Hotel berhampiran 立田山 お祭り広場, Kumamoto

2023年11月に２泊しました。熊本駅から市電で15分（￥180）、空港バスで特快で40分（交通事情で差異あり、￥1,000）でした。いずれも通町筋で下車。新規開業されたばかりで、建物もきれいでホテル下は飲食店街になります。ホテル界隈にも多数の飲食店が軒を連ねています。３Fにレセプションがあって、アメニティはそこで自由にとります（歯ブラシ、ひげそり、ブラシ等）。貸しパジャマ￥200と有料ですが、とてもリーズナブルなホテルと感じました。連泊の場合はタオルのみの交換です。朝食は時間がなく利用せず、１Fの焼き立てパンを利用しました。また横にテラスがあり、写真の通り熊本城が一望できます。部屋はタイプが８種類あるそうで、今回は靴を脱いでフローリングの１Kみたいな部屋でした。デスクワークにも向いており、Wifi環境にも問題ありません。もちろんバストイレはセパレートです。お湯の出具合、バスタブの排水も問題なしです。ベッドは畳の上に布団が敷かれており、寝心地も抜群です。面白いのは玄関入ってすぐに洗面所がある点です。隣に鶴屋（百貨店）があり、お土産各種、食材調達にも不便は感じませんでした。熊本へお出かけの際はお薦めできるホテルです。

A very nice, modern hotel in the heart of the Kumamoto shopping district - very convenient location, right at the cross section of the two major covered shopping thoroughfares. Check-in only at 3pm and is an automated check-in/check-out system. Staff are very helpful and friendly. At check-in, you are free to choose your amenities from a very wide selection, including bath salts, face cleanser, moisturizer, coffee, green tea, etc. There is a giant tv in the room. No bottled water is provided. The room offers a full robe (short yukata and pants!). The rooms itself are very modern and renovated. There are two Family Marts and a 7-11 within a block of the hotel, as well as many dining and retail options within short walking distance. It is about a 15 minute walk to Kumamoto Castle and a 30 minute walk to Kumamoto Station.

Location is unbeatable and it’s great I can park the car in the hotel with very reasonable charge. As a gentle note, hotel car park only accept cash on the ground level. The onsen is really good and open till mid night, which is great. The room is comfortable and clean.

It was a awesome stay at Koko Hotel Premier Kumamoto. We parked our car at the multi story parking building opposite and just walk over with our lugguage. As I have already read some reviews in advance, we have no problem finding the hotel but I must say the sign board is a little not eye catching and can easily miss it. (can see my photo below). Everything is comfortable there and I just have to make space for my luggage opening which is not much of an issue. The location is so convenient and can easily walk over to the shopping area for our dinner with many choices. We enjoyed our stay and there is also drinks vending machine on the level we stayed. Will definitely recommend it for it super convenient location :) btw is near to the Kumamoto castle too!

こちらのホテルはチェックイン時から、スムーズではありませんでした。 レンタカーでホテルのタワー駐車場に入庫しようとすると、ホテル正面にタクシーが停まっていて入れない状態。やむなくタクシーの脇に停車させると、タクシーの運転手が降りてきて「ここはタクシー乗り場なので入れないよ」と。 ホテルに泊まる宿泊客なのにホテル前に車がつけられないなんてどうなってるの？ 妻にフロントまで聞きに行ってもらうと、タワー駐車場は現在使用していないので、離れたところにある提携駐車場に１泊900円で駐車してくれと。 タワー駐車場の表示は「満車」となっていますが、「満車」ではなく「使用していない」そうです。 提携の立体駐車場に車を停めて、スーツケースをがらがら200ｍほど引っ張り、ようやくチェックインとなりました。 お部屋は最上階の角部屋。少し広めの部屋でした。 入口はいると左手にトイレ、右手に洗面所とお風呂、２つに分かれています。 分かれているのはいいのですが、それぞれのドアが引き戸ではなく開き戸なので、干渉しあって使い勝手が良くありません。 それと、通路から部屋に入ると、部屋全体が右にドッグレッグした状態（右横に広がった状態）なので、空調の吹き出し口から出た冷気が右奥の方へ行きわたらず、手前は寒く右奥は暑いという環境でした。 朝食はB1にある「雑魚屋」という居酒屋で食べることになります。有無を言わさず和食でした。 内容的には、辛子蓮根と高菜はありましたが、そのほかに熊本らしさはなく、いたって普通の和食でした。 東急ホテルズには馴染みがあり、いろんな都市で利用しているのですが、次回熊本滞在の時にこちらを選ぶかどうかは微妙です。

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.

Noise Issues: Some guests have reported noise disturbances from neighboring rooms or outside the hotel, which can disrupt sleep and relaxation. 2. Slow Wi-Fi: The hotel's internet connection can be slow and unreliable at times, making it inconvenient for guests who rely on a stable internet connection. 3. Maintenance Problems: A few guests have experienced issues with maintenance, such as malfunctioning air conditioning or plumbing problems, which can affect their overall experience. 4. Limited Parking: The hotel has limited parking spaces, causing inconvenience for guests who arrive with their own vehicles. Finding parking nearby can be a challenge. 5. 良い所は交通の便が良い。駅から/へのバスは目の前に止まり、少し離れた所に電停もあります。 中心繁華街からは遠いけど歩けなくはない。バス市電を使えば更に便利。周囲に店は少ないけど、歩いてすぐに良い和食屋あり。 部屋は狭くて荷物整理には苦労します。ベッドの周りの足場だけ。机はたためる（それだけ狭い）鞄を広げられるのは入口への僅かな廊下スペース。 大浴場はこの手のビジネスホテルとしては普通、ユニットバスより快適だけど温泉宿ほどの良さは無し。 駐車場は併設の立体。雨でも濡れずにok。夜間は管理人が居なくなるので車の出入りも荷物の出し入れも不可。それで困るなら近くの駐車場を紹介されます。

This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

Love, love, love this hotel!!! Staff are all very friendly & professional. Room is fantastic. The view from the corner room was very nice. Everything in the room is very well designed and thoughtful for travelers. Location is the best, right above JR station. The breakfast buffet was amazing. I will definitely stay at this hotel or look for this hotel chain in the future. The only suggestion is to make the sign for parking bigger. It took us a while to find the parking entrance.
