. It is about a 15 minute walk to Kumamoto Castle and a 30 minute walk to Kumamoto Station.

Location is unbeatable and it’s great I can park the car in the hotel with very reasonable charge. As a gentle note, hotel car park only accept cash on the ground level. The onsen is really good and open till mid night, which is great. The room is comfortable and clean.

It was a awesome stay at Koko Hotel Premier Kumamoto. We parked our car at the multi story parking building opposite and just walk over with our lugguage. As I have already read some reviews in advance, we have no problem finding the hotel but I must say the sign board is a little not eye catching and can easily miss it. (can see my photo below). Everything is comfortable there and I just have to make space for my luggage opening which is not much of an issue. The location is so convenient and can easily walk over to the shopping area for our dinner with many choices. We enjoyed our stay and there is also drinks vending machine on the level we stayed. Will definitely recommend it for it super convenient location :) btw is near to the Kumamoto castle too!

I few steps away from the station. The building looks renovated from an older one by the inside facilities are up to standards. I always love the breakfast where they include local dishes and materials.

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.

Delicious Food: The hotel's restaurant offers a wide range of delectable dishes, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Guests can indulge in a variety of culinary delights. 5. Impressive Facilities: The hotel boasts impressive facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, spa, and business center, providing guests with options for relaxation and convenience. The Bad: 1. Noise Issues: Some guests have reported noise disturbances from neighboring rooms or outside the hotel, which can disrupt sleep and relaxation. 2. Slow Wi-Fi: The hotel's internet connection can be slow and unreliable at times, making it inconvenient for guests who rely on a stable internet connection. 3. Maintenance Problems: A few guests have experienced issues with maintenance, such as malfunctioning air conditioning or plumbing problems, which can affect their overall experience. 4. Limited Parking: The hotel has limited parking spaces, causing inconvenience for guests who arrive with their own vehicles. Finding parking nearby can be a challenge. 5. Pricey Extras: Some guests have found the hotel's additional services, such as room service or laundry, to be quite expensive compared to similar establishments. It's important to note that every hotel has its strengths and weaknesses. When choosing a hotel, it's advisable to consider these factors and prioritize what matters most to you in order to have a satisfying stay.

This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

Love, love, love this hotel!!! Staff are all very friendly & professional. Room is fantastic. The view from the corner room was very nice. Everything in the room is very well designed and thoughtful for travelers. Location is the best, right above JR station. The breakfast buffet was amazing. I will definitely stay at this hotel or look for this hotel chain in the future. The only suggestion is to make the sign for parking bigger. It took us a while to find the parking entrance.
