　熊本市内に東横インは４店舗あります。こちらの東横INN熊本城通町筋は、熊本城にも近く、繁華街にあるので近くに食事処も数多くあること、目の前の通りには市電が通っていて電停もすぐ近くにあることなど、立地の良さでこちらのホテルを選びました。 　ただ、駐車場に入るためには、裏側の一方通行が多くて狭い道を通る必要があって、少し苦労しました。 　ホテルとしては、東横インクオリティそのままのホテルです。設備施設は簡素ですが、明るくてきれいな館内と客室は好感が持てます。ホテルスタッフも気持ちの良い対応でした。

繁華街から近いホテルです。居酒屋？のようなものも併設されていて、フロントには2人必ずスタッフさんがいて安心出来ました。お部屋はあまり広くありませんが、ある程度綺麗にされていて良かったです。シャワーは部屋にもよるかもしれませんが凄く水が四方八方に飛び散るタイプでした。笑 ありがとうございました(^^)

Sarapan pagi adalah bufet, tetapi saya berpuas hati dengan sayur-sayuran dan protein yang seimbang serta langkah-langkah kawalan jangkitan yang baik. Berdekatan dengan Istana Kumamoto dan bandar, ia sangat sesuai untuk bersiar-siar. Satu-satunya masalah ialah jalan raya sangat sesak semasa waktu berulang-alik pada waktu pagi dan petang, jadi anda harus berhati-hati.

A lovely hotel to stay in close to Kumamoto Castle. The rooms are nice and clean with friendly staff who are very helpful. Bath areas on the 12th floor are also quite nice and have a range of offerings inside. Breakfast was included with the price we paid, however, all the food was a little tasteless, if paying for breakfast, it is easy to go downstairs and get something but I’d probably go somewhere else if paying.

My wife and I stayed at the Nikko Kumamoto from 1/5/2023- 3/5/2023 on our second leg of the kyushu trip after a disastrous stay at Nikko Huis Ten Bosch( that I posted on another review). The hospitality was a complete turnaround . We arrived by taxi from the kumamoto station and upon arrival at rhe entrance, there was.a guest officer to help us unload and wheel in our luggage to the check in lobby. Throughout our stay whenever we stepped into or walked by the guests officers, they would greet us and acknowledge us. Despite the language barrier, I was especially touched by the sincere efforts of one of your male guests officer who wore glasses. I had intially wanted to visit Mount Aso but did not know how to go there using public bus. So one one evening I walked to the guest relations desk and stated my intentions and request for more info. I could tell the officer had difficulty trying to communicate in English but he was trying very hard to get the information across. Throughout our stay were given maps and shown by pen and drawings whenever we had questions to a location ie ramen restaurant while waiting for check in, where to shop for sneakers etc I really appreciated the hospitality and guidance despite the language barrier. We hope to be back in future and keep up the good work! I hope the nikko mgmt team can transfer this consistency to your other chains ie( nikko huis ten bosch which clearly lacks such direction ). I really hope when ever I'm in japan I can go back to a nikko

有料ですが駐車場もあり繁華街にも近くて、立地はとても良いと思います。 ロビーも部屋も広くて気持ちがいい作りですが、トイレの流れがよくないのと、（たぶん永年のこびりつきの）部分的な茶色い汚れが気になりました。 他にシングルでかなりリーズナブルなお部屋もありましたが、Trip.comさんの案内欄でそのお部屋は窓なしという事を知り、（週末でしたので）約2倍の金額でしたが窓付きの部屋を選びました。 川の傍でこの立地、他の建物と距離があるこの作りで、窓なしの部屋があるのは、とても勿体ないと思います。 改装が無理であれば、ホテルの公式HPではリーズナブルな価格の部屋は窓なしという事が記載されていませんので、その旨明記して頂きたいです。 窓なしの部屋が苦手なため、もし知らないまま窓なしのお部屋を選んでいたら、とても残念な旅になりました。 また、禁煙のお部屋は空きがなく喫煙可の部屋でしたが、やはり微かなタバコの臭いが気になりました。

2023年11月に２泊しました。熊本駅から市電で15分（￥180）、空港バスで特快で40分（交通事情で差異あり、￥1,000）でした。いずれも通町筋で下車。新規開業されたばかりで、建物もきれいでホテル下は飲食店街になります。ホテル界隈にも多数の飲食店が軒を連ねています。３Fにレセプションがあって、アメニティはそこで自由にとります（歯ブラシ、ひげそり、ブラシ等）。貸しパジャマ￥200と有料ですが、とてもリーズナブルなホテルと感じました。連泊の場合はタオルのみの交換です。朝食は時間がなく利用せず、１Fの焼き立てパンを利用しました。また横にテラスがあり、写真の通り熊本城が一望できます。部屋はタイプが８種類あるそうで、今回は靴を脱いでフローリングの１Kみたいな部屋でした。デスクワークにも向いており、Wifi環境にも問題ありません。もちろんバストイレはセパレートです。お湯の出具合、バスタブの排水も問題なしです。ベッドは畳の上に布団が敷かれており、寝心地も抜群です。面白いのは玄関入ってすぐに洗面所がある点です。隣に鶴屋（百貨店）があり、お土産各種、食材調達にも不便は感じませんでした。熊本へお出かけの際はお薦めできるホテルです。

전형적인 캡술 호텔이었습니다 개인 락커가 작아서 캐리어가 안들어가서 도난의 불안이 있기도 했지만 아무 일도 없었어요 락커와 침실이 층수차이가 있어서 왔다갔다를 좀 많이 했네요 위치는 구마모토역에서 꽤 멀었어요 저는 택시 이용했지만 걸어서 30분 이상나오고 택시비는 1100엔정도 나옵니다 위치가 역에서 멀지 번화가에 있어서 관광자체는 좋았습니다 단점은 아무래도 캡술 호텔이다보니 더웠어요 에어컨은 복도에 있고 다른 사람때문에 캡슐에 누워 천막을 내리다 보니 어쩔 수 없었겠죠

We stayed at the GR Hotel for one night while in Kumamoto. I would say it was an average stay, nothing really stood out but we were satisfied with our stay. The check in and out process was easy. The hallways smelled of smoke but the rooms did not. I felt the room was a bit out dated but the bed was fine and it had all the necessary amenities. The location was great as it was an easy walk to the shopping streets and castle.

フロントが良いです。毎回気分が良い。同じタイプのお部屋でも照明が違って、今回は明るくて良かった!!前回は暗いスポット照明で一人だったら怖かったと思います。部屋のお風呂は古過ぎて嫌だけど大きいお風呂に行くので大丈夫です。部屋の雰囲気もお風呂も街の真ん中にいることを忘れてしまいます。朝ごはんは、品数は多くはないけれどどれも美味しいです。剥げた壁紙やトイレの床、浴槽を修繕すれば随分印象が変わると思います。今回はソバ枕を用意してもらいました。ボロだけど何か落ち着くので私は好きです。

古いですが客室の壁は大部分が張り替えられていて見た目は悪くないです。 立地はアーケードまで30秒なのでかなり良し。 部屋はツインでゆったり広々していました。 部屋の椅子ですが、これが良い革の素材で良い印象を受けました。 景色ですが、低層ではありながら、ちょっと木がならぶ道に風情を感じました。 2Fフロントですがバスアメニティでポーラの化粧水や乳液があるのも良かった。

For its price and location. It''s an unbeatable choice. When I choice a business hotel, location and price are the key. I just need a place to shower and sleep. I don't need to spend money on those fancy stuff like a grand lobby... Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff . . I can't ask for more from a business hotel. Good breakfast is a nice plus here.

This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

The hotel's location was the main reason why we booked the place. It was close to both Kumamon Square and Kumamotojo, the 2 things we wanted to do in Kumamoto. However, note that even though it's right next to Kumamotojo, it still takes a 15~20minute walk to the entrance because it's on the other side of the castle keep during it's repairs. The staff are wonderful and very helpful, standard level of service in Japan is just one step above every other country. The staff did valet parking for me without extra charge, and was quite helpful in helping us to get to different attractions and restaurants. Overall, the hotel is very dated and the rooms are in dire need of a full renovation. I think that is why the rates were quite reasonable. For a hotel this caliber (probably 5 stars when it was first built), we only paid around 10,000 yen per night. The issue is the rooms are really old and the carpet looks dirty and ripped. parts of the washrooms were so old the faucet looked like it's from the early 90s and with small amounts of molds in the creases. Because the hotel is old, the ventilation isn't the greatest either. One of our rooms although was non-smoking, we could smell other room's cigarette smell in our room. Overall, I don't really recommend this hotel because it's really dated, but if you are on a budget and want close amenity it's worth a shot. The staff are nice too so I feel bad for not recommending the hotel, but at the end of the day, there are just better options in Kumamoto today.

数回利用させていただいています。昔からあるホテルでやや古さは感じますが、清潔で落ち着いて過ごせるホテルです。朝のバイキングは10Fのレストランなので朝日を浴びた熊本城が目の前に見えます。バイキングも変わらず美味しかったです。「熊本ラーメン」があり、最終日に朝ラーをしてしまいました。 お部屋の広さ、ベッドの硬さも満足ですが、お部屋の明かりが少ないので、スタンドライトがもう一つ欲しいことと、バスルームの蛇口が温度設定ができるタイプだとありがたいかな。ということで星4つのしました。 落ち着いた感じで快適な時間を過ごせたので満足です

初めて経験した　宿泊してる方の朝食が足りなかった。 支店長には直接連絡して相当文句を言った。 隣の家族連れはお子様のご飯がなく、可愛いそーでした。また、外人の方はそもそもの意味が分かってないのでパンの残りと納得を食べていた。白米及び*料理が無くて非常に残念である。 食材が無い理由→新人でしたとの返答 お客様はベテラン　新人は関係ないですよ。 お金払って来てるのだから、ミスが発生したら少しでも返金をするべきと思う。 サービスということは通用しないですよ。 次回、宿泊した際には期待しています。

A very nice, modern hotel in the heart of the Kumamoto shopping district - very convenient location, right at the cross section of the two major covered shopping thoroughfares. Check-in only at 3pm and is an automated check-in/check-out system. Staff are very helpful and friendly. At check-in, you are free to choose your amenities from a very wide selection, including bath salts, face cleanser, moisturizer, coffee, green tea, etc. There is a giant tv in the room. No bottled water is provided. The room offers a full robe (short yukata and pants!). The rooms itself are very modern and renovated. There are two Family Marts and a 7-11 within a block of the hotel, as well as many dining and retail options within short walking distance. It is about a 15 minute walk to Kumamoto Castle and a 30 minute walk to Kumamoto Station.
